As we say in Oklahoma, Jeremy appears to have his dauber in the dirt. I don’t ever recall anyone wailing like GM. This has the potential to be one great week.

I am so ridiculously happy right now! And it shows Helen’s character – instead of celebrating her HOH win, she is comforting GinaMarie. What a classy person!

Vote tally: Jeremy, Kaitlin, GinaMarie and oddly enough, Howard voted for Nick to stay. Spencer flipped to evicting him along with everyone else, making the score 7-4.

Here’s the interesting part – people right now trust Howard way more than they trust Spencer. Yet Howard didn’t vote with the house. Is he going to try and pin it on Spencer, or is he going to fess up and be honest about it? Helen was consoling GM at the end of the live show. If she uses her mom skills wisely, she could have GM completely on her side.

Oh, and Jeremy looks like he just swallowed a mouthful of something incredibly unpleasant. Maybe the hat he swiped in the crack of his ass?

Can’t wait to see how this plays out in the house. Won’t be able to watch the feeds for a few hours – will check in later tonight and see if anything major has detonated!

You guys I am so happy Helen pulled off that win, poor lady was getting dressed earlier this afternoon and said none of her clothes are fitting right anymore because she’s lost so much weight from being on slop two weeks in a row. Poor Helen!

As I said to my dad (who I got hooked on BB) “Are you shitting me with that broad and her crying?” I mean, seriously – she’s known him two weeks. There are people I’ve known 20 years that I wouldn’t have that kind of reaction to.

Imagine the tears when she finds out she’s unemployed.

And WTF with those asshats that didn’t congratulate Helen? At least Aryan Aaryn didn’t throw the key at her.

Was it wrong that I cheered when Germy was out first?

So I’m hoping this girl power thing continues to be a trend. Helen could get Aaryn out if she wanted, easily, but getting Jeremy or Spencer out would be way, way sweeter.

    Loved it!

That was sly of Julie to first ask Amanda about forgetting about the cameras before turning to Aryan. If Aryan had an ounce of self-awareness she would have taken cues from Amanda’s answer and tried to redeem herself. Instead, being the ass that she is, she walked right into the set up and the video clips that followed reinforced her dismissive behavior even more. I also liked the pissed-off edge in Julie’s voice. I’m surprised the audience didn’t boo or many any noise. I’m sure they were asked not to so that Aryan wouldn’t get tipped off.

I also loved that Bestial Jeremy got eliminated on the first try…ha, ha, ha.

Helen is going to be an interesting HOH. She was clearly sending a message to Jeremy during her eviction speech that he is next on her list. Her comforting GM could also be a good play since it sends a message to Jeremy, Kaitlin, and Aryan that even with two-faced Howard and Spencer still side with them, that Helen’s side has the numbers for this week.

Glad to hear tonight’s who talked you off the ledge, Chooch!

Jeremy and Spencer would be sweet, but then all the fun would be over in one week.

I think the three nominees should be Jeremy, Aryan and Kaitlin so that we can she them rip each other apart.

At this point everyone in the house knows that Howard and Spencer are unreliable so they don’t much power, credibility or sway with Helen so that could wait a little.

Part of me also would like to see Howard put up, if anything see him squirm a bit. I think the guy has a chauvinist streak (didn’t he say something like “you know what women are like” during the show and also told McCrae that he needed to “keep his woman in line”) that blinded him to possibilities that: a) that any of the women could figure out that he was playing them and b) that even, if they did, that they could never pull off a counter-move of any sort.

I guess some karma is finally going around and she is most certainly a smart and decisive woman, not a b****, like Howard probably thinks.

Why does this remind me sooo much of the funeral of Jessie? … When Chima, Lydia & Natalie sat around the table crying their eyes out because Jeff sent Jessie packing. These three girls are doing the same thing… talking about going to the DR and self-evicting themselves. The game of BB isn’t fair and they just want to go home now. Aaryn said that high school was much easier than this!

Spencer tells Elissa that Jessie has to be the 4th vote because he and Howard both voted Nick out. They ALWAYS vote together. She says she doesn’t believe it. he assures her that they always vote the same. She goes back and tells Judd what he said and he doesn’t believe it either, saying it just doesn’t make any sense for Jessie to vote against the group. BUT when Candice hears it, she believes that Jessie IS the 4th vote, not wanting to doubt her hot piece of ass. He would never lie to her cuz he’s all up in her panties now.

    Awwww AARYN IS UNHAPPY

so unhappy that she decided to throw a fit like a two year old

BB said “Aaryn, stop that” too late – Candice came in later wanting to know who touched her bed. Jeremy sat down on Jessie’s bed while Jessie was in it – Jessie told him to please get off of her bed, argument started about bed situation. Jeremy is like “I’m not being confrontational I don’t have a problem with you” while Jessie was strenuously and nervously asking him to get off her bed repeatedly, he wouldn’t budge, just sat there smiling at her maliciously while Aaryn and Kaitlin cackled. I hate him. I want him to go home. That was one of the most uncomfortable moments I have ever seen on these feeds. Someone castrate that fucker.

  • #268856

    Whatwhat
    Participant

OH MY GOD GM and Candace ALMOST CAME TO BLOWS – Aaryn was bitching at Candace about the bed thing, Howard came in, Candace told her what they did and Howard was about to walk out, GM says ‘see you don’t need him’ and Candace said ‘yeah and you don’t need Nick and now he’s gone so SHUT THE FUCK UP’ and GM stood up and got in Candace’s face and started yelling at her and then Howard FORCIBLY PICKED UP CANDACE AND CARRIED HER OUT OF THE ROOM. She broke down in the have not room with Howard, telling him they were going to sleep -in their bed-, Howard said he was not going to sit in there and listen to them, he said they’re going to keep pushing her buttons and he’s going to defend her because he feels like he has to and he’ll get kicked out and he doesn’t want to do that. Andy appears, tells her she’s better than that, leaves again. Howard says they are not going to fight that battle, he doesn’t want her to go back in there and fight. He says the only way he is going to get kicked out is if he is defending her or defending Helen because he fits in their group, he is a minority in the house and he doesn’t want to fight that fight, he can’t be catty like them, he can’t go back and forth and he’s not going to be able to control his temper. Candace points out the racist remarks, the have not, the bed being flipped over, the fact that they were talking to her all ‘ghetto’ when confronting her, and says “And I am just supposed to go and hide and sleep in another room” and Howard says they aren’t hiding, they’re just being bigger.

