Well it’s another week and we’re all still hanging out, so I think we are all hooked!

Helen did her thing as the last HOH and brought everyone together in a more harmonious household. There is no more distinct division of sides. Jeremy is gone and we have a new HOH, but I don’t know who yet…

We will see who sides with who this week and where the cracks are in all of these alliances depending on who wins this HOH.

Thanks to everyone for making this season so entertaining with all of your opinions and humor!

Incidentally if this isn’t a sign CBS wants Aaryn OUT OF THERE, I don’t know what is. You know she’s going to be an absolute forgone conclusion, if Judd doesn’t stick her up there to begin with. If not her…well, I don’t know – Kaitlin maybe, or GinaMarie – people are sick of her crying.

I think people are super sick of Elissa being MVP, hence the audience getting to choose. Aaryn will get nominated anyway. Yay Judd!!!

This new “expect the unexpected” BBMVP is CBS’s cop-out..They didnt want to expel Aaryn but the know America has no problem with it…Now if we can just get these idiots to vote the bitch out!

If they are told “Hey, America was the MVP this week and nominated Aaryn btw,” I am pretty sure most of the houseguests would be keenly interested in getting rid of the person America doesn’t care for.

Also, I’m really really really really REALLY hoping it works out and she’s nominated via MVP, because oh man will the tears when she realizes “Oh hey America doesn’t LIKE YOU” will be particularly delicious

Just got caught up from yesterday. I would be the old guy in the corner checking everyone out and being relatively quiet, (AKA: Stealtheye). When I had everyone figured out, I would be much like Helen was this week manipulating everyone to find out what I already knew.

I think CBS was afraid the MVP thing was becoming too boring with Elisa every week. And I agree, what better way to get rid of Aaryn. Called that one earlier this week.

  • #270778

I said from the very begining that America’s choice of MVP wouldn’t necesarily have anything to do with who is America’s favorite, and more to do with picking the person who will likely put the most unfavorite person up on the block. Hope that made sense.

    Yayy Judd.

I’m voting to evict Elissa. She needs to go because she’s a useless cliche’. She’s being protected by CBS and for what? Aaryn will get her nomination via an HOH. Why waste an MVP vote.

Amanda is already pushing her agenda on Judd. She had Judd, Pizza Boy, Elissa & Jessie in the lounge discussing the plan for the week. Judd will put up Kaitlin and Aaryn, then Elissa will put up Spencer as the MVP nomination. sure does sound like a repeat of last week to me. She wants to make sure that the two girls know in advance that they are just pawns. They’re real target will be howard and if he happens to win the VETO, then Aaryn will be the one evicted. It’s just that simple. Does everyone agree? Of course they do! Elissa wants to get rid of Aaryn but Amanda says it’s a numbers game and she doesn’t have anyone, but Howard has Spencer & Candice… that’s a force of 3. He’s a bigger danger (to her & PB). Jessie thinks Kaitlin’s a big threat because she’s so good at the HOH comps, making it to the end twice now. Amanda poo-poo’s that too, telling her too that it’s a numbers game. Kaitlin’s got no alliance either. Amanda hounds the shit out of Judd about doing things her way and not trusting Elissa with her MVP vote.

When Judd gets her alone, he asks her if they are good with her nomination and she tells him yes, but she not so sure about Julie’s “expect the unexpected” and what it means. Judd says something about the Coup D’état and Elissa says maybe someone is coming into the house. Judd tells her, “We need to know what each other are doing. You have as much power as I do.” Elissa admits that she just feels weird, but maybe it’s because she hasn’t worked out today.

Even though I like Elissa as much as I can like someone I have only seen on tv, and she hasn’t really done anything to disgust me like a few of them have, I agree with you Chooch. Mainly because She Hasn’t Done Anything… At least her Sis went balls to the walls during challenges. She does nothing.

I think that she has been picked for MVP time and time again because she telegraphs her target and her target is usually a good one. Nick,Germy,David…

I’m pretty sure right now, looking at how it’s all been playing out so far, that if Judd does not nominate GM, GM will likely go up as America’s MVP nom. She’s had bad press too, remember – not as much as Aaryn, and she hasn’t been highlight as much as Aaryn, but the clips are out there and she lost her job, which made headlines just as much as Aaryn’s eviction did.

Right now, Judd is trying to decide who to put on the block. He doesn’t want to stick Aaryn up there because he lied to her a lot – he’d rather put Kaitlin and GM up there. Everyone else is pushing for Aaryn and Kaitlin. If Judd puts up Kaitlin and GM, guarantee you America’s nominee is going to be Aaryn. If Judd puts up Kaitlin and Aaryn, it’ll probably be GM.

Regardless, unless Judd puts Howard up immediately, he may not even end up on the block – but if Kaitlin wins and takes herself off (Frankly, I don’t see GM or Aaryn winning a comp at this point, let’s be real here), they could absolutely backdoor Howard no questions asked.

Now here’s MY question – if America votes for the MVP nominee, and that person wins PoV and takes themselves off, do we get to vote a secondary nominee? Or will they just go down the list according to who had the most votes, and pick the next person in line?

  • #270795

    Whatwhat
    Participant

The funny part right now is that Judd is spending way, way more time talking strategy with Elissa and making sure she’s on the same page with him than McCrae or Helen EVER did in their HoH’s. He’s actually trying to actively involve her in the process. And it’s all because everyone assumes she’s going to get MVP again. The hamsters learned that Elissa is a useful tool, and now they expect her to work for them automatically – how are they going to react when they find out the useful tool is no longer useful?

More importantly, is BB going to TELL the houseguests that America chose the third nominee, or leave it in the dark? If they just leave it in the dark, holy crap will there ever be a mountain of finger-pointing and accusation-throwing.

There’s lots of speculation in the house about what Julie meant when she said “expect the unexpected…” some of the theories that have been thrown out:
-They’ll put a limit on how many times one HG can win MVP or eliminate it
-Double eviction or a returning HG
-GinaMarie (and GM only) thinks that both Nick and Jeremy are going to come back to the house. Seriously. Interestingly, she’s also freaking out about why America thinks she’s stupid.

Judd has been paying a whole lot of attention to Elissa, collaborating on potential nominees, assuming she’s going to have MVP, and giving her the credit that Helen sorta denied her this past week.

McCrae’s birthday is on Sunday, and he says all he wants for his birthday is to not be a have-not, and to get booze.
Someone suggests maybe he’ll get a stripper for his birthday.
Judd adds maybe it will be “a little person stripper!”
McCrae says he has never been to a strip club, and really doesn’t want to ever go to one – the idea of women being in a position that they have to take their clothes off to make ends meet makes him really uncomfortable.
Spencer agrees with McCrae, he doesn’t really like strip clubs. And then adds they “they don’t like it when you throw quarters at them.”

Elissa and Amanda are having a heart-to-heart about relationships, how great a guy McCrae is and how much Amanda loves him, and the nature of Elissa’s relationship with her husband when she first met him. And like, Elissa like uses the word “like” like, way too much. It’s like grating on my, like, nerves.

Judd is assuring Aryan that she isn’t his target, but is suggesting he might use her as a pawn.

Aryan is a little freaked, and is throwing all her allies under the bus – she suggests both GM and Kaitlin as alternatives to her. She also advises Judd to put up Howard & Candice, and says she’s afraid Elissa is going to get MVP again, she’s throwing names out like it’s her JOB.
Judd tells her he would be happy if GM went home this week.

I was disappointed Julie didn’t ask Asshat Jeremy if he didn’t feel like he’d been “jewed” by the other houseguests (yes, he said it again just yesterday, right before telling Julie how much he’d changed. Well, fuck you, you asshole.) Julie definitely softballed him. Although I did notice they didn’t let him get anywhere near the audience, didn’t let them cheer (or boo).

I’d love to see what Amanda’s goodbye message was! They’re starting to pump her up now on the show. She’s about the only funny one left.

Aryan Aaryn is definitely a twit. It looks like the others have made peace with her being there though — maybe because they figured out she’s just a bitter old bitch?

Judd clearly did NOT want to win that. I’m glad Kaitlin didn’t though! She needs another week or two to be de-brainwashed. Maybe she’ll turn into a decent person?

Hmmm….another thing that is going to make this MVP thing a bit tricky is when the voting is going to open and close. Does anyone know?

If the voting doesn’t open until after the noms are announced on Sunday, then there won’t be problem with the HOH nominating the same person as the MVP. If that’s the case, then Aryan will be the obvious choice. If, on the other hand, the votes get tallied before the viewing audience knows who are the HOH picks, then it gets less predictable. If the audience’s top first and second choices (Aryan and probably GM) are already picked, they would have to go with the third choice? Elissa maybe?…I’ not sure. The timing of when BB/CBS reveals the twist to the HG (before or after HOH noms) is also going to affect strategy.

I think that the producers are going to want to maintain as much control of the situation as they can. They are going to reveal the twist to the HGs after after Judd’s noms and then open voting after Sunday’s show. Elissa is going to have a freak out when she realizes that there is no need for the others to consult with her any more.

Also, is there some kind of symbolism to Elissa’s sideways cross thing? Is that like a wink, along the lines of “look, I know religion is just silly, but if it’ll help me get MVP votes…”? Or does it have some kind of deeper meaning.

I’m enjoying how they’re playing up Howard as the bible dude. He’s already admitted that he originally wanted to play the Jeremy part but that production told him to be Bible guy. And now we also know he’s just another reality famewhore.

-the sideways cross thing is just a trend. I work in fashion and crosses were on everything last year. I actually have a similar necklace as Elissa and I’m athiest.

-I think America choosing the MVP is not only a ploy to get Aaryn out but to keep Howard in. I think he and Candace have become the underdogs in American’s eyes after Bed-Gate and I dont think America will vote for Howard. It will either be Aaryn or GM. (Personally I used all 10 of my votes on GM. I HATE Aaryn but I’d like to keep seeing her embarass heself and her family. GM has to be the most annoying person on TV i have ever seen. That title used to belong to Enzo and those “meow meow” noises.)

-im loving that Aaryn’s only “friends” in the house dont trust or even seem to really like her much anymore. (BTW, Aaryn’s mom has hired a publicist to try and salvage her reputation.)

-WE BETTER start seeing interviews with Jeremy soon because im starting to worry that they are planning on putting him back in the house.

-i cant wait til GM leaves and finds out that Nick couldnt give two shits about her. theres no way in hell Nick would date Staten Island trash like her. Not that I think Nick is some kind of catch.

Get your votes in! The voting for the third nominee ends today (Friday) at 6PM (Pacific). I gave 5 to Aaryn and 5 to GM. As someone said, it would be awesome for Aaryn to find out that America put her up! And I am soooo sick of GM crying! At least Elissa is nominating people and it hasn’t been in secret.

Big contrast between GM’s (still continuing) post Nick demeanor and Kaitlin’s post Jeremy demeanor. And there was probably some REAL emotion with the latter pair.

Judd shouldn’t nominate Kaitlin, seems like she can do well in competitions. Do let Howard get nominated! We still need beefcake in the house! Plus I like the Howard/Candice pairing.

Well, I went to bed early last night so I’ve just check out what everyone has had to say about last night and then I went to the feeds to see what Judd had to say.

He really didn’t want this HOH like Dashley said and when I flash-backed to when it was just him and Jessie alone in the HOH bed together, I got filled in on their conversation. she is very grateful he is letting her stay upstairs with him and he’s just happy to have her sharing the room with him. You knows she’s afraid of those mean girls. They were busy bashing her right after the show last night, saying she was going to be right up Judd’s ass now that he’s HOH.
    null
Anyhow…. Judd wants to wait and see what the MVP nom is before he worries about the VETO and whether or not to throw it. Jessie thinks that he’s being used to get rid of Howard, but he tells Jessie that his target is Gina Marie. He wanted her out of the house this week. He’s going to put up her & Kaitlin with Kaitlin as the pawn. Jessie can’t understand why he’d keep Kaitlin & AARYN over Gina Marie! Judd tells her that he’s already made a deal with Howard, AND Gina Marie doesn’t deserve to make it to the jury. Jessie just doesn’t see the house voting GM out, that they will vote out one of the other girls and then the others will come after her. Judd tells her that he’s already told Aaryn that he would not put her up, no matter what. (Well, now America can put her up then) Jessie tells him that she just feels that Andy and Amanda like Kaitlin better than they do her and when the time comes, will choose Kaitlin over Jessie. Judd tells her not to worry, Kaitlin doesn’t know anything about BB and that’s what matters.

Just a little while later Judd meets up with his homies in the bathroom to discuss his next move. He tells Spencer about his plan to get rid of Gina Marie. Spencer says he’ll vote for whoever Judd wants him too BUT he tries to tell him that GM’s easy pickins, like low-hanging fruit, that she can’t win shit and they can get her anytime they want. Judd tells him how much he hates the whole MVP thing and wishes it was over. He thinks it makes MORE floaters, not less. They both don’t like dealing with Elissa. Spencer says “She hates me and I voted for her!” When Howard joins them they fill him in on Judd’s plans and Judd decides to keep his noms with GM and Kaitlin, but they talk about the possibility of back-dooring Elissa, especially if she doesn’t do what they want her to.

Judd made one final stop last night, checking back in with Amanda & Pizza Boy. Of course, Amanda hadn’t veered off her course. She was still harping on about back-dooring Howard. Judd told her he was putting up Kaitlin & GM. Amanda said she was told that he was going around saying there was an all-girl alliance he wanted to break up. He said that’s what he told Kaitlin. Amanda wanted to know who Elissa was going to put up and Judd said Aaryn , but he doesn’t want her to. He says he wants her to put up Candice, but if he doesn’t do what he wants then what good is she. He should back-door HER! Amanda says that Elissa is never gonna put up Candice, she’s gonna put up Aaryn, cuz that’s who she wants gone. Judd thinks he’s pretty sure that Aaryn will stay and Amanda says she doesn’t give a shit who he puts up as long as Howard is the one who ends up going home. Then they start thinking about how Judd’s going to explain to Gina Marie why she’s going on the block. Judd says he’ll tell her, ” I had a vision from Nick last night and he needs you back in Staten Island. I’m sorry you have to go up.” He swears that’s what he’ll say, laughing like crazy “I’ll do it, I’ll do it!”

