Calling all Nerds!!!!
How is everyone’s week going? I’m still kinda in withdrawal of of a Heather free episode. She was genius to screencap every week. Plus she said the darndest things. Sorry this is kinda late this week. I’ve been busy packing for the JewpacAbuela’s B-Day party in Vegas!!! Woohoo. But she is from the non-jewish side….. semantics. Either way should be fun so next weeks recap will be posted a little later in the week too. Anyways let’s jump right into this week’s episode of
Scooby Doo and the 13 ghosts King of the Nerds
Episode 6 – Murder at Nerdvana!!!! Whodunnit meets King of the Nerds. I have died and gone to heaven.
The episode opens, as per always, with the contestants returning from the elimination of Heather. Colby is once again basking in the aura of victory, interviewing that if you are going to come at the King, you best be ready. Just when I starting not calling you Smug Douche Colby… you rear your ugly head again. Go back to last episode Colby. I liked him.
Catwoman Amanda and company then place Heather’s Horcrux, the letter H piece from the last Nerd Off on the Sacrificial Shrine and mourns the lost of her bestie. Heather kinda got a lame horcrux in comparison to everyone else. I mean, Gollum got the Holy Hand Grenade for God’s sake! The letter H. What is this Sesame Street lame crap? Anyways, Mastermind Jonathan is a little remorseful about the last episode because he could have manned up to save Heather and taken Colby down. Heather was one of his favorites. Awwwwww
So the nerds decide to drink their sadness away because I’m fairly sure they are all alcoholics (join the club), while Colby distances himself from the group to re-energize and recuperate. My new BFF Lily (teach me to sew and cosplay!!) understands Colby’s need for some downtime and lets him work through his frustration etc.
Cylon Kaitlin once again proves she is learning to love humankind and says she is going to go talk to Colby anyways because she is actually happy he came back. Wow that is a total 180 from the first elimination where she was kinda like “meh, someone left?”. I’m pretty sure the theme of the season is robots learning to feel a la Team Smash’s cosplay skit. Colby commends her on her game play
The nerds are really drunk and decide to start acting out improv Star Wars, because that’s what nerds do and I wish I was there to play Yoda. Soooooo jealous. Rainbow Bright Raychelle notices that Colby is sitting by himself and decides she is going to teach him about the Power of Friendship. Yes, after weeks of me making fun of the Power of Friendship every recap, she actually mentions it almost in the episode. Am I psychic? Sidenote: they try and get him to play Colby Wan Kenobi hahahahaha.
This prompts a Nerd intervention where everyone talks about how they were picked on and that the last thing they want to do is exclude Colby because they all know how that feels. Awwwwwww. Nerds coming together to support each other. I want them all to be my friends.