He just wants them to be bigger than them. He’s mad, says every time they talk to her like that it’s like they’re talking to him like that. He says he doesn’t want to fight, he wants to be bigger than they are being, if they were outside the house it would be different but he said he wants to carry himself with respect in this house and be the bigger man. He says the producers obviously like that shit because they keep letting them get away with it. Candace says she is just tired of being disrespected and wants them to quietly stand up for themselves and sleep in their bed. Howard says he’s not going to sleep well and she’s not going to sleep well in that room – points out he’s just going to be waiting to hear something. Howard says he is THIS CLOSE to just going off and going after them and getting kicked out, no money, no nothing, but he’d be happy anyway. Candace asks where he is sleeping, he says it doesn’t matter. He wants to be the bigger person, and he wants her to be the bigger person.

GM comes in and says ‘You want to talk like women now’ and Candace says she doesn’t want to talk to her, she’s tired of the racist stuff and she respects GM but she doesn’t want to talk to her, GM says she didn’t say anything and she just wanted to apologize and she’s sorry and she left.

Candace starts crying, says if they give up the bed they’re never going to get the bed back, she doesn’t want to sleep by herself she wants to sleep next to Howard because it’s the only time she’s ever been really happy in the house and giving up the bed means they win and she just starts sobbing and Howard gathers her in his arms and holds her while she cries and seriously guys, I fucking hate GM/Aaryn/Kait/Jeremy so much right now. This girl is fucking broken over what these assholes are saying and doing.

Meanwhile the three twats and the douchebag are back in the bedroom harassing Jessie and she tells them this is the reason she didn’t stay with them, all they do is talk shit about people behind people’s backs.

According to Joker’s, the Aryan crew are taking over Judd and Jessie’s beds. They ordered them out of the room and Jeremy sat on Jessie’s bed (while she was in it) and tried to intimidate her to get out. Candice got into a screaming match with GinaMarie after she made MORE racial slurs and Howard physically picked up Candice and took her out of the room.

What the hell is going on with these people?

Howard is currently in the have not room praying. He sounds like he is or has been crying. Says he can’t do this anymore alone.

BB asks him to go to the DR.

He closes his eyes, takes a deep breath, appears to be thinking and trying to compose himself before going. Camera goes to Candace upstairs, who is telling Andy/Helen/Elissa about what happened downstairs, she’s crying.

Amanda was apparently talking to Aaryn and telling her look, you’re being portrayed as racist, they keep asking in the DR – feeds kept cutting to fish during all of this, Aaryn was deny deny deny. Oh, and GM came back and said Candice was crying. Kaitlin raised her hands and acted like she was really really really happy.

Elissa is braiding Candice’s hair and they’re all reassuring her. Helen is livid. Says the abuse in the house needs to stop, and Jessie and Candace are not sleeping down there, no way, she will bring them up in the HoH room. Elissa asks what Candice’s stuff looks like, is going to go get it for her and bring it upstairs.

Aaryn/GM are in the room. They don’t even bother acknowledging Elissa is even there. They’re just ignoring her and talking to each other about the competition.

GM says ‘so a weak person is going to win this game’ – uh, GM, if they were weak players then why are you guys pissed off and throwing hissy fits and losing and they are the ones winning, you dumbass

  • #268867

Helen is talking to Candice and Jessie. Gives Jessie the rest of her red wine. Says okay girls, pep talk here, we can do this, we can win competitions, I know we can do it and even if we don’t, WE HAVE THE VOTES! Candice starts sobbing again, says she’s never felt worse than when she went in there and saw her bed flipped over, her clothes everywhere – says Howard was about to go Hulk mode.

Helen said she’s going to put Kaitlin and Aaryn on the block, they’ll backdoor Jeremy, reassures them that in three weeks, those three people will be gone. Helen says GM is really upset right now, they need to comfort her, she’s upset and blindsided, people lied to her, but they need to be compassionate with her and she’ll come over to the good side, she’ll either give up and self-evict, or she’ll realize she was hanging out with crazy people.

  • #268868

    Whatwhat
    Participant

Elissa is saying she’s not happy with GM either, Candice points out that GM has been saying bad things too. Helen says GM is upset and hanging with the wrong people, but she’s willing to give her the benefit of the doubt – when Jeremy had his outburst (that first night off have-not with the red wine), GM was the one who came upstairs and hugged her when she was crying, and GM was the one who went back down and told Jeremy to apologize, and she’s willing to give GM the benefit of the doubt about that.

Howard comes in to check and make sure Candice is okay. Helen offers Howard his pick of the junk food. He says he just needs to go somewhere and chill out. Candice asks him what was said in the DR – LOTS OF FISH – he leaves to go chill out.

Candice and Howard are talking again, Candice is upset about the bed situation still. She says ‘we just gave up and let them have our bed’ – Howard says that’s fine, it’s fine, don’t worry about it, it’ll be okay – but he has to defend her, and if she goes in there they’re going to start in on her again, gang up on her, and all they want is for her to hit them first so she goes home. Feeds just cut off, not sure why. Probably because this is SO DAMNED UNCOMFORTABLE TO WATCH or something.

Andy is talking to Helen. Says both Howard and Spencer can’t be trusted – said they deliberately skewed the vote to spread suspicion. Andy points out that both Spencer and Howard were saying that Jessie lied and changed her vote, trying to throw her under the bus. Andy tells Helen that both Spencer and Howard need to be treated like bestest friends for the next few weeks but they absolutely, completely, one hundred percent cannot be trusted at all. Ever. Andy is totally on to them, sees right through their game, knows what they are doing.

    I love Andy.

Guys SERIOUSLY this is ONE NIGHT INTO HELEN’S NEW HOH and FOUR PAGES OF STUFF ALREADY.

Amanda is trying to tell Aaryn that voting Nick out was not personal, it was strictly the game. Aaryn says she looks like an idiot now because she trusted her. Amanda says look, just because I voted out Nick doesn’t mean I voted out YOU – you are on the wrong side of the house right now because you’re choosing to be there, you need to come over to the other side. Aaryn is crying, says she’s tried to be nice to Elissa over and over and it doesn’t work (uh, don’t know when that happened because I’ve never seen it) – Amanda says being with Kaitlin and Jeremy in an alliance is the dumbest thing she could be doing in this house. Aaryn says she hasn’t got a choice, Amanda says yes she does.