Up in the HOH room, Judd had a long conference with Elissa with Jessie chirping in now and then. Elissa would like to target Spencer or Howard with her vote. It amazes me how sure everyone is that Elissa will be the MVP again. Judd asks about her and Helen’s deal with Kaitlin to keep her safe this week. Elissa tells him that the deal is with Helen, not her. Judd says she can’t be making deals. “…. you can’t promise what I’ll do when I’m HOH. That’s your deal.” Judd is frustrated that there are so many side deals, like 90 of them! You got to pick the right one so everybody’s happy. Everyone is so focused on getting rid of Spencer and Howard and one of these girls has got to go. He thinks all three of them should go up. Elissa wants Aaryn gone, but Judd thinks it should be Kaitlin. Elissa wants to know why NOT Aaryn. Judd says it’s because she’s a loner like you were and I stuck up for you, now I’m doing it for her.
Whem Helen joins the crew and finds out Kaitlin and Gina Marie are the targets, she starts the fake crying act, telling Elissa that she promised Kaitlin she would be safe this week. Now Kaitlin KNOWS she’s the target and Helen swears she didn’t tell her. Aaryn must have and is setting Helen up! When Judd come into the room she calls Aaryn a ‘fucking bitch”, saying she was set up by Aaryn, that whatever she says , she’s a liar! They all agree that Aaryn is just a shit-stirrer and not to believe anything her or Kaitlin say. They can all three go up on the block.

Howard can come to my house and cook breakfast anytime. I’m drooling over here, for more than one reason.

I don’t think Judd is being stupid for wanting GM out. She’s an emotional vote, and he wants to make sure that she doesn’t get to jury. You can’t reason with her or change her game based on a deal, because she doesn’t know how to negotiate that way.

He didn’t want HoH this early, he doesn’t want to become a target by attempting to get a strong player out. Getting out GM is the least bloodstained his hands can be.

Plus, he’s hella irritated with her. She STILL hasn’t gotten over Nick, and he’s sick of hearing about it.

“Amanda getting off; Cam 1 and 2, 3 am on the 18th.
heavy making out, maybe more, haven’t watched it all. cam 1 and 2 the 19th at 5 am”

Oh yeah, Amanda and McCrae have been either having sex or dry humping in the lounge late at night/early in the morning (around 4 AM usually) every day now for 3 or 4 days. If you look at last week’s forums, I put a picture in there. But you can’t see much – they always make sure there’s a comforter covering them.

And Amanda is ALWAYS on top.

Btw, if you guys are wondering why there haven’t been any updates in a while, it’s because we’re on trivia while they do the have/have-not comp. There were bandanas to choose, and the people who haven’t been have-nots yet were strategizing last night how to choose bandanas to somehow increase their chances of winning, so fingers crossed they’re just blowing smoke up each other’s asses.
Have-not wish list: Aryan, GM, Kaitlin at LEAST. And I hope the food America chose was Sauerkraut and Seaweed, though artichokes and anchovies would also be a little evil. Macaroni and mangoes is going WAY too easy on them.

A little more Jessie/Judd cuteness! (Am I the only one excited that these two are totally in love with each other?)
While they were sleeping last night (well, this morning at about 7 AM) they were THISCLOSE all night to spooning. And Judd (unconsciously) had his hand down his pants.
Big Brother woke them up at 9:30 and said “Jessie, please go to the Diary Room.) She suddenly wakes up and whines, “Meeee? Why meee?” And Judd, who was already up and getting ready for the day, answered her “it’s because you are the only one who looks good without makeup and shit, not like the rest of em.”

Correction: Andy, Candice, Jessie, and Spencer are have-nots this week.

It was just confirmed that the nomination ceremony is today, and Judd is scrambling to talk to people to figure out what to do. Right now it looks like he’s going to nominate Kaitlin and GM, both as pawns that he won’t miss if they go home for some reason, with the intention of backdooring whomever his alliance decides to after POV.

  • #271154

Awwww yisss don’t nominate Aaryn, let America do that for you and watch her face crumple when she realizes America wants her out of there! This ought to be entertaining, and I’m pretty sure the week will be filled with petulant bitchfits as a result. If Kaitlin wins PoV (and she’s honestly the only one out of the three that is likely to do so on a physical challenge) and takes herself off the block, I don’t know if that’ll really change anything at all. I suspect Aaryn will be going home this week whether she likes it or not.

Really, my only regret if Aaryn goes home this week is that the little shit didn’t get stuck as a have-not while she was there. And the only reason I’d want her to stay is to see that happen.

Aaryn has been spreading a rumor around the house that Helen and Kaitlin have a deal, and it’s making Judd very paranoid.
Judd spoke with Elissa about it, and she advises him that he needs to be “smarter than that” because everything they’ve done as a team to this point has been solid, and it is in the other side’s best interest to cause contention.
Aryan also asked Judd “who do I need to be nice to” to avoid being put on the block? Uh… how about everyone, dumbass? Anyway, Judd advises her to suck up to Elissa and Helen and be generally nice, “Even though I know that’s hard for you.”

  • #271158

    Dashley

MY dream scenario is that it is announced BEFORE the veto comp that this week’s MVP is America, and Aryan is so caught up in how she has been portrayed as a racist (because she’s so discriminated against being pretty and from Texas) that she totally BLOWS the POV. That would be beautiful.

  • #271159

Aw, crap. Except Judd is working on the assumption that “Elissa is going to put up Aaryn anyway” so he’s going to put her and Kaitlin up with GM as his potential replacement nominee if he needs one.

Aryan also asked Judd “who do I need to be nice to” to avoid being put on the block? Uh… how about everyone, dumbass? Anyway, Judd advises her to suck up to Elissa and Helen and be generally nice, “Even though I know that’s hard for you.”

And that, right there, is why I hate Aaryn. She may be racist, she may not be racist. It doesn’t matter. That little piece of gold-covered-shit is the ugliest person I have ever seen on this show because she has absolutely no shred of common human decency toward anyone but HERSELF. She will sit there and pretend to be close friends with anyone and everyone, but it doesn’t matter in the long run because you can bet your ass 10 minutes after your perfectly nice conversation with her she will be talking to someone else about how horrible it was to talk to you and have to pretend to get along. That goes for Kaitlin, it goes for Jeremy, it goes for GM, it goes for David, it goes for every single last person in that house. I don’t even think she has friends out here in the real world, she just has people she talks to and uses to further whatever selfish, petty goals she has set for herself.

And she has the BALLS to say she has excellent gameplay when her strategy consisted of spreading her legs and slapping her vagina to some dude’s leg like a lamprey and riding them to the end of the game – she complains about floaters, yet her “strategy” was one of the BIGGEST FLOATER STRATEGIES OUT THERE. The ONLY thing that little shit has going for her is the fact that she’s pretty (which is arguable because her nose gives her a perpetual expression of constantly smelling something unpleasant), and she not only thinks that’s going to get her far in the game, she EXPECTS to get farther in the game because of it.

She is one of the most rancid, disgusting, entitled assholes I have ever seen on this show and you know what, last week I said I felt some small margin of dread for what was going to happen to her – I take that back. I seriously take it all back because every conversation she’s had after that just illustrates that that tsunami of horrible shit that is just waiting for her on the other side of that door is exactly what she deserves.

LOL GM is sooo bad at this game. She takes her turn to make her case to Judd, and she tells him that the fact she isn’t a have-not this week proves that she is feeling better, and is in this game now, and can win competitions. And then she offers to Judd to work with him, but leaves it there, nothing specific is discussed. He thanks her, and that’s the end of that. The whole conversation lasted about 60 seconds – even though she knows there’s a good chance she’s going on the block.

WW, I agree with you 100%.
And I would add that this season is a great example to point to about how someone’s personality changes the perception of their attractiveness. If you rewind to the first week, I thought Aryan was one of the most beautiful girls I had ever seen, and now every time I see her, I feel a little sick. To me, she’s incredibly unattractive. Contrast that with Judd and McCrae, who I didn’t think were particularly hot at all, and I now have a crush on both of them and think both of them are hot, because they are good people.

Helen, Candice, and Jessie are having a little anti-Amanda meeting right now. They think she has deals with too many people and she has too much influence in the house. They also think she might be responsible for the rumor that Kaitlin and Helen have a deal (they may not be wrong, I’m not entirely sure on that one.)

Also, I missed this originally in the VERY short Judd & GM conversation, but she apparently offered to keep him company in the HoH bed this week (GAG).

My wish is that Aryan will get the MVP nomination, but then not get voted out. Then next week she will become a have-not, the producers will keep America as the MVP and she will get voted again, and then voted out. Otherwise, she is not going to take the hint.

I love me some Amanda (especially because she has come the closest to figuring out the twist – a little bit ago she suggested that something was going to happen with MVP this week) but she needs to pull back a little. Since Judd nominated Aaryn and Kaitlin, America’s vote might actually be Amanda. If so, if any of those three came off the block using Veto, then Judd could put up GinaMarie. Although, I suppose GM might end up being America’s vote. It doesn’t matter. Seeing either GM’s or Amanda’s face if they got put up would be so entertaining.

I know I am in the minority here..but I do not care much for Amanda. She isn’t as funny as she thinks she is, and it is a good thing (for her) that Aryan, Hatelyn and Germy were in the house; otherwise the hateful things that SHE said in the first week might not have been so easily forgotten.

I also think that her plan all along was to get with the guy who would be “grateful” to be with a fairly attractive chick so that she could turn him into her titty baby.

Spencer and Judd watch SpyTV while they talk about the nomination ceremony. spencer wants to klnow what brought on Judd’s change of mind about putting up Aaryn instead of GM. he heard there was a blow up “up here” this morning. Judd said it wasn’t really nuthin’. It was Helen sayin’ that Kaitlin was told she was going on the block. Helen was blamed for telling her. Helen said that Aaryn was behind this lie and was stirrin’ up shit. Helen and the others want Kaitlin to stick around awhile longer. (Actually Helen promised her safety and Judd caved!)

I guess during the nom ceremony Judd told Aaryn that she twists what people say and it causes a lot of trouble. That was his reason for put her up.
    null
Aaryn interrupted the boys TV time to talk to Judd so Spencer excused himself. She was all teary-eyed and confused. He tells her that if there’s a power, that maybe she will get it. She is afraid she is going home and everyone is after her. He tries to tell her that they’re not. She asks him to promise that she’s not going home, but he doesn’t answer her, but offers her Skittles instead.
    null
She just doesn’t think she twists things, that she says anything wrong. She really wants to know if she does twist some things, what are they?
    null
Judd gives her a quick hug and offers up those Skittles, not committing to a thing but telling her that there is something coming that could change things.
When she goes down to the bathroom, Aaryn tells Amanda & Kaitlin that earlier Judd told her the MVP would probably put her up, not him and Kaitlin says “What if the twist is America nominates one of us?”

I’m still on the fence about Amanda. She’s clearly (along with Helen) the smartest person in the house, but she doesn’t have Helen’s smarminess to even her out. She’s definitely an East Coast personality, which doesn’t always go over well with midwesterners (Slow) and southerners (slower).

I think what happened between her and McCrae was it started out being a joke for her, but then she actually really started to like him (and his dick, apparently).

And so far there’s been no indication at all that this guy is anything other than a pizza delivery boy, right? You’d think by now, if he was hiding something, people would have found that out.

I find it hard to believe that the producers didn’t “guide” Judd’s nominations — it’s true, it would have been a great slap in the face to Aaryn. But maybe they’ll reveal the ACTUAL vote to the houseguests, then say, since Aayrn has already been nominated, the MVP vote goes to the second in line.

I tried to watch the feeds tonight, but the showmnances split off to themselves… Candice & Howard were with pizza Boy & Amanda for awhile and then they split off. Amanda & PB have taken over the lounge/cockpit for their own little love-nest. This is where she gives him his nightly hand job and then he returns the favor by letting her hump the shit out of him from on top. Candice has made it clear to Howard that she’d like to see Amanda as the MVP nomination. He see no use for Elissa if she has no MVP powers anymore. Elissa, of course, can’t keep her mouth shut, and not let on that she hasn’t gotten the MVP notice. She running around like the sky is falling! She is worried that Judd got the MVP and is just not telling her. Kaitlin is sure that she’s the one going home and wants everyone to tell her it’s not true, that she’s safe. Her and Aaryn have been being a little snippy with each other…not the buddies they were yesterday. It’s a fact that Jessie wants her gone and she’s telling Aaryn that Kaitlin’s going to win that VETO and take herself off. Aaryn tells her she doesn’t talk game anymore. What’s the point!

Everyone is wondering who the fuck will be the replacement nominee tomorrow. No one has a clue?

  • #271210

Elissa seems to have figured it out. Amanda went up to the HoH and announced that she had heard from somewhere that she was the target for the MVP. Everyone in the HoH – Andy, Judd and Kaitlin, went “WHAT?!” and seemed absolutely, genuinely shocked. Judd asked where she heard it from, she said it was just the “word on the streets.” Spencer came in, Amanda immediately got up and left, went downstairs, saw Elissa, gave her a look. Elissa followed her into the storage room and Amanda said “I heard I’m going to be the MVP target,” Elissa went “…why you?” Amanda asked her if she was MVP, Elissa said she wasn’t, and Amanda knows she wouldn’t lie to her. Amanda is trying to figure out why anyone would say she was a target. Elissa is trying to figure out who would nominate Amanda of all people – she suggests Aaryn or GinaMarie, Amanda says “Why?” Elissa says Kaitlin, Amanda says that still doesn’t make sense.

THEN, Elissa says “I bet they made America the MVP.” Amanda goes “…you think so?” Elissa says can you even imagine, they probably get to vote who the nominee is. Amanda says well then how would anyone know it’s me? Elissa says obviously someone was just being mouthy without any verification. They go to the kitchen, Kaitlin joins them. Incidentally, you can tell Jeremy is gone because Kaitlin has done nothing along the lines of basic grooming – her hair is messed up, she doesn’t look like she’s wearing makeup at all. Kaitlin talks with Elissa, asks if she’s MVP, Elissa says no – Amanda says she thinks it was just a rumor. Elissa tells Kaitlin she thinks America is going to be the MVP and they’re going to vote. Amanda asks Kaitlin and Elissa not to tell McCrae about what she heard, because he would seriously freak out.