Aaryn just wishes they could have talked about it instead of her finding out like this. Amanda says to be perfectly honest, they didn’t even know until yesterday that Nick was going, and if they had told Aaryn about it, mass hysteria would’ve broken out. Amanda says just do what Jeremy is doing – Aaryn says Jeremy looks like a douche. Amanda says doing what Jeremy is doing and staying out of it is a lot better than flipping people’s beds over.

I seriously hope Aaryn goes home this week. Her or Jeremy. Either one. Aaryn is just digging herself a deeper hole every week and if they don’t get rid of her soon there is going to be a damned lynch mob waiting to get her once she gets out because she just keeps opening her mouth and stupid just keeps right on pouring out. I realize CBS is probably going ‘holy shit we’ve got a potential ratings hit on our hands’ and might be trying to keep her in simply for that but seriously, if she doesn’t turn a leaf or seem to have some semblance of intelligence seep in in the next 7 days – if she doesn’t come to her sense, being IN there is going to do more harm than good to the HGs, and HER.

  • #268890

It looks like right now, Elissa and Jessie are going to go claim Jessie’s bed and sleep there, they went in to explain this to Jeremy (who was lounged out on said bed) and he said that was fine and he would move when they were going to go to bed, but that he/GM/Kait/Aaryn might be up talking all night. Elissa said they didn’t care as long as they had a bed to sleep on. Candice doesn’t want to sleep upstairs – I’m guessing she just really wants to give Helen the HoH bed all to herself – Andy has told Candice that the people who did that to her are pieces of shit and he has a spot in his bed if she wants to sleep next to him.

I’m not sure where Howard is, but I think he’s probably going to regret siding with Jeremy after all this is said and done. Dude looked like he was inches from going in there and smashing some faces. I think he’s still hanging in the have-not room.

Great feedcapping tonight Whatwhat! You got all the action for us! It’s so exciting and the night’s not even over yet! Howard has to take some of the blame for the serious meltdown going on in the Aryan Nation, so he knows he needs to maintain his cool. At least Andy knows the whole situation. Dingo at Hamsterwatch has a new phrase for him. He says Andy’s an expert at feed-bombing. He is on every feed, sticking his nose into every conversation….lol. He is SO right.

Oh,,, and @Lurksalot, to answer your question about Julie talking to the HOH on the LIVE show, she didn’t do it quite a few times last season. I remember because when Daniele was HOH, she was looking forward to her interview with Julie and she didn’t get one. There was another one who wasn’t interviewed either, but right now, I can’t remember who it was.

Thanks for staying on top of all this, WW… I went back and watched the Aaryn bed flip/Candice freaking out/ Howard comforting her thing, and I was soooo sad watching it. I’m really fucking pissed at CBS right now. All along, I’ve felt that since BB is a human terrarium, they should leave things as is, and just honestly portray the whole thing on the broadcast. But I’m now solidly in the camp that these assholes need to be evicted for being racist pieces of shit, and I am heartbroken that Candice and Howard are dealing with this shit.
The debate between Candice (who realizes logically that fighting over a bed is a stupid thing to fight over but feels like it’s the principle of not being treated as a lesser human being) and Howard (who doesn’t want to fight over the bed and make waves so that people aren’t scared of the angry black man) is just… awful. It makes me cry. That’s not anything Aryan would EVER have to deal with, and I hope that bitch bites it, hard. Her losing her modeling contract isn’t enough. I hope she PAYS. I hope she never has another happy day ever in her life.

I think what’s really bothering me right now is that…okay, yes, Aaryn has pretty much revealed herself to be an unrepentant idiot with the foulest mouth I have ever heard in my life. And part of me is dying to see what happens to her after she leaves the house and realizes what she’s done. But there’s also part of me that really feels bad for her because seriously, she’s about to get the world’s biggest wake up call. The BIGGEST I HAVE EVER SEEN. And just going by how she’s acting in the house over something as dumb as a game with people being voted out – I don’t know if she is mentally prepared to handle the backlash that is coming for her. I’m not saying I like her. I don’t. I really, really don’t, and Kaitlin and Jeremy can go fuck themselves too.

But there comes a point where I, as a human being, look at another human being and realize they are about to suffer, and I mean suffer horribly. And it is making me uncomfortable being on the outside of that, watching it all, knowing it is going to hit her in the face. Part of me is giggling about it, but part of me is cringing for her, because CBS has really taken what she’s said and run with it. It’s like watching someone stare down the barrel of a loaded gun while they play with the trigger – it doesn’t matter who that person is that is staring down the barrel, I really don’t know if I’m prepared to watch someone blow their brains out. You know what I mean?

If she just had some semblance of common sense, some semblance of understanding, really – but she doesn’t, and she won’t, and I don’t even know if she will when she finally gets tossed out of there on her ass and realizes what a fool she’s made of herself.

Hey everybody!! I had to come out of lurking after this episode! Isn’t it the most? Nick (and Jeremy) blindsided, Helen the new HOH. I was yelling at the TV, I was so excited. And GM’s theatrics..

I can imagine Jeremy somewhere in the house tallying the 4 votes (for Elissa). He knows he voted for her, assumes kaitlin would follow him, and saw GM crying her eyes out.. I woder, has he chanced upon the forth? Something tells me he would assume Howard betrayed him before he think McCrae or Spencer did. All that for naught, Howard.

I’m not gonna lie… Seeing Candace and Howard go through that is horrible. Like I didn’t even see it, but reading it is enough to put a lump in my throat. I can see Howard’s struggle and I sympathize with him so much more than before. At first, he looked so complacent in his ‘inactiveness’ in the wake of the racism drama. Although it does appear he wasn’t around for all of it. But he is so stoic, it almost apeared as if it didn’t affect him at all. And for us to see how much it does affect him.. I SO hope that is shown on Sunday. Julia said they only show things that pertain to the outcome of the game..best believe his and Candace’s breakdownthrough will definitely change how they play the game.

And just seeing Howard’s torment.. how much he wanted to address it.. goes to show how much self-control it took not to make waves. I think, like Dashley mentioned, it is easy for tables to turn once someone ‘pulls the card’, no matter how justified. I think Howard feels this, too..so he doesn’t want to put a target on his back for calling out the obvious, especially as it may make him seem angry or self-victimizing. Especially around someone who lacks self-awareness as much as Aryan.

WhatWhat..thanks for the great and juicy details of these past few hours. I do agree..Aryan is in for a rude awakening. other contestants keep calling her naive and they are right. She is sheltered. Sad thing is, she was sheltered at the KKKamp. I mean, how can someone really think that’s okay? In mixed company, no less? That wakeup call may be long overdue. The plus side (for her) is she’s generic-looking enough that flubbing at 22 means people may forget by 28 and she may be able to pretend it never happened. Just lay low. And get some Black friends.