Much, much later, Elissa and Helen are in the bedroom – they’re bunking together it looks like – and now they’re discussing who America might vote to evict. They’re also discussing how people are likely being portrayed on the broadcast and how that might affect America’s vote. They start pondering whether or not the comments by GinaMarie where she called them all cockroaches are going to be shown – and they’re laughing about it – then start talking about Howard and Candice, think they’re probably getting a sympathetic edit – fishes – Helen meekly says she didn’t know that was considered talking about production and apologies to BB.

Also, so far – everyone thinks Elissa is acting weird. Kaitlin thinks Helen is acting weird. Elissa thinks Kaitlin is acting weird. Apparently everyone thinks that everyone else is acting “weird,” which is making for a pretty quiet night on the feeds. There’s a bunch of people in the HOH (Spencer/Kaitlin/GM/Howard/Andy – not sure where Judd is at, if he’s there he’s being quiet) talking about random shit – oh wait, they’re discussing Elissa. Kaitlin calls her fembot and says she’s scary because she’s had too much plastic surgery, Spencer says Elissa has two holes in her back and wonders if it’s from lipo, GinaMarie says no it’s not from lipo.

Amanda and McCrae go up to the HoH – ah, Judd is apparently in the DR. Jessie is, of course, already sleeping – she’s never, EVER up late. Horrible gameplay, everyone KNOWS you stay up late if you want to catch all the plotting!

Kaitlin says don’t eat my Skittles (they are Judds), Andy gleefully tells them about a Skittles commercial that never aired with a woman having sex with a guy and when the guy reaches orgasm, Skittles come out. Kaitlin is disgusted. May swear off Skittles (NICE WORK ANDY WOO). Amanda goes back downstairs, McCrae stays upstairs, GM asks if they’re fighting, McCrae says uh, no – GM says she always gets worried that they’re fighting when they aren’t together. Kaitlin says the cameras are watching someone else because they haven’t moved in the HOH for 20 minutes. Spencer suggests maybe sleeping Jessie rolled over and “a tit popped out” – now they’re talking about Jessie’s clothing and how she’s always showing her nipples (uh…ooookay guys) – talking about Jessie freaking out week one, now we’re on fish. Probably Elissa/Helen said something they shouldn’t again, because the HOH sure isn’t saying anything interesting.

Hahahaha – talking about being woken up in the morning, Kaitlin said she was so mad when they got woken up early. Andy says it was super funny that they actually had to re-shoot the “WHO’S READY FOR THE FUNKIEST HAVE NOT COMPETITION EVER” because everyone’s response was to shuffle to the door, half-awake. He says he totally started screaming and overdoing it the second time. Kaitlin says she reacted exactly the same as the first time. Judd is on his way back upstairs, GinaMarie screams “OH MY GOD THAT IS CRAZY” before Judd comes in the door just to fuck with him. Judd goes for the Captain Crunch, Andy says the “ooops, all berries” version is such bullshit, because it’s not an OOPS, they obviously manufactured it that way. Kaitlin starts dissecting the font on the box and how it’s messed up.

Kaitlin mentions that Elissa said America will vote the third nominee. Judd says that’s what Elissa told him too. Judd said he asked her if she was sure, said she was acting funny about it every time he asked her about it.

McCrae and Amanda go outside. McCrae points out that Howard and Spencer are up in the HOH room still, and that Howard would usually be in bed by now – says that they are waiting Judd out, waiting for everyone else to leave. Amanda asks if he thinks Howard has MVP, McCrae says I don’t know. Amanda says she doesn’t think Kaitlin has it, just by Kaitlin’s reaction to the idea of Amanda going up on the block (which was one of sheer incredulous-ness, incidentally).

Ahhhh, apparently Aaryn told Amanda that Kaitlin said she was going up. Andy’s in the backyard now (surprise surprise). Andy says Elissa still says she doesn’t have MVP, but she’s been acting weird (seriously, everyone is saying everyone is acting weird) – they’re saying they’ll see tomorrow what happened.

Andy goes back upstairs to tell the HoH room goodnight, Judd goes down to talk to McCrae and Amanda – now it’s just Howard, Spencer and GM in the HOH room. Amanda and McCrae tell Judd that Aaryn told Amanda that Kaitlin said Amanda was going on the block – Judd asks if Aaryn’s MVP, Amanda says no way.

McCrae asks if Howard and Spencer are still in the HOH, Judd says yes, McCrae says they’re waiting you out to talk to you, tell them GM is going up if one of the girls comes off the block. Judd points out that he’s made a deal with GM, said that she keeps her mouth shut if she’s loyal to you. They are, I think, planning on putting up either Spencer or Howard if Aaryn or Kaitlin comes off the block.

Spencer is downstairs in the bathroom, followed Andy there – hahaha I think he’s trying to form a final three with him, Howard and Andy. Andy tells him he’s got his back and won’t vote him out if he’s on the block (I think Andy is just blowing smoke up Spencer’s ass really, he’s given this same line to just about anyone that’s come to him).

Spencer hangs in the kitchen, looks outside – I think he’s waiting for Judd to come back in. Judd says he thinks America’s voting, now they’re talking about who America would put up – GinaMarie, maybe Spencer (Judd says not Spencer, he’s a good guy and funny, little does he know).

Spencer’s back up in the HOH talking to GM with Howard. Talking about how McCrae is one of the safest guys in the house, even though he was in the MC. Saying that McCrae was the first to ditch them, and they are targets and he isn’t. GM says it sucks that they’re getting all the blame even though he was just as responsible. Ooo, now they’re talking about Amanda again, saying they don’t like her. Howard is still quietly saying she has to go. Judd comes back upstairs.

GM is back to talking about Nick (are we surprised), only now she’s pointing out that Nick was the closest thing they had to a split vote because everyone liked him. Complaining that she’s alone in the house and doesn’t really have anyone to talk to because Aaryn and Kaitlin are cool with people now but she still feels like she’s on the outs.

Amanda and McCrae were talking to Kaitlin in the bathroom – they told her Aaryn was the one that said that Kaitlin said Amanda was going up on the block. Kaitlin is -LIVID- about it. McCrae and Amanda go to bed, Kaitlin goes back upstairs and tells the HoH peeps (GM/Judd/Spencer/Howard) what happened. Says she can’t believe Aaryn would say that, especially when she’s up on the block. Doesn’t understand why Aaryn would try and throw her under the bus like that, to try and get on McCrae and Amanda’s good side? Judd says that Aaryn said something about how Judd was laughing at her – and FISHIES (dunno why!). Nobody really seems surprised that Aaryn was once again stirring up shit and just making up stuff.

I’m going to head to bed. But I think Aaryn just dug herself an incredibly deep hole and I don’t know if she’s going to be able to talk her way out of it. Everyone knows she was lying now, Amanda’s not happy about it, McCrae’s not happy about it, Kaitlin is PISSED about it and has said as much to Amanda and McCrae, GM doesn’t seem happy about it either. It might not matter WHO goes up as the MVP vote at this point.

I’m glad it is playing out this way. Now, hopefully the MVP nom will help set up next week’s power play. I hope it is Amanda since it may set up a rivalry between her and Helen which would make for an interesting few weeks.

Speaking of Helen, she’s been totally invisible. I’m not sure if it is by her design (making everyone get along and get Germy out) or because of all this stuff surrounding the MVP, but this seems to be one of the few times in this show when no one is thinking on targeting the HOH from the previous week.

#‎bb15‬ WTF who voted elissa the third nominee ????????????? Good job guys :-( if elissa gets voted out over Aaryn I’m not watching –

She must have put it on Twitter.

Anyhow, in the house, everyone thinks NOW that America did NOT vote for the MVP and that someone in the house put her up. Pizza Boy thinks that Elissa voted for herself. Aaryn says that now she’s really fucked and HAS to win the VETO or she’s going home for sure. No one in the house will vote Elissa or Kaitlin out.

HAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! so she’s the most loved and the most hated.

So basically what happened was Rachel fans were voting to make her MVP. Rachel haters were splitting their votes between the other house guest. Now Rachel haters all vote Elisa out and the Rachel fans split their votes among the house guest.

    SWEET!!!

I wish it was Amanda but Elissa will work also.

Amanda & Pizza Boy are the other two playing in the VETO competition today. They don’t want Elissa to win it and take herself off the block. They are of the mind that if she is the MVP and will replace herself with someone other than Howard. But they were saying earlier that they thought that Aaryn might be the MVP and was the one who put up Elissa. Either way, they want to be the ones who win the VETO today.

BB apparently didn’t tell them it was America who voted. Elissa even suggested that maybe Jeremy got to pick the MVP when he left.

    But first…

Let me just say a quick hello to everyone and say I’ve been a lurker for a few months, but this is my first post. =)

Ok, just wondering…since America voted for the 3rd nom (Elissa), if Elissa should happen to win the POV (highly doubtful, I’m sure) would America have to take another vote to replace her, or would Judd do it?

OMG! Helen is so awesome today. She has that knack. I wish she was my mom! Elissa was all upset that she is now no longer important in the house because she’s not the MVP. It was the only reason anyone kept her around and now she’s on the block and probably going home because no one needs her for anything anymore… wah wah wah… Well, leave it to Helen to turn that frown upside down! She just told Elissa that this is the best thing that could have happened to her. Now the pressure is off of her. She’s not going home. The house loves her. The target is off her back now and proves she’s NOT the MVP because you are on the block…. that’s good for her… and she has the votes to stay in the house. So why worry? She definitely has her & Candice. Candice agrees….and Pizza Boy and Judd, they love you too. Really this is the best thing to have happen to her right now. She doesn’t have to worry every week about being MVP and being a target. It’s open to everyone now. And if it Kaitlin or Aaryn goes off the block, she’s still not the one going home. She throws in that Rachel fought every single week she was in the BB house and she’s probably telling you right now to fight! She also tells her that if Kaitlin had anything to do with Elissa going on the block, she made a big mistake, because she had promised to do all she can to help keep Kaitlin in the house, but that’s all changed now. She’s going to make sure Elissa stays in this house NOW! She tells her she’s going to be just fine and to put on a poker face for now. She’s not going anywhere.

This is not what I was expecting, but it is shaping out to be a pretty entertaining situation. I think Classy nailed it into why is it that Elissa got nominated. I’m glad that it happened. I think that she was starting to act a little entitled about always being the MVP.

I’m also liking that they haven’t told anyone that America voted for the MVP. It is starting to create some fun paranoia. Since Aryan has been lying like crazy over the last day or so, I’m hoping that they all start pointing fingers at her and making her life miserable.

As for the voting a replacement MVP, I wonder when would they let the viewers know about that. The results of the veto comp wouldn’t be known until Wednesday night and it seems that that would be too little a turn-around time. I don’t see them changing the format of the show for this (like Chooch says, they always stick to what they know). My guess is that if Elissa comes off the block that the replacement nom would be whomever got 4th place. Hard to tell who that would be (Amanda maybe based on some of polls Chooch saw last night?).

Then again, they might have another vote, if anything so that the can make more money off the viewers. What is it $1 per vote up to 10 votes?

JimmyT, Judd was just talking about the replacement nomination with Helen and Elissa. He said if either one of them won the VETO, they should use it to take Elissa off the block, let everyone know they are going to use it, to possibly flush out the MVP. The VETO ceremony is always on Monday, so we live feed people will know then who the replacement nominee will be then, if the VETO is used.

Aaryn was walking thru the kitchen earlier and Elissa was standing there with some of the others and she said to her as she passed by: “I’m not stupid enough to put you up even if I got it.” Then she keeps on walking to the bathroom. Aaryn knows that no one is going to vote Elissa out of the house and the chances of them voting Kaitlin out are looking slim too. Her only hope is to win the VETO or have an even better target as a replacement nom, like Howard.

This is why I love Big Brother SO much. This is fucking beautiful.

Judd was doing his damndest to protect Aryan, because he felt like she would have his back in the future. He wasn’t happy about it though, because he just doesn’t like her. And then she spent the whole night stirring shit she didn’t have to, so now she’s everyone’s target again, and if Judd won the POV, I would be SHOCKED if he used it on her like he was originally planning to.

Meanwhile, now that Elissa is on the block, she’s going to have to earn her spot in the house without a MVP nomination to help her out. She’s going to have to win POV or scheme well enough that she finally has the respect of the others.

    LOVE IT.

As I was putting my votes toward Aryan Aaryn, I was thinking that for some reason TPTB wanted Elissa nominated and they were tricking all of us by making “us” the MVP nom this week. I wasn’t tricked, because I can read, but I’m not sure if that’s true of the majority of America sometimes, especially Brenchel fans. There’s probably a good deal of non-Brenchel fans out there that don’t like Elissa so their votes plus idiot Brenchel fans would get the Elissa nom in the bag.

And then I thought – nah, TPTB wouldn’t have dreamed that up. They used this to get Aryan Aaryn out of there without making it look like they were expelling her themselves. Whatever was I thinking?

Elissa is having a nervous breakdown wondering who put her up. She watched all last night who went in and out of that DR seeing who might have gotten that MVP because it certainly wasn’t her this time. She narrowed it down to Howard because he was in there the longest. the only other one in there for any length of time last night was Aaryn and she was called in at a moments notice. If it had been important, like getting the MVP, she wouldn’t have gone in there all grungy, she would have put on some make-up and looked presentable. So she jumps up Howard’s ass, telling him she knows he nominated her and how could he do that after she saved him last week! Everyone wanted him on the block, but NO, she wouldn’t do it, she put up Spencer instead and now he turns around and stabs her in the back and puts her up! He thinks she’s bat-shit crazy and tells her he was in the DR so long because they wanted to know why he sucked so bad at the last competition. Candice tries to intervene, saying that Aaryn doesn’t necessarily wear make-up all the time to do the DR sessions because she really doesn’t need it.. Wow! Burn! LOL! Howard thinks Elissa just needs to have fun during the competition and not worry. No one is voting her out. Just relax and don’t let them see you sweat… that’s what they want.