    Kidding!!
    No one will have her.
Unless they befriend her with a chocolate pie.

HAHAHAHA okay the Moving Company is officially OVER. Why? Because McCrae just told Amanda it existed.

He said he was feeling off all week because they were trying to bully him into getting rid of her and he didn’t know how to get himself out of it. When Judd said Jessie was a definite yes for getting rid of Nick and that they had the votes for sure earlier this week, McCrae got RIDICULOUSLY excited – that was why. He had an out and a way to get out of the Moving Company entirely. Amanda is shocked and laughing, says she KNEW there was a boys alliance, McCrae says I know you probably don’t trust me anymore, Amanda says of course she does. He said he was so mad because it was down to the MC or Amanda and he didn’t want to get rid of Amanda – he says “You’re my queen. I don’t want to get rid of my queen.” Awwwwwww

Then he says he’s not sure if he should tell anyone else. Surprise surprise who comes buzzing in but Andy. Amanda starts laughing and says McCrae has to tell Andy. So he does.

Andy gets all shocked and then starts laughing hysterically, said he KNEW something was up he just couldn’t quite figure it out. He says he can’t wait to go to the DR now.

So that’s a bit of a lighter moment – I was wondering when/if McCrae would ever fess up. SO LONG MOVING COMPANY, YOU WON’T BE MISSED

McCrae got called into the DR just after he revealed all of this. Amanda and Andy start talking who to get out – they want strong players playing. They said Aaryn, Kaitlin and Howard – Andy said he’d rather not Kaitlin because he thinks she might come over to their side if they just leave her alone, Amanda says Kaitlin won’t be their target anyway. If Jeremy or Spencer get pulled in to play Veto and win and take someone off the block, that will still leave them with a good replacement either way.

Judd comes in and talk turns to Aaryn and her comments. Amanda says she was yelling at Aaryn, saying people hated her because she was racist, and it wasn’t sinking in. Judd says he went in there after everything went down and Aaryn called him a queer when he went to leave, he said “trash” and walked out. Then he says “That was after the whole racist conversation I think,” Andy says “MY GOD, is she an IDIOT” – fish

McCrae comes back. He tells Judd about Moving Company too. I think McCrae may fess up to their entire alliance – if not everyone, at least to Helen, too. Judd is kind of shocked, but said he realized something was going on. McCrae said it was the stupidest thing, because all the moving company people kept talking to each other right in the sights of everyone else. McCrae says Judd was totally key for getting Jessie’s vote because it got him out of that horrible Moving Company thing – he gives Judd a hug, thanking him for pulling that off.

Jeremy is trying to convince Aaryn that they won’t go home this week because Helen likes competition and would want to keep them around for that.

This is the face of a man who doesn’t believe a single thing he is saying

and with that, I am off to bed, but dang this was a busybusy night for houseguests – I’m hoping Aaryn and Kaitlin end up as have-nots. That would just make the week that much sweeter. Really.

Jeez, okay, I have to hand it to Howard. I would have lost my shit. I hope the others all join together to stand up to these horrible people. It really sucks that Helen wasn’t allowed to name the have-nots. Except that fucker Jeremy has that stupid pass.

But this season just got going, didn’t? And now it’s looking like it may be a GREAT season after all. Who knows? It could turn into the best ever.

On the other hand, they have absolutely no reason to get rid of Aryan — she’ll never win this show. She’s the perfect person to bring to the end.

And for her own protection I hope not only that she stays, but that the others can help educate her about her ignorance. In order to do that, they have to get Jeremy out of there first of all, then Spencer. Her only hope is to undergo a transformation by the end of the season, and make a BIG apology.

I’m officially on team Helen now.

Thanks to all the recappers of last night’s escapades!!! I had to youtube all the ridiculousness this morning. I kind of agree with @Dashley (I think, is who made this point) – part of the reason BB is so amazing is because we really are watching these assholes relate to one another without any outside interference. However, watching that scene where Candice finds her bed turned over was one of the most uncomfortable things I have ever witnessed.

Making all other things equal – if Candice wasn’t black, would Aryan still have done it? Would it still be so uncomfortable to watch? I don’t think so, to both. She sure as hell wouldn’t have acted ghetto fabulous when Candice saw it. I really think the large part of the reason Aryan is such a raging bitch to Candice is because of her ethnicity.

Part of me wishes Amanda hadn’t said anything to Aryan about her racist/homophobic/generally horrible comments, but the other part of me is glad that she did: it shows that Aryan is really awful, not just naive. The fact that she thinks her comments are the equivalent of someone referring to her as a “Barbie” is repulsive. It also brought to light that to her, racist and homophobic comments are not one and the same, as was evidenced by her calling Judd ‘queer’ after the convo with Amanda.

Has anyone figured out where she is actually from? I know she goes to school in San Marcos, but that’s not exactly a backwoods place. Texas State is actually more ethnically diverse that a lot of other Texas schools. I graduated from Texas A&M, and there is nary a minority in the whole town. I feel pretty comfortable saying that her comments would be out of place even there.

Thanks again, everyone – the recappers are truly amazing!

Holly crap! I’m so pissed at CBS for letting this get so out of hand. I’m sure it will make great TV over the next few episodes but this is ridiculous.

WW, thanks for putting up with this. Dashley, I agree with your take on Candice and Howard. I faced a similar dilemma when I first came to the US. I was starting high school in a very conservative area where there was a lot of immigrant hate. People got in my face daily, bullying me and telling me to go back to my own country, demanding to see my green card. I was like Candice, I found this outrageous and stood up to it, but it made me bitter, defensive, and it was totally exhausting. The longer it went on, the more I began to feel like Howard. Looking at being stuck there for four years, I began to keep a low profile, draw less attention to myself and ignore the taunts until they decided that I had realized that I had “learned my place” and moved on to someone else. It was a survival strategy that taught me a whole lot about self-restraint and taking the higher road, but it was also one that often made me feel like crap and a sell-out who was taking the path of least resistance.

I think Howard is in a similar place and I feel for him. At the same time, I think that Candice is totally right in wanting to confront this assholes out of principle. There are only 4 people, a minority in the house, and they are successfully pushing everyone else into hiding in the HOH room. What kind of message does that send, not only to those in the house, but everyone watching this? Unlike what I experienced, the majority here is on the right and they should realize that they have the power to ban together and not let these idiots get away with any of this. I think that Howard also needs to realize that this is a moment when he should stand up to this crap and worry a little less about getting further in the game.