Before it went to trivia I was listening to the feeds while I did my dishes and I heard Pizza Boy tell Kaitlin that if he won the VETO he wasn’t going to use it. He wanted the nominations to stay the same so he didn’t have to worry about Amanda going on the block. He needed to protect her and himself. Kaitlin had told Judd earlier that she really wasn’t going to try and win the VETO, that she wasn’t actually going to throw the game, but she wasn’t worried about winning either. She didn’t want to come off the block and have to be one of the people to vote Aaryn out of the house. That’s just fucked up! These people need their pills taken away.

Amanda and Pizza Boy still think there’s some sort of power going to be sprung on them or that Elissa already has it. That’s why she’s on the block. Makes sense to me!

Okay, let’s look at this week… assuming nominations stay the same, Aryan is the target, Kaitlin is a pawn, and Elissa is MVP nom. Kaitlin will probably have zero votes, because the HGs only ever consider two nominees at a time. There will be nine votes total. If the vote split was 6-3, the person with six votes would be going home. But if a three-person alliance (say, Candice, Howard, Spencer) wanted to make waves in the house, they could secretly all cast their votes for Kaitlin. Aryan would most likely still go home, because Judd would cast a tiebreaking vote. But it would throw the house upside down, allowing them to control the chaos, and therefore, the house.

Oh my god I am laughing my ass off at all of this I AM SO GLAD THEY DIDN’T TELL THE HOUSEGUESTS AMERICA WAS THE MVP SO MUCH DELICIOUS CHAOS

So here’s my going theory about the twists this season. America was tired of floaters. Production decided to throw in the MVP twist. But this WASN’T TO GET RID OF THE FLOATERS. Because there was a part two to that twist, and it’s Elissa. Production knew, they HAD TO KNOW that Elissa, being the relative of a really well-known BB contestant, would auto-win MVP. There’s just no way around it. If they had really wanted MVP anonymous, they wouldn’t have put someone so completely obvious in there. Elissa was put there on purpose. So why would they do that?

Because the MVP twist wasn’t about getting RID of the floaters – it was about putting a very blatant advantage in the house of hamsters, and seeing who would recognize that advantage for what it was, and USE IT. It was another tool for players to use to try and get ahead in the game. Essentially, production threw the floaters a life-vest and cleverly used Rachel’s sister as that life-vest. If floaters were smart, they’d ally with Elissa and use that third nomination as a weapon.

Strong players, in the meantime, would likely get incredibly annoyed that someone came into the game and auto-won an advantage, and would attempt to take her out – leaving her and the floaters on a much more even playing field. They now have something to offer to players that want to flip – they have a guaranteed third nomination.

BUT – and here’s the fun part – the floaters had grown all-too complacent. They did what was expected and used Elissa’s nomination, successfully enough that they got three strong players – David, Nick, and Jeremy – booted out early. That’s all well and good, but if the floaters start resting on their laurels and assuming they still have all that power, well … that’s not entertaining television.

So flip the MVP nominee choice to America. After three weeks of Elissa winning and being expected to continue to win, it would throw the house into a panic. All the players that assumed they had the upper hand to survive in the form of Elissa and her nomination no longer have it. Elissa herself no longer has any value in the game. She hasn’t won any competitions or done anything remarkable other than act as a tool for the house to use.

So now we’re left with three things that have to happen. 1. Elissa needs to stand up and actually play her own game IF she wants to stay put. Maybe she does, maybe she doesn’t – she’s a mom, she likely misses her kids, the house hasn’t exactly been kind to her. 2. The floaters that have been clinging to Elissa for safety now have to do the work themselves. They don’t have a patsy that can sit there and continue to get the blood on their hands anymore. 3. Strong players now have a crystal-clear shot at getting out the one advantage the weaker players had – and given Elissa’s shaky value outside of her MVP nom powers, the weaker players might see an opportunity to get her out now as well, while they still can. Because if she stays, and that power is placed back in her hands, there may be no getting rid of her until the bitter end.

This is honestly a really interesting twist, one of the better ones that they’ve had – but you can’t look at the twist as just the MVP nom, you have to look at the twist as MVP nom + guaranteed MVP winner. Either which way, it’s making for some really entertaining scrambling as the hamsters try to figure out what’s going on.

I think the producers deciding to make “America” the MVP voters was the best idea they’ve had so far. It’s done what they’ve wanted the twist to do in the first place…. make the MVP vote a secret. Having Elissa the MVP week after week was such a bore and so predictable… and she told EVERYBODY! So, if in fact, they were going by viewer votes, it was definitely time to make a change. Now the house guests are going crazy trying to figure out who it is and who will go up when the VETO is used. It makes it a totally different game now. No one feels safe right now and that’s a good thing!

Elissa took a punishment, too: she can’t play in veto next week. Which only serves to make everyone even more paranoid. You see, Elissa IS MVP, she’s a production mole, she put herself up, all the high-point options were closest to her in the veto comp, AND she has coup d’etat, which is why she was cool with not playing veto next week. That’s the narrative right now. Elissa might as well put on a cape and start flying around, because they all think she’s a superhero.

Well… I just don’t know what they’ve done with Judd??? Spencer is hanging out in the Have-Not room and it looks like he’s in no hurry to go anywhere…. seems to be just chillin’… I’m perplexed. We’ve always been able to watch the torture of the one who’s been put in confinement…. unless they’ve secretly taken Judd someplace we don’t know about… expect the unexpected…. that was the DR he went into when we last saw him. Where could he go on a Saturday night in LA?

Judd was in DR that whole time, it seems he’s not allowed to talk to anyone – he goes straight to the cockpit – it seems that’s where his solitary is.

He’s got a little bathroom setup behind that curtain.

Judd yelled out to BB, “How do I flush the toilet?” I don’t know whether to laugh or cry for him! Maybe I should feel worse for the poor CBS intern that has to REMOVE that toilet when it’s all done…

Awwww… sometimes you find out who your true friends are.
They found out they’re allowed to talk to Judd through the door, so Andy, Helen, and Jessie come to say hi and keep him company. Also, he forgot his nicotine patches, so Jessie is going to find out if she can slide them to him under the door.

This Amanda thing has taken a life of its own, VERY quickly. Helen convinced Elissa, and now the two of them are convincing Jessie. Jessie confirms that Amanda has been telling everyone that Elissa used MVP on herself. They decide they need to keep it a secret from Andy, because he’s “brainwashed by them.” They also are certain she’s related to the Donatos, and she’s an actress.

Yay! Great coverage everyone! Things are getting better. Can’t wait to see Aaryn brunette. I’m enjoying the rampant paranoia as well. I enjoy Amanda’s diary rooms but her pushiness is becoming too much for me. I, too, can see her trying to completely steamroll our poor pizza boy. I’m hoping he realizes this and doesn’t pursue her after the show. Judd or PB for the win for me right now. Also, I think Howard’s tattoos and brands may be from jail or gangs or both when he was younger. It would explain the struggling Christian, ability to control temper because he knows what he’s capable of doing, and the fact that the tattoos are so faded like jail ones tend to do over time, not like I’d know or anything…

And I’ve been trying to figure out what “character” I’d be in the BB house but I don’t fit any really. I’m nice but blunt. I’m quiet but I speak up. I love people but I don’t trust them. I wouldn’t want to be a “Rachel” in competitions but I hate losing. Omg, I would be a floater!?! I have a feeling I’d do okay in the house. I like talking to people, I’m ridiculously chatty if you get me in the right mood, but I also like looking at not what people are saying, but what they aren’t saying and why they aren’t saying it. I don’t know if I’d fare too well in physical competitions though. Mental, puzzle or memorization? Sure thing. And I’d enjoy talking to the cameras when nobody was around – I miss that from this season, although Judd has given shoutouts to several different sites, which was nice, and McCrae has talked to the camera once or twice, too – I think he might do more of it as the house empties out. Do I think I could take the whole thing? Eh…not so much, not unless people in there were really, really dumb.

Plus the thought of being stuck in a half dozen rooms and a backyard with a bunch of strangers for three months is not the most appealing thing ever.

Amanda is seriously being bitten in the ass right now – Elissa is blabbing to Howard about how Amanda was demanding he go up last week, Kaitlin is saying Amanda keeps telling Aaryn she’s safe, Helen thinks Amanda is a liar, etcetcetc. If the situation doesn’t change drastically in the next few days, Amanda may be on her way out – although with Judd locked in solitary confinement, he can’t even participate in all this discussion unless someone talks to him under the door. In order to do that, they’d have to be in the main hallway.

Helen has a curfew of 8pm, so she can’t stay up late. If Amanda plays her cards right, she might stand a chance. I hope she doesn’t end up going – honestly, she’s one of the few people that’s actually entertaining to watch on the show itself.

The Amanda Hate-Gate is spreading… Elissa is now telling Howard about how she was approached by Amanda and PB last week and they were adamant that she make Howard her 3rd nominee and if she had the chance to make him the replacement nominee to do that when she put up Spencer instead of him. They were furious when she didn’t do what they told her to do. Elissa told them that Amanda says that Howard is always using the “race” card in his game play. She also said she is NOT the MVP this week. She says that Amanda is an actress, it’s her profession and she’s not to be believed. She’s good at her job. Howard excuses himself to go pray and Elissa swears that she’s not MVP again to Candice. She says that Amanda is trying to say she nominated herself. She says you can’t even do that! Candice tells her that “Yes you can!” and Elissa says how do you know that and Candice tells her that Judd asked and the DR said that the MVP can nominate themselves. Elissa says, “Are you sure?” and Candice says that yes it’s true.

Elissa & Candice go up to the HOH room to confront Amanda about her scheming and lies….

Candice is calling her out on the “race card” comment. She’s telling her that this week is personal and not to fuck with her and Howard this week. She has had to put up with all the Shaniqua talk, the black fish, the bed tossing, the token black and all that crap and she just wants Amanda to back off for this week. She wants Aaryn gone and when that happens then next week we will start a new week. She heard that Amanda was telling Aaryn she was safe this and was NOt going home and not to worry. Amanda wants to know who told her that. Candice tells her it doesn’t matter who told her that, but Aaryn is right outside the door and they can bring her in here right now and ask her if Amanda told her she was safe this week. Candice just wants her to know right now that she and Howard do NOT want some racist mean bitch to make it to the jury house. They need to go right now. Amanda wants to know if it was Gina Marie and Candice says it doesn’t matter who, it’s the fact that this was suppose to be an easy week and Aaryn was suppose to go. Candice says to fuck with us another week, just leave us alone this week. Amanda says “Wait! what are you saying… you think we are coming after you?” and Candice says “I’m not saying that at all, I don’t have any idea what is going on with you, I’m just saying that if you thought I was coming after McCrae that you’d come to me and discuss it.” Amanda wants to know when Aaryn told her she was safe and Candice said she didn’t tell me, it was an open statement she said in the kitchen. Candice is trying to not fight, she’s coming to let them know up front what she wants to happen and that this is important and personal. This is not battle time. Elissa swears again that she is not the MVP, something or someone else is responsible for this MVP nomination. Elissa asks if America put her on the block and they all said NO at the same time! They think it must be Jeremy.

Aaryn came into the HOH room all on her own and the first thing Amanda did was ask her if she told her she was safe this week. Aaryn told her no. she said “Everyone in this house is trying to frame me!” This girl really doesn’t understand what she’s done that makes her so disliked by everybody. She comes right out and asks them why they all want her out. Candice just totally pretends she didn’t just ask that question and starts to talk about Judd’s solitary confinement room. Then they start talking about the VETO competition. Aaryn said she started getting her numbers along the sides and they were high ones. Candice said that was where Elissa got her numbers too and that’s how she won. Pizza Boy again says he feels bad for winning the money. They all start talking about the MVP again. Elissa joins them and they try to figure out who might have it. they all agree that none of them have it. They come to the conclusion that one of the evicted houseguest could be the MVP.

Wow, I thought that something like this would happen but not so quickly. All the paranoia is making people realize that Amanda is pushy and a strong player. Helen is already starting to take advantage of it and having Elissa and some of her other people do her dirty work while she goes to be…love it!

The only potential problem is going to be Howard and Candice since they want Aryan out now instead of backdooring Amanda. But, I think Helen was already anticipating this problem since she’s been thinking of keeping Aryan around. My guess is that if Amanda goes this week, that Candice and Howard are going to become the next targets. This would be a great time for someone figure out and use the vote-split thing and mess with everyone even more.

    IT’S MCCRAE’S BIRTHDAY!

The boys went up to the HoH room where McCrae was hiding and held him down. At the stroke of midnight, in comes Amanda in a makeshift dominatrix outfit saying “I HEARD IT WAS SOMEBODY’S BIRTHDAY!” to everyone’s delight.

The guys pull up his shirt so she can give him 24 kisses on his chest, and then she has them hold him down on the bed so she can give him 24 spankings. …I think she enjoyed that part a little TOO much!

Everyone is laughing and counting with Amanda, when she’s all done they cheer and then start singing happy birthday to McCrae – FISH – they come back and Elissa (who is drunk by now), says it was a nice moment that they’ll never see because production probably cut it out for the singing (it’s okay Elissa, we saw the rest). Drunk Elissa then says production hates her and flips the camera off – sadly, none of the cameras were actually ON her at the moment because I would’ve loved a screencap of THAT one!

OKAY… so everyone was reallllly drunk (Except for Helen, who had her 8 PM curfew, and Judd, who is in solitary with an alarm that goes of every 9 minutes). Amanda decides she’s going to do something special for McCrae’s 24th birthday at midnight. She tried on a number of outfits, and finally settled on a dominatrix look.

Everyone helped out! Spencer, Howard, and Candice tied him up:

Then Amanda gave him 24 kisses on his stomach, followed by 24 lashes with a whip she fashioned out of household objects:

Afterwards, McCrae was a very happy 24-year-old:

Apparently – and this is weird – they’re saying Elissa knows way too much about production, that she knows the names of everyone in their, their wives, was mentioning where they worked, that’s why we kept getting fish. AND – now mind you this is Aaryn and GM saying this – they said the veto comp was rigged in her favor, that all the “big numbers” were in Elissa’s lane. Aaryn said she had to go into Elissa’s lane to get any number that was bigger than a 5. I don’t know what the PoV comp was exactly, they said something about blackjack, tiles, being in mud, so…uh, good luck guessing until they actually show it.

I’m not sure these HGs are ever going to get alcohol again as long as they’re in that house.

After Amanda’s sexy show, Elissa’s bitchy meltdown, and Amanda’s subsequent cryfest, we got more racial shit.