What angers me most about all of this is production/CBS. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: if this show is willing to throw people out (or at least penalize) for physical confrontations or for the destruction of someone’s property, they should also have rules in place to prevent this kind of psychological abuse which can have serious consequences beyond this game. This will make great TV, I’m sure, but is going to be at the expense of Candice, Howard and everyone else that has been a target of these idiots. If CBS does not quickly and forcefully put a stop to this, they are also going to be teaching future contestants that this is a valid strategy to get further in the game, which is more than revolting.

I really have no idea what to say here. Reading the accounts of what happened last night really have put a damper on my day. I hate that Candice and Howard have to be the bigger person so they will not feed into the stereotype and Aaryn can continue her bad behavior. Aaryn maybe should have been on bad girls club instead of big brother.

@smango I think Aaryn would have still flipped over Candice’s bed because of how nasty she is to Elissa, but like you said she wouldn’t have changed how she speaks when confronted by Elissa.

Amanda is trying to help her but she does not she that what she is doing is wrong. When she does leave the house and someone shows her the montage of her ignorant comments I think that will actually be her wake up call. In her eyes she’s probably only said one or two things, not 10 minutes worth of comments. And since the others in the house are making a comments also she think “well it’s not just me.”

I am thrilled that she walked right into Julie’s trap. You don’t piss off the Chenbot… she’s married to Les Moonves; even if Aryan’s future career in tv wasn’t already screwed (with the exception of those various shows for the desperate…Rehab with Dr. Drew, BGC, I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, etc), pissing Julie off is a sure fire way to never, ever, ever see the light of a tv set again.

    Thanks for recapping, WhatWhat.

I 100% do NOT feel bad for Aaryn. I think she deserves all of the backlash she’ll more than likely experience once out of the house. I hate when people say, “I was born in the South. This is how I was raised. This is what I have been around my whole life.” Bullshit. I was born and raised in the South and I still live in the South to this day. How someone can still live in that sort of racist bubble is beyond me. She went to college. You have further education! Raise yourself up! Don’t continue to live your life as an ignorant asshole. Just because your parents/siblings/extended family have certain opinions, doesn’t mean that you should too. That’s how you break the chain. That’s how you raise future generations to have different views. GROW THE FUCK UP. Rant over.

Oh man, last night’s episode was awesome. I really hope TPTB show the bed flipping and ensuing argument. So happy for Helen. I like Elissa, but I hope someone else gets MVP this week, like Amanda or Judd. I really, really like those two.

I think Aaryn’s got several things working against her.

The first and most obvious is that most likely she grew up with people that talk like that all the time (probably her parents and friends). As much as I hate to admit it, there is some nasty racism here in the Lone Star State. Not that everyone is like that, but I went to a school were there were only 22 people in my graduating class. And some of the comments I would see on FB made me ill (delete).

The second is that Aaryn is attractive. Stay with me here…I was watching 30 Rock last night and the John Hamm episode was on. The one where Liz realizes that her oh-so dreamy boyfriend is so dumb and terrible at everything. And she deduces that it’s because he’s so attractive people are just nice to him all the time. He’s not funny like he thinks he is, he’s not as smart as he thinks he is, he’s not a great cook, he’s a terrible doctor and is just living in a bubble. Katilyn perfectly reflects the type of people that Aaryn has surrounded herself with her entire life. Girls who know she’s a bitch but don’t want to be on her bad side…and because she’s pretty, they want to hang out with her because it makes them part of the clique.

I think what’s going to happen to this girl is that she’s going to leave the BB House and either take a good long look in the mirror and see that she’s a nasty bitch, or she will justify her behavior and blame everyone else.

@Plockness, I totally agree with you. Look at Judd, he’s a perfect example. He’s from the south (so much so he needs subtitles sometimes) and not only does he not make the comments but he knows they aren’t okay. Aaryn is trash, pure and simple and GM is awful too. I give Howard major credit for keeping his cool. It’s one thing to say how you would react in that situation, but for him to actually be in it and walk away is pretty impressive. He’s so right though, blowing up on them would give them exactly what they want.

I didn’t think Jessie had it in her to stand up for herself. Good for her for not backing down to the bullies. Notice that when she made Kaitlin get off her bed, Kaitlin told her she was acting like she was in high school. Because apparently not allowing yourself to be pushed around is high school behavior. Then one of the girls made the comment about how Jessie still can’t be alone. I don’t know which one of the girls said it, but in each of their cases it was the pot calling the kettle black. Aaryn, GM, Katilin and Jeremy are vile.

Omfg. I …. I just… no. There’s no way in hell she (Aaryn Gries) did anything other than make a conscious decision to be racist. She’s college educated, which meant she spent plenty of time with “city folk” and she spent time in Colorado, too? It’s really white out here, but the prejudices here are more… what’s the word… silent? than down south. I’m from Georgia and racism is one of the reasons I left. And on a side note, I’m also not buying her ignorance. I’ll bet any amount of money that if she was the only white person in a room full of minorities she would watch her mouth. Even if she went to the Bad Girls Club we would never see this side of her. That also follows along the ‘everybody s doing it’ logic. Omg, just wrong. Okay, rant over.

I know a number of people are calling for Aaryn to be kicked off the show. I for one want her to be eliminated like the rest of the house guests. If she’s kicked off she’s so ignorant that she would just say the minorities ganged up against her b/c she’s beautiful and minorities are just sensitive. I want her to lose fair and square and get that icy interview from Julie.

Well at least Big Brother let H and C sleep on the floor. Generally that’s not allowed.

Good for Jessie. But I think Jessie is probably a mean girl outside of the big brother house but she didn’t make the cut with this group so that’s why she was able to stand up for herself.

I think someone mentioned this in the comments last night, but the audience last night was noticeably quieter than they were last week. Anyone know what was up with that? My theory (which is absolutely scientific) is that they may be trying to keep the Klan oblivious as to how much they are hated, so that we, the viewers, are able to get the satisfaction of watching their shock and awe when they are greeted to mass hysteria and gang-style ass kickings when they are evicted.