Spencer, in HoH, called Helen Kim Jong Un again (not the first time), asked out loud, “was that racist?” When his fellow HGs answered that it kinda was, he talked through it and decided it wasn’t.

GM, in the bathroom with Kaitlin, said about Candice, “I can’t stand that bitch. Howard don’t like your fucking fat, skanky ass. I’m so white, I’m so black, I don’t know what to be!”

So then Elissa cornered Kaitlin and Aryan in the bathroom, and asked lots of questions about Jeremy that they construed as rude, and like she was making fun of him, or something. Later on, after Elissa leaves, Aryan has a tantrum in the bathroom because “My blood is boiling.” Kaitlin thinks she’s referring to the Elissa conversation, and Aryan says, “No, it’s because anyone else can say anything in this house, including racial shit, but as soon as I say something, it’s misconstrued and I’m SICK OF IT. This is real shit, and it can fuck things up for me, even outside of this house.”

The others in the bathroom try to help out, Andy says that people watching live feeds will know the truth. Spencer offers that all Aryan has to do to make the rumors go away is give Howard a blowjob. (Sigh.) Aryan starts complaining about how “public figures only have to like, take a shit wrong or something, and suddenly they’re gay. If anyone ever asks me a question about being racist or something, I’ll just look at them and tell them to never ask me another question like that EVER AGAIN.”

God, please please PLEASE let Julie Chen ask her about it.

BTW, all this is going on with that stupid alarm going off in Judd’s solitary confinement – he’s been sleeping through it for hours.

But my take on GM is that she thinks she’s on Bad Girls Club, where this kind of talk is permitted, and she’s just been trying to keep up with Aryan Aaryn and Kaitlin and the others. GM’s more of the “trashy ho” type herself. She would have been awesome on Jersey Shore.

Okay well, it’s late, I can’t listen to Judd’s alarm constantly going off (I don’t know why so many HGs are hanging out in the bathroom tonight with that stupid alarm right next to them), McCrae and Amanda have been off the feeds ever since they kicked out the other HGs from HoH to have sexytimes, Candice and Howard are decompressing from the crazy day and getting ready for bed, and so I think I will too.

I’ll say goodnight with one final note: I finally saw a houseguest wash their hands WITH SOAP today! Kaitlin wins the award for being the only hamster with acceptable hygiene! Congratulations, Kaitlin!

OK, so here is my theory of what is going on with Elissa. Before the show started, Rachel probably gave her all this insider info on the production team so that the could try and be buddy buddy with them. This was probably part of a strategy to play with a much lower profile than Rachel and use those connections to get herself further in the game. When the show first started and she got all those MVP, everything was well. She felt confident that production had her back to the point that she wasn’t even scared of going up on the block. And, most HGs consulted her about game moves because they thought the MVP was a given.

With the MVP rule changes, she started feeling paranoid that the other storylines were pushing her to the side. Even though it seems like production tried to help her out with the POV, she started to think that they don’t want to deal with her anymore. She probably then over-compensated and started using all the insider personal info on the production team to try to get back in their good graces. In the process she reinforced all the paranoia that the HGs have that she is a production plant. Meanwhile, production started getting nervous that all her talk about them to the HGs and on camera could out them for behind-the-scenes manipulation so they started scolding her.

Now, things are falling apart for her: 1) The HGs are getting even more paranoid about her insider position; 2) because of this week’s MVP rule change, they no longer see her as an important asset; 3) production is also annoyed with her. As Itchy pointed out, all that stuff combined with the alcohol has started to penetrate all those protective layers of medication she has been under and we are beginning to see the Riley gene starting to come out.

I’m sure there will be more crying, tantrums when things are going bad for her and the obnoxious gloating when she is feeling good. Its going to be good, but hopefully it won’t get in the way of all the other great stuff that has been unfolding for the last few days.

You know how much it would cost for the show to use “Happy birthday?” A whopping $1500. That’s all. If the show’s producers had any smarts, they would have Betty Crocker sponsor a quick moment so they could show the celebration.

I’m not going to spend the day in the BB house. I have to take my truck to get it fixed… so I’m going to actually LEAVE my house!

Just so you all know, Andy has figured out for sure that America is the MVP. He told Helen and Jessie that this morning. Being the only real BB fan, Andy says that he thinks as a viewer, if he was watching and Elissa continually got MVP “I would vote to nominate her.” He says, “For every 1 Rachel fan, there are 2 that hate her.” See, he knows what he’s talking about!

Helen has been trying to convince him that Amanda & PB are evil and he needs to dis-associate himself from them. she tries to say that the house has turned against them and they are planning to get rid of Amanda. Andy is reluctant to do that. he says they have done nothing to make him not trust them. Helen tells him it’s not so much Pizza Boy, but it’s Amanda they are after. She never says that she’s involved in this witch hunt. She tells him that it’s Aaryn this week and then they are going after Amanda next. Her and Andy need to do what’s best for them. They talk about the fight with Elissa and Amanda last night. Helen was in bed, so knew nothing about it. Andy says Amanda overreacted. Helen tells him that the 2 of them need to stay out of it … far, far, away from it.

Another thing… Helen got up at the crack of dawn to a pig sty… she cleaned the whole house. Then she told Judd to make sure he washed his sheets before he lays on that HOH bed again!

When Elissa got up, she made the remark to Helen how much cleaner the place was now that Jeremy was gone…. Helen looked at her and said “I’ve just finished cleaning everything!” Elissa went to tell Judd that the DR told her to tell him that he has to turn off the alarm when it beeps. Judd slept right thru the beeping all night long and it beeped continually, making BB crazy, not Judd! Judd said they may as well just unhook it cuz it doesn’t bother him at all. He told Elissa that Amanda was crying in the bathroom last night. she asked him why and he said he couldn’t here why. She said she wondered what upset her so bad? They were having fun last night.

    If there’s anything else I forget…

Anyone know anything about Adderal? I’ve had two people in my life, both heavy drinkers, get on Addie (sigh) and mix the two to awful results. Both of their lives spiraled out of control, they stopped caring about anything and everything. ONe ended up divorced and living with a guy with no job who had to blow clean (no alcohol) to drive. The other is in AA and trying desperately to stay clean. I do think he’s still on meds tho.

I know one other person who’s on Adderal, but he doesn’t drink, so I guess it’s ok with him.

I’m personally concerned that this over medicated society we live in is removing too much empathy from us, especially kids. Its like their education ends, and they’re already addicts.

Anyhoo, would love to hear what you all think, as always, I love a spirited debate.

thank you all so much for all the coverage, it’s so nice to have this distraction!!! xoxo

My daughter’s boyfriend takes it for his ADHD (attention deficit hyper disorder) to help him stay focused and alert. He says it kinda like speed to him. If you over medicate, it can kill you. He doesn’t take it half the time and instead sells it for big bucks because it’s a huge money maker on the street.

Seems like half of my nephews and nieces are on something or other. It’s a weird thing. One nephew clearly needed something, at least when he was a kid, he was pretty much over the top. But then, I was a hyperactive kid, but my mother refused to put me on meds (they were pretty new back then) and I’m glad she did. But still, I was hard to handle, for the other kids and the teachers, which probably made life a lot more difficult for me. It’s hard to know.

I wonder about adults taking this shit though.

  • #271500

Jumping in here: I had three different docs tell me I should try Adderall because I had every major indicator for severe adult ADHD. I spent years refusing it because there’s so much judgmental shit out there about adults who take this stuff and how it’s just legal speed and all that. I totally believed it and talked all sorts of shit too. Then I finally caved when I started having really bad anxiety attacks and my GP told me that if ADHD was actually what was wrong, that treating it would help with everything else as well.

I’ve been taking a low-dose of Adderall daily for the past five years, and the difference it has made in my life is unreal. I’m better in social situations and my anxiety level is much lower and I can sit down to do something and just get it done without feeling like I’m going to burst into tears of frustration because it’s taking so damn long. People with ADD are operating on a much lower base level of dopamine in the brain. Dopamine is a huge part of the reward center, and not having enough of it makes you prone to bounce all over the place because your brain isn’t rewarding you for following anything through to completion. Kids that take it as a study aid or overperform are essentially fixing something that isn’t wrong, and thus flooding their brains with extra dopamine they don’t actually need.

I’ve never gone asking for a higher dose. I actually had my doc lower my dose about two years ago because I felt like I could function with less. While overmedication is certainly a problem these day, there are plenty of people like me who take Adderall because it means being able to function on the SAME level as everyone else. Not some higher one. I don’t drink heavily or frequently, but I do drink. The only danger I’ve found with Adderall and alcohol as a combo is that you can drink a lot more without passing out or blacking out, so if you’re prone to drinking until you drop, then the combo could kill you.

I don’t think Elissa is on Adderall or any uppers at all. I’ve known plenty of junkies in my life and Elissa looks to me like she’s hitting the Benzo’s hard. Either that or painkillers, but considering she hasn’t mentioned any pain conditions that would warrant being jacked up on Oxy’s all day, my money’s on something like Xanax. Mixing downers like Xanax with alcohol has a severe potentiating effect. One glass of wine if you’re already on a cocktail of Benzo’s is more than enough to send you into sloppy drunk territory. And if she is on opiate pain-killers, I speak from experience (dated a Percocet addict for a while) and opiates, especially mixed with booze, can make people MEAN. Not like normal mean girl mean, but like look you dead in the eyes and tell you with zero emotion everything they think is wrong with you and how you should go kill yourself.

Anyway, sorry for the pharmaceuticals lesson. Back to lurking for me.

Hey guys! Time to do some catching up!

So after last night’s drama, Elissa basically made Amanda apologize to HER to make the tension go away, and then spent the entire day telling everyone how she NEVER talks about Aaryn, Kaitlin, and GM. I guess we can add Elissa to the list of this year’s HGs that don’t understand irony.

Meanwhile, everyone else seems to have calmed down from “Amanda’s the evil MVP controlling the house” narrative, except for Helen, who is still heavily pushing the idea, but it’s not getting her as far as it got her yesterday. Candice still doesn’t trust Amanda though, because she’s pretty sure (and she’s right) that Amanda is the main person trying to get Howard out of the house. Of course, Helen is the one she complains to about this, and Helen was totally complicit in the whole plan to evict Howard. But for now, Amanda’s eviction isn’t as high on Candice’s priority list as Aryan’s eviction.

Also, there was some kind of he said/she said drama between Howard and Kaitlin, of all people.

Judd made it out of solitary! Most of the HGs were there to cheer him on, and they saved a beer for him from last night, which he started drinking immediately.

Still no veto ceremony, so we still don’t know who the replacement nominee is. Tonight, Amanda and McCrae are planning a birthday dinner date, and I think McCrae might finally give Amanda that ring he made for her.

Adderal and other ADD drugs can be very good for people who actually have the need, but there are plenty of other who just abuse it. I’ve had a couple of friends and went on it as adults and it worked great for them. One other friend, didn’t do so well, it worked fine for a few months but eventually stared getting panic attacks and suicidal thoughts so he went off it. He tried a couple of other ones but the same thing happened so he is now looking at alternatives with no meds.

The bigger problem is the abuse by those who don’t need it. I used to teach at a fancy college and a few of my students told me that they could get crib sheets that told them how to answer the long questionnaires that psychiatrist gave them to figure out if you had ADHD so that you could get your own prescription. Kids who were on prescription also often would have their meds stolen from their room, especially before finals. There was a whole culture of grinding the pills into a powder and the snorting them, supposedly to make the effect more intense so that it would help you cram before an exam or big paper. The funny thing is, that the couple of good students that I knew and who admitted to having tried that said that it did more harm than good when it came to papers. They felt that it tended to over-focus them on small details in an obsessive sort of way and lost their ability to see the big picture. They could crank out a paper quickly but often got mediocre grades because they were long but totally rambling and at times incoherent.

Spencer let McManda know that Amanda’s name is getting floated around and the house is turning against her. Amanda’s having a quiet freakout over this, and asks Spencer why it’s just her and not McCrae too – Spencer told her that the house views McCrae as being carried by her. When Amanda and McCrae are alone, she actually tells him that she doesn’t particularly like Aryan, but at least she trusts her, because Aryan always tells her the truth, unlike some of the people they’re allied with.

McCrae tells Helen that they’re hearing Amanda’s name floated and Helen, says “As long as we all stay together, it should never be a problem! We have the votes to protect all of us!” (Helen is the one who started the anti-Amanda campaign.) McCrae asks Helen to tell him as soon as she hears anything against Amanda so that they can work to neutralize the threat.

I have to chime in here about the Adderall. My son who is now 20 has Asberger’s and ADHD. We were adamant not to put in on anything and his school life was hellish. Finally in 5th grade we tried Ritalin then we switched to Adderall in middle school and through high school. The effect was that it calmed him down completely and allowed him to focus. We tried different dosages as he grew, usually less. He went off it completely as an adult because he felt like it “dragged him down” kind of like a fog. But while he was in school it helped so much.

Here’s the interesting thing – he deliberatly will drink caffeine and it has the same effect. Instead of hyping him up like everyone else, coffee or coke slows him down.

It’s ridiculous to think adults are abusing it – how stupid. I heard that a lot of girls like it because it’s an appetite suppressant (which is definitely one of the side effects).

Anyway – what a great couple of days I had to catch up on!

Amanda decides it’s going to be a Jewish wedding, and then when she’s not in the room, Elissa decides she is officially the wedding planner, Andy will officiate, and Judd will be Best Man. Candice names herself dress designer.

And then GM was in the backyard bitching about how McManda are allowed to be together, but they have to break up everyone ELSE’S relationships. Even Kaitlin rolls her eyes at that one, and she and Jeremy were the next couple in line in terms of closeness.

But the award for the BEST GinaMarie joke goes to Judd, who said to Amanda, “If [your boyfriend at home] isn’t your ex-boyfriend by now, him and GinaMarie should definitely hook up.”

I’m thinking that Aaryn doesn’t actually have to dye her hair – I think she made an offhand comment about how her hair was going to be brown just because of the mud they had to slog through in the PoV comp. Which is a MAJOR BUMMER if that’s the case – but if she had to dye her hair, they would’ve made her do it by now, since Judd and Helen are both doing their punishments already.