Howard and Candice didn’t just sleep on the floor. They were in the Have Not room for HOURS in the airplane seats, and neither of them could sleep because Candice was crying too hard. Spencer and Andy both offered their beds to them, but Candice just really wanted to be with Howard. Eventually, at almost 4 AM, Candice realized that even though she was in the HN room, she wasn’t actually a HN, so she started ripping the seat cushions out of the airplane seats so that they could make a bed on the floor with them.
But just think for a second: Candice and Howard, the two black people in the house, were pushed into a room that is actually called the HAVE NOT ROOM by the white racist. What’s next? Are they going to need their own toilet with a sign hanging over it that says “blacks?”

Another thing that pisses me off about this and that shows what a hateful person Aaryn Gries is, is that she made Candice into the scapegoat for this whole thing. Sure, Candice figured out the boys alliance thing, but Helen is the one that rallied most of the lobbying for the votes against Nick and it was Amanda, PizzaBoy and Spencer who betrayed their alliance. But then again, none of them were the right shade of guilty.

Classy.. I think that GM was more implying that Candace is using her ‘blackness’ to create a racial divide. I’m with you Chooch, BB should have said something. I even suspect that they saw this coming down the pike but did nothing (honoring that BB prime directive I guess).

If you look at the video clip closely, you’ll notice that this whole thing was planned by Jeremy, Aryan and Kaitlin. They all came in in a row and started to take spots on the other people’s beds to mess with them. Clearly Aryan did most of the dirty work, but during her whole “ghetto speak” taunts to Candice she kept looking over to her left, where Jeremy and Kaitlin were, for approval and validation.

I’m sure that both of those assholes were eating the whole thing up. I wouldn’t be surprised if Jeremy was banking on Aryan saying all of this racist crap so that the heat stayed off him. He was probably the mastermind of this whole retaliation scheme and Aryan going the extra mile was just the kind of bonus he was hoping for. Whether evicted or kicked out, I’m afraid that she is going to be made the single scapegoat and all of this crap, and everyone else will say that they didn’t catch themselves falling under her toxic influence. Makes for a good story, but it totally ignores the fact that Jeremy has been calling most of the shots for that little group of bastards.

I don’t have the feeds, and I don’t know if they came on after the show and caught Jeremy, Aryan, Kaitlin (not sure if GM was in on the convo since she was having a meltdown after the show) talking about this plan. Maybe someone can go back and find out? I think that if there was a plan, it needs to be brought to light because Jeremy, Kaitlin and GM are not mere passive bystanders but are encouraging and enabling all of this and they need to be called on it too.

Smango – Pure speculation on my part, but I assumed the audience was silent becasuse the HG’s are supposed to have NO CLUE what is going on in the outside world until they are evicted from the house. This would include what America thinks of them, or what they preceive America thinks of them.

Did you watch it again? I think GM was implying black side = ghetto in regards to Candice. Then in another breath she mentioned the black side and white side. She was making two different points.

But I think we are still making the same point. GM thinks that Howard and Candice are trying to create a racial divide so they probably make comments about white people like GM and Aaryn make comments about other minorities. I am also taking GM’s “token” comment into account also.

If I remember correctly, after people booed when Aaryn made her vote and cheered when someone else voted for David (I can’t remember who it was), I heard someone (I’m assuming a producer) shushing the crowd and then there wasn’t a peep after that. And I’m assuming it was for the reason you mentioned, Plockness. They shouldn’t be hearing the reaction from the crowd.

How do you all think this should be handled? It looks like a sure thing that Helen will put up at least Jeremy and Aaryn. They could do a double elimination this week and put up four people, 3 from HOH and one from MVP. I feel like they could also do an intervention, perhaps Zing-bot style, but show some of the footage to the gathered HG’s and explain that’s just not done, and if it continues they will be removed from the house.

I’m not sure they can just remove all the people who have said racial things, GM has been just as gross to me as Aaryn, and GM seems a bit brighter, whereas Aaryn is an idiot. I swear her parents were KKK . . . I swear!

I would want them to leave the girls in the house and let them lose fair and square so they would have no one to blame about their being outsted. But as I think about it that’s not fair to Howard and Candice and the other people who are bullied in the house.

I think they should show these girls a montage of their comments in the diary room. Tell them what they are doing is wrong and offer them a warning. If they make one more slip up they are gone from the house.

That way they have no time to prepare a defense, weak as it may be.. just let them be evicted in a cloud of betrayal and vengeance, then get hit with a verbal onslaught of their awfulness, compiled in a montage and set to the the boos and jeers of the live audience. When the video fades to black, Julie will not speak. She will just turn to Aryan and arch one eyebrow.

What ever happened to penalties assigned to HGs for breaking rules? At the very least they should make the guilty parties have-nots, wear ridiculous outfits, or find some other way singling them out and send the message that this crap will not be tolerated. @classy, I’m glad you mentioned Howard being a youth counselor. On top of not wanting to be seen as the angry black man, I assume he is also wanting to be a good role model to the youth he works with, which adds a whole nother side to it. Unlike creepy Adam who won a few seasons back (and is now in jail for heading a drug ring) who said the autistic kids he worked with were so great and then referred to them as retards. I know Howard isn’t perfect and has made a few misogynistic comments (which I don’t think were anything like what Jeremy and Spencer have been saying) here and there, but over all I think he is a good man and a good example of how to handle bigotry and hatred.

They got rid of the Hantz when he got physical, this kind of bullying feels as bad as that, to me . . . and even though I haven’t seen it yet, I agree that they seemed like they were trying to force a “Hantz” reaction from Candice and Howard, which is also wrong.

Someone brought up Evel Dick dumping a coke on Jen’s head. I thought all that was terrible, but they didn’t interfere with it then.

If they are going to boot them tho, I do think warning them ahead of time would be appropriate.

I’m also not sure if Julie would do an interview with Aaryn, it would be loaded for sure. I’m thinking, that if they showed her the montage of her remarks, she might even snicker at it.

As to the audience, I know they would be told not to boo, but could remain silent for her exit . . . but who knows, perhaps they would enjoy a good blood-letting!

I don’t know why Andy and Spencer didn’t sleep together so that Candice and Howard could be together in one bed (I’m guessing Spencer would have wanted Howard with him, ; )

How odd is this to look at! I’m so used to seeing these two in that stupid airplane terminal room and now here they are all comfy in the HOH bed! Well, they were up there talking this morning about who Helen was going to nominate. She wants to back-door Jeremy so they are planning on putting up the two girls, Kaitlin & Aaryn. If it doesn’t work, then Aaryn will be the one to go home. She knows that Spencer and Howard are the two who fucked up the 4th vote, one or the other did, not Jessie. But they’ve decided to NOT let on to either of them that they know that they are lying snakes… especially Spencer. They aren’t going to tell Candice either. It’s better she doesn’t know anyways. Helen really likes Judd, that he remains calm and cool as a cucumber and he makes a great BFF. She also thinks Pizza Boy is a good ally.