I’ve noticed that about Judd. Aryan is putting her best pretty/mean girl moves and doesn’t even have to try very hard. He is probably a little insecure and figured that a girl that looks at her would not give him the time of day. Now she keeps coming around asking for help and advice and he is doesn’t even realize that he is being played. It is sad too, if she doesn’t get voted out this week she is probably just going to ignore him like he never existed next week. He’ll be crushed and by then will probably have screwed things up with Jessie (well maybe not, Jessie has been pretty desperate for a showmance and she would gladly overlook Judd straying if it mean to having to settle for Spencer).

Yes, Helen is a bit like Dan, but minus the sleazy emotional manipulation (at least for now). Towards the end of last season there were so many people pissed off at him that his plan backfired and Ian got the win. Helen seems to be following a less aggressive strategy and if she pulls it off to the end, she will probably get everyone’s vote. I can’t wait for her to be exposed and how she deals with it, but I’m willing to wait a while. I think it can get tedious if it become all about her too soon.

Last year I avoided reading live feeds for the most part because I like to cap as I watch the episode for the first time, so knowing what’s going to happen kinda cramps my style. This season there was just too much going on that was getting talked about non-stop but not getting aired, so I decided I should really keep on top of it. But I don’t actually have the live feeds or anything, so I’ll just be here throwing in my two-cents and not actually contributing to the arduous task of watching these idiots live 24/7.

If you’ve seen that rap video Kaitlin was in, she’s clearly not racist. Or a homophobe. She’s just a party girl — nothing wrong with that at her age. I think she just fell in with the wrong people at the start. Certainly she realizes what a twit Aaryn and GM are. It’s a bit harder to accept her snuggling up with that asshat. But she’s not exactly weeping now that he’s gone.

I don’t have the live feeds either — I’m not in the States after all. I depend on the good graces of people here. This year I’m a little more obsessed than usual, though. I’m actually reading Joker’s too (I’ve always like Hamsterwatch).

Just because you appear in a rap video doesn’t mean that you are not racist. There are plenty of different types of people who will make an exception to their beliefs for prospect money or celebrity. Having said that, Kaitlin does seem to be a party girl with a mean streak that is more a follower than a leader. She gravitated to the group that she thought seem like the most popular/powerful, latched herself onto the alpha male and assumed the role of submissive female, doing what he and the rest of the group did to get herself further in the game. The more I her Germy talk about her in interviews and the more she seems totally indifferent to him being gone, the more I’m convinced that she played him. Had the cast been different or the first few days played out differently she probably would have latched onto someone else.

It’s ironic that Aaryn, who claims to yearn to be submissive to a male, is anything but.

Veto ceremony happened – Elissa, not surprisingly, took herself off the block. GM was put up as the replacement nominee. So now they get to choose between Aaryn, Kaitlin and GM. GM is being all loud and obnoxious and talking about how ‘she ain’t scared,’ etcetcetc

The VETO ceremony was just finished being held and Gina-Marie is the MVP replacement nominee now on block since Elissa took herself off the block. GM says all the beautiful girls are all sitting together on the block.

So, the way it stands right now – Candice wants Aaryn to go home, I believe Elissa is of the same opinion. Jessie wanted Kaitlin gone, I know she was gunning for her pretty hard at the onset because of the whole bed thing. Judd wants GM gone, but he did make a deal with her. Amanda and McCrae both seemed to think Kaitlin would be best to send home because Aaryn has pretty much nobody in the house so she’ll do what people tell her to do – she can’t make an alliance to save her life. Either way, it looks like one of the “mean girls” are going home.

Also, Elissa looked at a camera and said “Please don’t let them do that again, that was ridiculous,” making me think either they told them that America was the MVP, or someone in production told Elissa that America was the MVP – or that Elissa finally believes what Andy’s been saying all along that America is the MVP.

At the moment, I have no idea who the hell is going home but at this point I don’t really care one way or another, I don’t like any of the people on the block anyway!

Hard to tell which was is going to go. Sure Aryan is the obvious choice, but I seems that people are beginning to realize that Kaitlin can be dangerous and she might go first. Then again, if GM continues with all her meltdowns and weirdness, they might not be able to take it.

I’m still thinking it’s going to come down to Aaryn and Kaitlin – people are worried about Kaitlin because she’s come REALLY CLOSE to winning the HoH comps quite a few times now, and it’s only a matter of time before she wins one. She’s a way stronger player than Aaryn or GM (unless there is froyo involved in which case GM is a goddamned beast). Helen is even talking about getting Kaitlin out – funny part, she’s talking about it separately from Mc/Amanda. If they all just sat down and talked together I suspect they’d realize their goals are still the same – for this week, anyway.

Honestly once they get the “mean girls” out, they’re going to start devouring each other, and THAT is going to be really entertaining. Right now, weirdly enough, the person standing out the most in my mind is Andy of all people – he’s making friends. All over the place. He’s listening to everyone. He’s not hiding the fact that people are approaching him for alliances – he’ll mention it to anyone, then laugh in a “isn’t that silly” kind of way. I cannot peg who he’s actually seriously aligned with right now – and I don’t think he really IS aligned with anyone right now, he’s just covering his bases on both sides.

But he’s doing a pretty ingenious job of doing it. Nobody hates Andy. Nobody’s looking at Andy as a target. He’s not stirring up trouble, he’s not making waves. He’s being a very friendly, caring non-entity, and if he starts winning some comps, he could go really far.

I think that the differences between Andy and Spencer are very interesting. From the start they were both talking to everyone and trying to be friends with everyone. It has worked far better for Andy though which is pretty amazing since he is doing it all more or less in the open. I guess when everyone is super paranoid and vigilant of people being sneaky, they all miss the guy out in plain sight.

By the way, does the fact that GM was nominated mean that she was next in line in America’s vote? I guess that makes sense but I’m a little surprised that it wasn’t Amanda.

  • #271661

    Whatwhat
    Participant

Yes, it definitely means she was next in line. So I’m guessing the votes were Aaryn/Kaitlin/Elissa/GM or something along those lines. I’m pretty sure the outcry for getting Aaryn and Kaitlin would be pretty big given their involvement in Bedgate, along with GM – but there are just as many Elissa haters out there, probably more than Elissa fans.

Amanda was not on anyone’s radar last week – her commentary on the show was pretty glib and funny, plus they showed the McManda showmance and interviewed parents of both parties. Most of these voters aren’t seeing what we see on the feeds – they’re just seeing what’s on the show. Amanda hasn’t really gotten a terrible edit, although last episode they were talking about her being controlling. But that was after the MVP vote had already been taken and counted.

  • #271664

    Whatwhat

Actually…thinking on it, I wouldn’t be surprised if the order was Elissa/Aaryn/Kaitlin/GM. Mostly because I think part of the Brenchel army was REALLY DUMB and just blind voted for Elissa because they thought it was yet another MVP vote without actually READING what the page said. The people who don’t like Elissa are voting for other people, and their votes are split between the remaining houseguests. However, if given the opportunity to get Elissa out, suddenly all those split votes are concentrated on one target. Aaryn/Kaitlin/GM are all no-brainers given their portrayal on the broadcast shows in the past week. Everyone else probably came in somewhere underneath that.

YES, WW – you’re right. Those Elissa votes were dumbass Brenchel fans who didn’t understand what they were voting for. The result in the house is that every houseguest is now fully convinced that Elisa self-nominated and then replaced herself with GM. They truly don’t believe America would ever nominate GM, so even those that caught on the the fact that we were MVP have now convinced themselves otherwise. And they’re now worried about what the twist is going to be – they don’t realize it’s over.

To be fair, Elissa is 29. But she apparently thinks her shit doesn’t stink, and frankly, I’m sick to death of her.

Maybe I’m wrong, but I don’t think Kaitlin would be on America’s radar as someone they wanted to get rid of… without Jeremy, she barely would have any screentime at this point. And how could broadcast-only viewers hate her when feed watchers can’t even muster any hate for her? Maybe in some other season, but there are much more polarizing figures than Kaitlin this season.

The point about Amanda not being seen as controlling in the broadcast is a good one. I was really nervous that she was going to be put up, because I love her, but I know how much other people don’t like her.

So btw there’s a new campaign in the house to get rid of Kaitlin for being a threat… stay tuned.

I like your theory about the Boofles Army not noticing who to vote for. There’s definitely more haters than lovers of those two. Actually, it would be even funnier if before the season started Brandon got some of his supposed scientist friends to write a bunch of web bots to automatically vote for Elissa and they totally threw her under the bus when the rules changed.

Spencer and Howard were playing pool the other night and Elissa came out, Spencer started talking to her about faith and religion and how he’s really spiritual but he hasn’t been in the house and he was wondering if she would like to get together and pray at some point and Elissa was all “Sure! That would be awesome” and after she left Spencer looks at Howard, Howard looks at Spencer and says something along the lines of “That was perfect”

I was really disappointed with the show this Sunday. Instead of showing Gina Marie for the horrible racist that she is, even worse than Aaryn at times IMO, they do a clip of her as this crazy “Jersey Girl” who mangles the English language! Geez, why didn’t they include the ‘nigger insurance” into that clip? Let’s face it, CBS is thrilled that their ratings has shot right up and they are now winning their time-slot every night they air because they’ve decided to embrace the racism in the house BUT since the did, they’ve gone back to showing us the same old shit they always have! …..Even though the bullshit is still going on, especially with Gina Marie and SPENCER! It’s the perfect time for them to get real about some real things and a great opportunity for BB to make some changes. But , they just aren’t going to do it. The TV show is NEVER going to show what really happens on the live feeds. I remember one of the houseguests saying the first or second week in the house, when one of the others was explaining the live feeds to them, I think it was Andy explaining them to Aaryn. He was telling her that the people watching on the internet could see everything that they, the houseguests, were doing in the house 24/7 and she looked at him and said “Then what is the point of having the TV show?”

on the central casting thought, the other day on AD, Aaryn was plucking Kaitlin’s eyebrows, and they were chatting. Rather intense looks on A’s face digging in. The way K was talking, made me totally think this was an acting gig for them. Something like, “I can’t believe I’m stuck here in this house with these people” Doesn’t sound like someone in it to win it . . . I wont be surprised if Howard, Candice and Amanda are all plants.

It’s still neat to watch 2 nekked and afraid folks that have to tolerate one another and 21 days without Jeff Probst, Mark Burnett, and a food reward every other day. I also love, love, love the things folks pick as their “luxury” item. One of my favs happened recently when the gal brought a machete and the guy brought….goggles. To a place that had only shallow water. I could tell he was kinda embarassed by his choice after I saw him pick up a stick and flail at the brush saying ” I don’t need no Machete” :-)

They must tell the people what the other person is bringing, or else I think it would be two machetes every time. I also think they at least tell the people what area of the world they will be in, or at least what climate. Otherwise, why would the guy with the goggles bring those if he could end up in the desert and why would the lady in the Sahara bring a cook pot?

So when central casting people give job descriptions on reality shows, are those just flat-out lies? Or do most of these “actors” have other jobs they work full-time, but they do acting/modeling gigs when they can get them?

While I don’t watch the feeds, I don’t think Amanda is an actress. I do think she’s on the show to build clients for her business. Real estate is a tough industry, so anything you can do to get ahead is welcome. I still question if her interest in PB is genuine.

It’s sad that our interests are in another show and not what’s happening in the BB house today. I have turned on the feeds twice and it’s been a huge bore!

Once it was just Howard & Candice on all 4 feeds and when the 2 of them talk it’s a real snooze-fest. Candice just wants Howard to keep his mouth shut about the stuff she tells him. She doesn’t want him running to Spencer and telling him everything she says. He tells her he’d never do that. They both talk about Helen’s new dislike for Amanda. She likes Pizza Boy but not Amanda where as Elissa seems to be getting along with her now. Jessie came in to talk to them and tells them she wants someone to cuddle with like they do. They tell her that Judd is a southern boy and he probably hasn’t been around women like her, strong-willed, and he just doesn’t know how to act around her. Jessie acts like she’s not really interested in having a cuddle-fest with Judd, but doesn’t come out and say so.

It’s mostly been a back and forth over who the fuck the MVP is! Everyone one has been considered the MVP at one point or another. One thing is for sure, the tide was shifting towards Kaitlin as the evictee and that she is the MVP because America felt bad that she lost Jeremy…. that is until someone realized that America wouldn’t have enough time to vote her MVP after he was evicted. Elissa spent half the day going from “America still loves me” to “America HATES me!”… last I knew, she thinks they hate her. Aaryn, on the other hand, is starting to campaign to stay in the house. When she found out that Gina Marie was told that she was totally safe and NOT going home, then she said it was time to get some votes. She went to Judd. He told her he was personally trying to keep her in the house and they started to count votes in her favor. Jessie, Helen and him, so that’s 3 right there. She tells him: “If I stay here, and say you vote Kaitlin out, you don’t have to tell people. You can say you voted me out. I’m kind of in the bottom of the barrel here. Anyone who’s loyal to me, I will be loyal to them for the rest of the time.”
Later she works on Spencer & Howard, asking them not to tell Candice that she talked to them. She asks them that if the majority of the house will vote to keep her, will they vote that way too? They say that they do what is best for them. Spencer says that they are walking around with a huge Scarlet letter on their chest anyways because of the MC scandal, so everyone thinks they’re shady anyways. Howard tells her they were all pissed off at him for training her in the backyard. “I ain’t no punk! I’ll train you the next day and again. I’m not going to kiss their ass because supposedly they have a power!”
After she left, Howard told Spencer he should be a detective and Spencer said maybe he should be Batman, the Dark Knight and Howard could be Robert Downey Jr’s Ironman. Howard reminds Spencer of one thing: “If it’s the final 2, I take you over Candice any day. I promised you that day 1.”

It looks like Candice isn’t going to be too happy with this week’s eviction … Helen has finally convinced Elissa that Kaitlin is a bigger, more dangerous target due to her winning things. Mc/Amanda are already wanting Kaitlin out. Judd wants Kaitlin out. Jessie wants Kaitlin out. That’s six votes right there, and Howard/Spencer seem to be convinced too, along with Andy.

Unless Aaryn does something REALLY HORRIBLE the next couple of days, she’s going to be in the house for another week.

…unless it’s a double eviction in which case they might take the opportunity to swipe her out then, or possibly Howard if the opportunity presents itself.

I’m enjoying how Aaryn has obviously been given instructions by the producers to tone down her racist bullshit and how she keeps grumbling about that. Any minute now she’s going to break out into song: “I got to be meeeeee!!!!!”

But with Jeremy the Asshat out, and Spencer acting like a scolded puppy with worms, and GM being exposed as an utter moron, Aryan just seems less… I dunno… threatening?

When it seemed like she was part of a gang/klan, it was disturbing. Now she’s more like a chihahua. Still nasty, but kind of laughable.

Also, didn’t Howard admit on the feeds that the producers forced him to play Bible-Thumper Guy? He said he came in wanting the play the Asshole Asshat character, but Jeremy got that role –because he’s a much more natural fit for that. Howard’s just too dumb.

I think Howard’s working on going for the double role. Now that Asshat Jeremy is out, he can be the Bible Dude AND the Asshole.

But yeah, I don’t think he’s (or Candice) are using race as a strategy. But the producers definitely scrambled to protect Howard at the height of the racism thing.

And another thing… I think if you scratch the surface of pretty much any reality show cast these days, you’ll find that most of them have either already been on a reality television show, or at least auditioned for enough show to get noticed as a potential candidate. And the rest of them are all struggling actors/performers of some sort trying to get noticed.

It makes sense. Who else can take off that much time from their jobs? Maybe at the beginning of the reality show phenomenon they used real people. But at this point, they’re all professionals at this. Which is probably why casting has skewed so young.

And I think a lot of the professions they give to people are things they used to be, before they started reality-acting full time.

I’m not saying they’re pretending to be someone else, like real actors (although I imagine that might happen sometimes), just that they’re playing the role of “themselves” for the camera.

And it seems like a lot of these people try out for multiple reality shows. I’m guessing there are a limited number of casting agents specialized in stocking these types of programs, so certain characters tend to get recognized — and ultimately cast on one show or another.

So it’s not as if most or any of these people are random people who spontaneously decided to try out for Big Brothers. Even the so-called “superfans” are known entities. McCrae is apparently linked to Hamsterwatch, for example). Candice was already on a show about her adoptive mom. And Elissa was on Anderson cooper. Nick was with that fish-lipped designer daughter woman.

I’m sure someone can dig up the bit where Howard’s speaking about being “assigned” the bible-thumper role.

None of this takes away the fun of these shows (for me). But I think it’s good to be aware of the “realities” behind reality tv.

Nasty Chihuahua is a good description, Itchy.

Aryan has become irrelevant not only because the producers are on her to tone her down, but because she’s lost her little group of lackeys. Those hanger-ons are really the ones that give mean girls like her their power. Once Germy and David went away and the other mean girls started to realize that they should not be associated with her, she lost all of her influence. For a little while there, she didn’t go down without a fight and kept blaming everyone else, but by now she just wants out…which is why won’t be disappointed if she sticks around while longer.

Here is what you read Itchy, but I never heard Howard say it on the feeds. If he did, it would have been that first week in the house.

    http://www.jokersupdates.com/jarticles/2338-bb15-david-girton-interview?page=2

    From Jokers:

David: Oh, not at all I was just playing that card, the dumb card cuz I didn’t want them to know how I really am. I’m a pretty smart cat & I knew how to act the dingbat cuz I have long blonde hair & I’m a surfer so why not play the dumb card?

BB Evers: Yes but, you played it almost too well!

[This semi-confirms my suspicion that the BB houseguests no longer go in as themselves but are given a scripted “performance” to make them act a certain way. Howard has talked on the feeds about planning to be Jeremy’s outspoken loud persona but “they” said he should play the bible dude.]

Helen was already working the “Save Aaryn” campaign first thing this morning. She told Jessie that maybe they should tell Aaryn that if they save her, she needs to step up and be a have-not for the next week. Jessie told her that with her luck, she’d probably win the HOH then. Helen then went to Judd to convince him not to tell his buddies, Spencer & Howard, that they have made a deal with Aaryn… that she’ll put those two up if she wins HOH, in return for her safety. I guess that means him & her plus Jessie, Andy, Amanda & Pizza Boy. (or if they change their minds- Haha- whoever they want on the block). Judd just has to make them see that it’s a better idea to get rid of Kaitlin because she’s a stronger competitor and smarter. Judd is not wanting to do this because he’s in an alliance with these guys.

When Judd & Andy talk later, Andy says he’ll just tell Howard & Spencer that Amanda wants Aaryn out sooo bad she can’t stand it and that will do it. Those two guys can’t stand Amanda and will do the opposite of what she wants, so they will vote out Kaitlin to spite her. LOL! Such strategy! They both talk about getting rid of Howard next week if they can and their growing mistrust of Helen. They both prefer Elissa over Helen, but she wants an all-girl ending. They think they can make it to the end with Amanda and Pizza Boy, but decide that today they will work on Spencer & Howard voting out Kaitlin.

I watch the feeds, mostly in the morning and that’s when Howard does his praying. I have to say that I don’t think he’s faking that at all. He REALLY gets into it and it goes on for about an hour. He does the out loud praying and he knows all the verses and someone who is just pretending to be the “Bible dude” doesn’t know that shit like he does. He also opens the Bible and reads for awhile too. I don’t think his faith is fake. But I do think he believes he’s playing with “clean” hands now and he’s not at all. he’s arrogant when it comes to his BB game-play. Actually he’s kinda stupid! I swear he doesn’t realize that these people talk to each other. Spencer does the most talking and he’s his buddy!

It wouldn’t make sense for producers to randomly assign roles to the HG. Rather, they probably talk them into emphasize one of the qualities/personality traits that they already have. David is a dumbass so he was asked to play a dumbass (and further confirmed this by thinking that the reason why he was being asked to play that part was because he was really smart in real life). The same with Germy (the smelled douchebag all over him and told him “hey, we think that you could make some great TV if you played the alpha male”).

Howard is a former football player and clearly has an ego and a high opinion of himself so arrogant alpha male would have been a good choice for him. But he probably also talked about being a Christian and TPTB then probably said something along the lines of “it would be for America to see a good and decent Christian man on the screen” and got him to play that role. I think this also explains why he keeps talking about his conscience and doing the right thing all the time. He may genuinely believe that, even though it is at times at odds with the things that he says and does, but more importantly he is also doing it to give TPTB good soundbytes for his edit.

JimmyT always says exactly what I’m thinking, so uh, ditto. (Hey guys, I’m starting to wonder if I have a multiple personality that signed up for an account under the name JimmyT, and maybe I should see a shrink instead of asking you.)

Classy – 5’10 too short for you? I don’t mind so much – He’d still be taller than me wearing 4-inch heels, so that’s cool. If ever I was a little put off by his height, I’d just ask him to take off his shirt, and that would take care of that.

And yeah – I’m pretty sure at this point that Kaitlin’s going home tomorrow. If the vote happened RIGHT THIS SECOND, that would be the result – but of course, things can change pretty quickly, so we’ll see! (Candice is gonna be soooooo pissed. Maybe it’ll fuel her to get HoH – I would love to see a Candice HoH.)

Right now in the BB house… Amanda’s boobs are all sparkly while she talks to Spencer, Andy, Howard & Candice (who’s wearing that stupid ripped pink onsie) about Broadway shows. Jessie comes out in her bikini and joins them. Jessie asks Amanda if she likes “Glee” and Amanda tells her that her BFF is on the show. She’s the new girl that’s the bitchy one that’s the new trouble maker. They went to college together and were room-mates. Jessie is sooo amazed cuz she’s such a GLEEK! She can’t believe haw much Amanda has done already in her life. Amanda starts telling her all the things she’s done and throwing names out there. BB keeps giving us *FISH* when she names names. Howard’s asking how to get into some things cuz he’s been trying to get into that stuff. he is signed in with the modeling and he was started in the stage stuff but he wants to get into the television stuff and she asks what he’s been studying so he’s telling her what he was doing and the acting classes he went to. he talks about the casting people and mentions Robbie Green and we get *FISH* . He tells her living in Miss. is not the place to be. she says it’s the only place is LA or NYC. She says she was into acting for quite awhile and the reality part of it and she got into the production end of it, but there is no union in reality TV and they don’t pay you shit. She finally had to just get out of it all together and get into real estate and that’s what she’s been doing ever since.

Inside it’s Helen, Aaryn & Kaitlin sitting at the counter eating & listening to Elissa go on and on about Survivor and if they had been on it, they’d be gone already.

Yo… Elissa needs to recalibrate her dosage. She was talking with Andy and McCrae and complaining about how Howard uses his religion in the game, and how she doesn’t respect that (of course, comparing him to herself.) Andy and McCrae tell her to quiet down, because she’s talking really loud and people Howard are aligned with are within earshot. Elissa FLIPS, and storms around the house pissed at them for making fun of her religion, which they absolutely did NOT do. They calmly try to explain this to her, even apologizing that it came off that way, and she’s not having it. She’s been pissed at them for the better part of an hour for disrespecting her and her religion.

She’s using phrases like, “Don’t flatter yourself, I don’t care what you think.” “I shouldn’t be subjected to defamatory remarks.” etc, etc… she even bitched about it to Amanda, Judd, pretty much everyone.

Aryan overheard the conversation and runs up to HoH where McManda are hanging out to ask them who the HELL told Kaitlin that everyone thinks she has a deal with those guys. McManda claim innocence.

Meanwhile, Kaitlin’s freaking out now, panicking to Andy, who is trying to appease her, and claiming that Elissa is just trying to stir things up by telling lies.

Well, we watched the Jesus Christ Superstar movie last night, to try to get into the swing of things. The most important thing we noticed is how SLENDER people were back then. But I love the song at the end of the movies. Al-ways look on the bright, si-ide of life, de-dum, de-dum did-diddy dum.

At least Howard’s not using his religion to browbeat people — to him, it seems more like a security blanket. Elissa, on the other hand, clearly uses her “religion” to thump OTHER people on the head with. You’d think between her “faith” and her yoga practice she’d be on a more even keel, right?

Here’s hoping the plan to evict Kaitlin dies then. My guess is that production had Elissa step in to expose the plan, make it blow up, because they really want the ratings bump of seeing Aryan Aaryn evicted — they know that the longer she’s in the house, the less impact her eviction is going to have.

  • #272192

So Candice slept through everything. Elissa losing her mind, the subsequent arguments, the house meeting, all of it. When she wakes up, a couple of people start to fill her in, and she becomes convinced that Amanda was the engine behind ALL of it, which honestly, couldn’t be further from the truth. But NOW there’s a whole new argument between Candice and Amanda, because Amanda is really pissed that Candice would try to pin it all on her, and though Candice is denying it to Amanda’s face, she hasn’t really backed down from her certainty that Amanda is the one that started everything.

So THEN Amanda is having a conversation in the lounge about the Candice drama with Spencer, Howard, and Andy, and Kaitlin eavesdrops:

Once Amanda leaves the lounge, Kaitlin goes in to have a similar conversation with the same guys, and AMANDA eavesdrops:

Honestly guys… there is WAY too much going on, I can’t even keep track. But think of a combination of any 2 or 3 people in the BB15 house, and I promise you they had an argument tonight. And all parties lied about something in the argument.

Ahahahaha – SO. Apparently Elissa went to Howard and Candice and said that Amanda and McCrae were bashing Howard’s religion. Please note: Elissa was the one that was bashing Howard nonstop earlier today. That was when Andy and McCrae were laughing, because she was doing it too loud right in earshot of GM, and they were trying to get her to shut up. She got offended because she thought they were making fun of her religion, they spent…lord, hours trying to explain to her that they were just laughing because she was speaking so loud.

So Elissa is basically a total twat that is trying to deflect anything bad she’s said, in a proactive fashion. I have a feeling if word of what Elissa said gets back to McCrae, Andy or Amanda (Amanda was there, she wasn’t laughing with Andy and McCrae but she tried to explain what was up to Elissa, who didn’t want to hear it), there are going to be some major, MAJOR explosions.

Itchy, did you mean “Life of Brian” instead of “Jesus Christ Superstar?” The song you quoted was from LoB (which is an infinitely better movie).

I always thought BB was doing itself a disservice by keeping the booze to a minimum, as booze + dumb people = entertainment. But if everyone is on so much medication, I suppose BB doesn’t need to provide as much alcohol. Most of these people shouldn’t be mixing with their medicines anyway.

It was just great to see the free-flowing booze turn the BB Canada house into a high school make-out party half the time. Those people seemed to have A LOT of fun and I nearly peed myself when Talla fell into the hot tub and peed herself.

What is wrong with Elissa? Are her meds not level? Did they make everyone in the house take something so they didn’t get ring worm?!?!

I too think the house would be better if they had more access to booze, but i guess they don’t want the show to be about 15 booze bags in the house. i think it would be fun to see people compete while complaining about their hangovers.

My favorite JCS line: “Prove to me you are no fool…walk across my swimming pool!”

All of these meltdowns and dramas are pretty fun (although probably not to listen through–thank you all for putting up with that for the rest of us!). I think that one of the interesting things about all of this is that there are now multiple potential targets being set up for the next few weeks. In addition to Aryan and Kaitlin who are on the block people now have big problems with Elissa, Amanda, Howard, Candice and by association with them Spencer and maybe PB. Meanwhile, Helen and Andy are staying at the margins of all of this and Jessie and Judd are pretty much invisible.

If this isn’t a bonanza for Helen who is probably going to try to strategically take advantage of the chaos, then it will be a floater’s dream season and one of the other ones is going to make it to the end. Usually I’m not a fan of floaters, but I have to say that this is the first season in a while that doesn’t feel like it has quickly fallen into the usual ruts.

Hamsterwatch’s take on Howard is interesting:
“I still can’t listen to his know-it-all monotone for long, but I did catch a bit of Monday night’s sermon for Candice when he was talking about how he believes a wife should be subservient to her husband. That’s all well and good if that’s how a couple chooses to live, consenting adults etc, but Candice wasn’t so sure. I have to wonder if something like that came up before the feeds: it could explain a lot about Amanda’s antagonism towards him. A very lot.”