When they go downstairs, Helen tells Jessie that she knows she voted to evict Nick. Jessie tells her that she’s glad she finally belongs somewhere. It was starting to feel just like HS, she was friends with the cool kids and the nerds and she didn’t fit in either place.

Right now they are playing the “Have-Not” competition…..

@smango, you are right, Jen destroyed ED’s cigarettes because he kept blowing the smoke in her face and then burned her with his cigarette. Thinking about that also reminded me of how she started balling when she saw her picture on the wall that first day and thought she looked so ugly. I now have three favorite over the top crying BB moments:

    Jen crying over her picture
Rachel sobbing in the bushes after a challenge

Elissa hasn’t officially won MVP yet – they won’t tell the MVP winner that they’re MVP until after nominations. That screencap was another site promoting that their poll says she’s going to win again. I voted half for Amanda and half for McCrae, but that was before the crazy racist stuff that happened last night. I would have thrown all my votes to Candice.
And I’m not a Survivor fan, but I thought the Hantz that was on BB was the brother of the Hantz that was on Survivor?
Spencer is weird about sharing a bed with Andy, so Andy and Judd slept in the same bed, and Andy offered his spot to Candice, but she thanked him and turned him down because she wanted to sleep with Howard. Spencer offered his bed to the two of them. THey both turned him down, and I’m not as clear on the reasons why- I think originally, Howard wanted a night by himself and was hoping Candice would sleep with Spencer, but Candice was stuck to Howard like glue last night, because he was the only one making her feel any better.

@Dashley – There are about 7 Hantzes floating around the various CBS reality shows. It seems that way, but actually there are three. One is the brother of the original gnome, the other is a nephew (but not sure if the son of previous) of the OG. I don’t remember which one was on BB. I feel like one of them had a “Hantz” tattoo on his arm, back or neck or something, that gave him away, but that may be the one that was on Survivor. They all blur together in a haze of cajun accents and stupidity.

Oh my…. Helen was just talking to Andy before the competition and she want to put up Aaryn, Kaitlyn and Gina Marie with the idea of back-dooring Jeremy. If Jeremy wins the VETO, then they will replace him with Spencer. Helen says her target is NOT Aaryn, she would like to keep her around for awhile. Andy tells her that he’s been talking to Kaitlin and she wants to distance herself from Aaryn and Jeremy. Helen tells Andy to go back to Kaitlin and tell her that they will keep her safe from eviction this week if she can keep Jeremy from coming after them next week, if he happens to stay in the house. I forgot about Helen’s secret alliance with Aaryn!

Turns out Amanda told Helen about MC “just in the nick of time,” before Jeremy could. Helen is reassuring McCrae the she DOES trust him, and she played along with Jeremy, but she recognizes that he was just trying to save his own ass.

Helen and McCrae have also figured out that the one errant vote to evict Elissa was Howard’s. These people aren’t dumb. I just wish they wouldn’t all talk so much, because by the end of the night, every single person in that house will know every word that is said in this conversation.

Helen asked Howard to come up to her room. She left him there alone while she ran downstairs to grab a plate, and he looked NERVOUS while waiting – he was super twitchy.

Howard tells Helen that he was trying to throw the HN comp because he was on a team with people that he wanted to see be have nots.
She hints heavily, trying to get him to tell her about MC, but he doesn’t tell her. She says “don’t lie to me,” and he tries to divert attention to McCrae and Spencer, saying he can’t speak for them. She asks him why the vote for Nick wasn’t 8-3, and he tries to convince her that Judd voted for Elissa to be evicted. Helen keeps returning to that one vote, giving him every opportunity, and Howard just isn’t owning up to it.

Kaitlin has begun to calculate the repercussions of the MC alliance, and she’s getting PISSED at Jeremy. She wonders if they were responsible for evicting David (he denies it, but says he knows Nick voted for David,) accuses Jeremy of lying (he says he just didn’t tell her the full truth,) and tells him that Amanda told her Jeremy said he didn’t give a shit if Kaitlin stayed or went. He calls the notion that Kaitlin would believe THAT “retarded,” and Candice chose that moment to unknowingly interrupt the argument. Now they’re just sitting in awkward silence.

    A) Howard was the weird vote
    B) He did it in hopes of pinning it on Amanda
    C) He has already admitted all this to Helen
    D) Helen was suspicious of Spencer, but not anymore, because Howard owned up to the vote

Howard also thinks that Helen believed him that he wasn’t part of the guy alliance, and advises Spencer to support him by telling Helen that he was in a group that wasn’t so much an alliance as a group that protected each other (ummm… isn’t that the definition of an alliance?) Oh man, this is going to BLOW UP in Howard’s face. He’s so concerned about Spencer’s safety, Helen’s safety, and Candice’s safety that he’s making dumb moves for himself.

Aaryn hasn’t been on the feeds very much this afternoon, so it’s nice to see we haven’t missed much: she’s still singing the same song as last night. She’s currently confronting Jessie (again), going round and round in circles, wondering how on EARTH Jessie would dare lie about the vote before the eviction, and hasn’t Aaryn always been nice to her even though Jessie talks behind her back, and blah blah blah blah.

Kaitlin woke up and she’s finally playing this game. She’s proposing to Andy a final four deal with Jeremy, Kaitlin, Andy, and Helen. Andy’s even playing along with her. No way in hell are Andy and Helen ever going to feel any sort of lasting loyalty to Jeremy and Kaitlin, but at least she’s trying.

It’s Aryan’s turn to sit down with Helen. Aryan basically appeals to Helen because everyone was lying to her, and she feels blindsided. Helen asks Aryan who is more disloyal to Helen: Howard or Spencer, because she knows they’re both lying to her. There was a cut to fish, so I don’t know if she got an answer. Helen tells Aryan about the Moving Company. Aryan barely blinks before making herself a victim, and tries to cast doubt on Amanda being honest with Helen. Helen tells Aryan she’s going up as a pawn. I’m switching over to the other cameras because I’m sick of listening to Aryan whine about how everyone done her wrong.

McCrae tells Amanda that he thinks Howard is the biggest target right now, because his religion makes him SEEM more honest, which makes him more dangerous. They want to make his eviction a priority over Aryan or Spencer.