Well guys… most of you probably didn’t even notice at all, but I’ve been away from my computer and Big Brother since early yesterday afternoon. Seems a lot has happened in the house since then with Elissa and her major melt-down and the arrival of all these baby ducks. now we are into this religious war thing…

To be truthful…. I really didn’t even take the time to watch the video of the BB house meeting. I read everyone’s posts and from what I read….. I don’t even care what Elissa did or the aftermath of it all. I think she was pushed by the producers to do SOMETHING to expose the fact that Kaitlin was about to be evicted and NOT Aaryn…. this, of course, was news to her for the most part and she handled it all wrong. The girl is an awful actress and can’t keep a straight thought in her head for more than 5 minutes without rambling. She’s mentally unstable to begin with and they sent her out to do a job she couldn’t handle. They picked a real winner when they put her in the house.

I haven’t even turned on the feeds today. I don’t care who gets evicted this week. I just want it to be over with.
You know the season’s gone to hell, when I come here and you guys are all talking about fucking religion…. WTF?

    Hey guys!

So apparently not much has happened today, going by what other update sites have had to say. I was investigating an Aryan DR leak (it was just the producer telling her about a request for foundation that she put in, no biggie) when I stumbled upon THIS gem of a conversation: McManda, Judd, and Spencer (ugh) were hanging out, talking about Game of Thrones, and Amanda was saying how great an actor Peter Dinklage is. Spencer swears up and down that “remember that one season that they brought those gnome guys into the Big Brother house? I swear he was one of them. When we get out of here, we should check his imdb page and it will say he was a gnome on BB.” So, if you’re keeping track, not only does Spencer think that Peter Dinklage, an Emmy-nominated, respected actor for more than ten years, would demean himself to entertain BB contestants, but he sails right past the offensive term “midget” to the outright outrageous term “gnome.” He never disappoints, does he?

BTW, I read earlier that he told Jessie he thinks her pussy would taste like butterscotch? I can’t even bring myself to find out if that’s true, so.

  • #272470

    Dashley

So I DID investigate, and it was Jessie telling Amanda (at 11:43ish) that Spencer told her that her vagina probably tastes like butterscotch. So it didn’t actually make it to the feeds, but somehow I don’t think Jessie is making it up.

Also, since last night, Spencer has made a couple of jokes about how he’s going to go Hitler on Amanda and send her to the showers.

I’m SO done with him. Can we get a quadruple eviction up in this bitch and get rid of Aryan, GinaMarie, Spencer, and crazy Elissa in one shot? That’d be great, thanks.

He definitely said that about Jessie. A few weeks ago he said the same things to Germy.

It is sad, because now that Aryan-gate has blown over, there is no way that CBS/BB is going to air any of his crap. If they did, they would be an admission that they used Aryan as a distraction from all the other people spewing this crap. Also, I don’t see viewers campaigning for him to go out since Aryan still i the house.

I don’t really care who goes home either, but I do want to know whether they are going to reveal the MVP thing to the HG. I have a feeling they won’t. I also wonder if the original MVP rules are going to go back again next week. I kind of wish it would stay with America keeping the MVP vote.

You guys know I’m pulling for a Judd/Jessie showmance, and we just got a little closer to that happening… Jessie needed someone to vent to (“I just HATE her!” – either Candice or GM, not sure which she was referring to), and Judd was there to comfort her. They did a little cuddling, she played with his hair…

Then STUPID GM stomped through the room like a buffalo. Ruined the moment. So Jessie decided to go to the HN room because she needed a nap, so they had a VERY long hug, at the end of which she kissed his shoulder and he kissed her cheek.

C’mon… am I the only one who thinks this is really cute?

So we have a good idea of what the HoH comp is going to be tomorrow – a couple of hours ago, the HGs were given a practice game where they roll a ball down a ramp into a big rotating disk with various buckets:

  • #272544

Judd, still clearly convinced that Howard is hiding something, takes the opportunity while literally every other HG but him is occupied with another activity (HoH practice) and tries to search through Howard’s things, but doesn’t get very far. He doesn’t realize that those suitcases are just there for show, and don’t actually contain anything.

Amanda is pretty good at the HoH game, and Andy was doing pretty well, too.

The house has gone crazy again, but in a much more positive way. Most everyone is in a happy, laughing mood, and they’re having graphic discussions of sex while they hang out.

You know, going up to a Jewish person and joking you want to gas them… I hope someone cuts this guy’s balls off one day.

And he’s been overtly harrassing Jessie for a while — he does this in front of her too. If he said even a fraction of what he’s been saying to her and others in the workplace, he’d be canned in a second.

I’ve been saying for weeks now that Spencer’s the worst. Far worse than Aryan Aaryn, who’s just an idiot kid. Even worse than Jeremy, who was mostly intolerable because he was a giant ignorant douchebag. Spencer’s not an idiot, he’s not ignorant. He knows exactly what he’s saying. That’s what makes him so awful.

Also, Amanda was crying because Elissa took a couple of potshots at her while she was trying to do something nice for McCrae’s birthday (and they were all fueled on alcohol or whatever weird chemical cocktail they’ve been giving people this season). But obviously she has a body complex, that’s why she got the fake tits.

I don’t want to “dash” anyone’s hopes but… Jessie was complaining yesterday that she hadn’t gotten called to the DR for a week — which made her figure out she’s not being featured in the show.

So all of a sudden she starts snuggling with Judd… And guess what happens? She gets called to the DR!

I give Amanda credit for purchasing a fairly natural looking set at least. Seeing her stand next to the Silicone Princess (Elissa), she looks just great. Even though either the other girls are tiny, or Amanda’s an Amazon.

Elissa was on another reality show last year, not just the Anderson Cooper thing. I think this is all part of a ploy to turn the Reilly family into another Kardashian Krew. Are there any other sisters?

Candice and Howard were talking about their concern of Aaryn on the jury a couple of days ago, but I’m unsure how that’s an issue for this week. There are still 13 people in the house, so there are four more evictions before people start getting thrown onto jury.

However, I think now is the time they should be thinking about who they would want voting for them in the end. There’s no competition power-houses in the group, so, in my mind, the biggest threat is social game. Personally, I would be looking to drop any wishy washy votes (Elissa, Aaryn, GM, Jessie), before Jury, then start getting rid of anyone without conflict in the house (Judd, Andy, McCrae). Drop Amanda before she expects too much about the girl alliance falling apart, drop Howard, and then fight it out to the end between Candice, Kaitlin, and Spencer. Helen gets to stay to the end because a) I adore her and b) I’m looking at this from her perspective because I think she and I would have the most similar game play in the house.

Candice and Howard have no chance in hell of winning this. No one trusts Howard and no one respects Candice (because she’s let Howard shove his hand too far up her butt by now…she’s become his puppet). Plus, they’re aligned with Spencer, which just goes to show how deeply they’re taking this whole bigotry thing.

I’m sure CBS would LOVE for one of them to win though. Maybe they can weasel out of the contract they signed with Elissa and Reilly Inc.?

What did you all think of Elissa’s edit last night? I thought that they showed a little of her annoying side, but TPTB also tried hard to send a message to the Brenchel army that they needed to keep voting for her as the MVP or she would just go home.

The show also, reminded me of how stupid everyone is being with the MVP. They all just keep assuming that she is going to get it and plan all of their strategies that way and I’m sure it will go back to that next week. This could have been a good twist if they hadn’t cast her, with people trying extra hard each week to be sneaky, evil, funny, etc. in order to get America’s vote. What a waste. If TPTB have any sense, they will keep the audience as MVP and not tell them until the end of the game.

They’re definitely giving peeks into Elissa’s bitch queen routine — and from some of the comments I’ve read elsewhere, it’s working.

But I think the idiots who are ‘fans’ of Rachel (and by extension Elissa) like exactly this kind of idiocy, so they’re probably eating it up. Itchy, I think you especially should read this blog post by former BB winner Jun, but really, it’s an interesting read for anyone who’s a BB fan. She did an FAQ about what happens in the Diary Room: http://jundishes.com/2013/07/23/big-brother-diary-room-faqs/
The moral of the story is that, yes, there is a little producer influence on the game via the Diary Room, but all these conspiracy theories about the game being fixed are just conspiracy theories.
As for Jessie, I don’t know. She HAS been resistant to a Judd showmance up until now, but so has he. Obviously, as evidenced by his anxiety over being HoH and being seen as a target, his strategy is to get through the summer with people never considering him a threat. And that includes resisting a showmance. Isn’t it possible that they just really like each other, and Jessie feels like the rest of us – the better she gets to know him, the more attractive he is? Even when they do have moments of affection, they both seem like they’re REALLY holding back, and those moments are really brief.
Just like everyone else, I really didn’t like Jessie at first, especially with that comment about being a target because she’s pretty. But now that I’ve seen so much more of her on the feeds, she reminds me a LOT of a good friend of mine, and I think it’s possible that she was joking and it just didn’t come across. Keep in mind that that whole conversation happened before the feeds started airing – and she might have already started to notice that the other ladies were being catty. We don’t know the timeline or the order of the events, so she may not have had those thoughts in a vacuum. I’m choosing at this point to give her the benefit of the doubt, because I like her so much more than most of the people in that house.

Well, I didn’t pay attention to Big Brother much until about season 6, and it was only when I discovered the live feed forum (I think that was season 9 or 10? Maybe even later) that I really started enjoying the show. So I can’t really speak to whether the DR sessions have changed since Jun’s season. And I couldn’t say when it was that people really started complaining about producer manipulation.

Jun does admit that it has indeed been 10 years since her season, the DR sessions might be different. And obviously the producers would handle different people differently — some people are simply really thick and need help to make the season go they want it to. Especially, as she points out, the morons they’ve been bringing in lately.

But she makes a good point that, in all this time, no former contestant has ever come out and said any of this was rigged. So there’s that.

This season does feel a little different. The whole idea of bringing in Rachel’s sister, at the same time as the MVP, which Rachel’s sister magically wins week after week (even though it was pretty clear after the first week she was a dimwit), and then, each time she’s up for elimination, she somehow gets spared… I dunno. Smells pretty bad when you sniff it up close…

Besides, part of the fun of Big Brother (for me) is conspiracisizing (as GM would say) about the producer manipulation. So ex-cu-u-use me!

As for Howard, I’m fascinated by the way he talks with his hands. He obviously studied at the Chris Harrison school of Hostdouches.

Does no one in this house know the proper way to eat a mango?

Aw, Itchy, I wasn’t telling you that you were wrong or anything – I just thought you would find it interesting to hear the perspective of someone who has lived through it.

Did you see that facebook post from a supposed former BB production person that says everything is fixed and Amanda is going to win the season? It reeks of made-up weirdness, especially because she’s all like “the reason I am doing this anonymously…” except that her name and picture are right there, so that’s a little odd. But in any case, it’s food for thought. I personally don’t rule out the conspiracy theories entirely, but I also think that if the HGs are good enough at the game, they should be able to overcome production interference.

Heh, I don’t mind being wrong, not to worry (well not about Big Brother). But I think Jun’s right in that they’re stocking the house with idiots these days.

And there’s definitely a tendency now among reality shows to produce “stars” (who they recycle for followup seasons) that didn’t seem to exist in the past. And Elissa definitely falls into that category — CBS was hoping they’d get viewers to tune in just because they weren’t casting Rachel’s sister. Too bad it backfired — Rachel may have been annoying as hell, but she was an outlandish television presence. Elissa, on the other hand, is drugged up self-righteous prig.

Anyhoo, I don’t doubt for a moment that Judd and Jessie are having a true flirtmance. But I think the realization that the flirtmance is going to get her more camera time is helping Jessie move things a bit more quickly.

And yes, she actually seems like one of the nicer people in the house. If not the nicest (even Judd gets a bit caustic when his meds wear off).

Oh, TheMiki — I got the Klaus Barbie reference. But it’s just not enough.

    How about simply: Maggot ?

I think producers certainly nudge, and with increasingly dumber people they need to nudge even more. I love conspiracizitimating with your guys but I also believe that in most cases what people perceive as conspiracies are really the result of inept people trying to cover up for their own incompetence.

Given who made it into the house this year, I’m pretty sure that the Grodner team is full of those kind of people. Come to think of it, they are probably hiring people like Lawon or Enzo to be in the production team. That would explain A LOT! Now that that’s a conspiracy I can get behind.

I understand why Judd and Jessie are worried about showmances (well at least Judd, Jessie was dying for one at first). In the past people have tried to break those up right away but this year there is so much other weird stuff going, not to mention two other more worrisome showmance already happening, that I don’t think they have anything to worry about.

Let’s hope it happens. If anything so that we can use their couple name: Jedd!

Except for the typos. I really need to start proofreading before I hit ‘send.’ Sheesh.

I didn’t really notice DR manipulations or production meddling until Dr. Will returned for the All-Stars in season #7. He would go in the DR and plug ideas to them about different things that he & Boogie could do to make the show more entertaining. Of course, he & Boogie would do them anyways. But they spent a lot of time on these little “stories”. Dr. Will even talked about doing a show for CBS in the future. He ended up doing something on Entertainment Tonight and then there was that stint where he removed Boogie’s dick warts. THIS is when the producers realized they could have some sort of “different” control over the house guests and the things they do… IMO.

Well, I can’t see how they could possibly manipulate this next HOH comp — it’s seems entirely random. Completely based on luck. Literally anyone could win this. Even Howard!

But I love how the HGs go around talking about how they’re definitely going to win this one, then talk about who they’ll nominate.

Helen finally pulled Kaitlin aside to pretend she was wishy washy on her vote and *pretend* she might be thinking of voting to evict her. Kaitlin was none too pleased, and after trying to sell Helen on voting to evict Aryan, started in with some threats about who she’s going after if she wins HoH. LOL… poor girl has NO clue the vote is going to be unanimous, and she’s going home.

Everyone’s putting on the finishing touches getting ready for the live show, and GM, dressing to the nines for television, seems to forget there are already cameras on her:

Anyhoo, West Coast over here, and for some reason I try not to hang out on the feeds or the forum until AFTER the episode, so I’ll see you guys in the Week 5 forum in a few hours!

I didn’t see the typo until you brought it to my attention! After many years of reading Gasmi, and now Trashtastics..I read posts from folks that I know will interest me. I leave spelling, punctuation and grammatical error to the obnoxiously smart people who let us know the error of our ways.

    ;)