So Howard apparently fessed up that yes, he was the one vote for Elissa to Helen. He has, however, been adamant that he knew nothing of a boy’s alliance. Helen already knows about the MC because Amanda told her and then Jeremy came in and told her just after that, so she knows Howard is still lying.

I’m pretty sure GM is going to stay off the block this week unless someone majorly changes Helen’s mind – honestly it’s not a bad thing, GM’s been really emotional and putting her on the block could send her over the edge entirely. I don’t really want to see her self-evict, I want to see her play the game, so giving her a week to just recup isn’t a bad idea.

Hoping we’ll see Aaryn/Kait/Howard on the block. Helen seems to be wanting to scare the hell out of Howard in an effort to get him back on their side. If someone wins veto and takes themselves off the block, Helen will backdoor Jeremy. If nobody takes themselves off the block, Aaryn is a goner.

…man I hope Aaryn’s out this week. To be perfectly honest, I don’t want an audience there when she is booted out. I want her to exit that house thinking she’s going to get cheering and applause to be greeted by a completely empty, dead studio, with the exception of Julie Chen.

Who stands there. And presents Aaryn with a bowl of rice, smiles that serene Chen-bot smile and simply lets the footage roll.

Aaryn and Kaitlin were nominated for eviction I believe. They’re saving Howard for MVP. Helen is talking right now with Amanda and McCrae in HoH and they’re talking very seriously about getting rid of Howard – Helen and Amanda are saying Howard or Jeremy should be the target, says that Aaryn is lost right now and off in her own little world, she’s isolated and therefore likely willing to vote with the house since she hasn’t really got anyone else to turn to right now.

Spencer just told her about the “group” that was formed – that it was Nick who went to all of them and wanted to form a group, said McCrae was part of it. She asks him if Howard was part of it, he says yes. She thanks him for being honest (ohhhh Howard, you just got exposed in a lie again). She says “so this Moving Company was all Nick’s idea” – uh, I don’t know if Spencer knows that she was aware of the Moving Company or not.

Aw she’s crying – says she trusted Howard and Spencer over everyone else and now she looks like an idiot in front of America – calms herself down. Sounds like Spencer is now trying to throw Jeremy under the bus like crazy, says that he doesn’t like the way Jeremy talks to people.

Says the guy who has called every woman in the house a c-word more than he’s called them by name.

The feeds are back, and Aaryn and Kaitlin have been nominated.

Jeremy goes into Protect Kaitlin mode and pulls Andy aside to bond. He tells him about the Moving Company, and Andy acts SHOCKED. Jeremy emphasizes that he was loyal, and the other guys blew it up.

Spencer has Helen alone in the HoH and he’s giving a Trust Me pitch. He’s doing a much better job owning up to the truth about the Guys Alliance than Howard did.

Helen is using this HoH power BEAUTIFULLY. Everyone, including the other side, trusts her and wants to protect her, even the people she put up for nomination. She’s crying to Spencer, saying she’ll forgive him for violating her trust, but she won’t forgive him twice, and he’s just self-flagellating over the whole thing. This one HoH should keep her safe for WEEKS, she just needs to lay low for a while after this week. It’s a thing of beauty, it really is.

Aryan is crying in the cockpit about being nominated, and McManda are reassuring her that she’s not the target. They encourage her to distance herself from Jeremy bc he can’t keep her safe, and he’s building too many sub alliances to protect her. They fill her in that Howard is the REAL target bc he’s more threatening. Jeremy crashes the conversation and it turns to food, being in the house is torture, etc. They might make slop chips for the guacamole! And Jeremy has stupid conceptions about how the episodes are ordered and edited, and thus ensues a long boring conversation about that. This is really exciting stuff, folks.
Everyone is making dinner, and Jeremy stands right over Candice’s shoulder as she’s frying chicken, and he says he’s taking mental notes because it was so good the last time, and he wants to know how to do it. He compliments Helen on her nomination speech.
Andy asks Helen if he can host the POV comp, and Helen tells him that the second she won HoH, Judd asked her if he could host the POV, so Andy has to get in line! They all start practicing cheesy veto voiceovers, like a comp w/ cows: “Judd is udderly on the floor!” “GinaMarie is up a creek without a paddle!”
Spencer is telling Howard about the conversation he had with Helen, and tells Howard he came clean about MC because it was best for both of them to do so. He also mentions that he’s going to pull Andy aside to tell him everything. (At this point, they should just hold a house meeting, right?) He tells Howard that he HAD to come clean to Helen, bc McManda had already done it and “sold them out.”
Jeremy is giving McCrae a guilt trip about abandoning the MC and voting against Nick, and McCrae gives a dismissive, “Yeah. The grass was greener.” Jeremy backtracks and says that he’s not threatening or anything, at least he trusts him more than the other two because even though Howard voted the way he was supposed two, both he and Spencer lied to his face, and McCrae is being honest.

Helen is kicking ass and nobody even knows it! LOL LOve it.

I wasn’t suprised that her and Elissa teamed up from the begining. But I am glad they did now that we are aware of what kind of scuzzy game many of the others are playing. Hey, I wasn’t too happy that R’s sister was in the game, at first. I expected her to be on the block every week (she has been) but I also expected her to kick ass in the challenges like R did..(she hasn’t) I’m not sure if she is throwing them or not. I like not knowing. Especially since we know everything about everybody right down to their race hate and boobies with band-aids.

I want to keep Aryan around longer.I want her to be the last of her ilk to go. I want her to be there with people she has treated like shit. The problem with my want is the fact that the people that she treated badly will not treat her the same and she will figure as long as the end result is to her advantage, no biggie.

McCrae compliments that Jeremy is laying low, and Jeremy asks him to get Amanda off his back, and then calls Elissa a bitch.
McCrae seems stuck. He is not thrilled about this conversation. Jeremy bounces ideas off of him about how to approach Elissa and cut a deal with her. Jeremy considers secretly campaigning against Kaitlin, and says he wouldn’t feel that bad about it, because “the bitch can’t win!” Pizza boy advises Jeremy to lay low, because right now, he’s a bigger threat to everyone than Aaryn, because she has no one, and Jeremy wins comps. Jeremy asks, “You’d put me up, wouldn’t you?” And McCrae confirms that he would.

Amanda, Andy, and Helen are in HoH patting their backs about making the big move to evict Nick. They discuss the various deals they all made today, and agree to keep playing those cards. Andy laughs about how “flabbergasted” he seemed when Jeremy told him about the MC. Pizza Boy joins them, and Helen congratulates him on earning her trust because he was the first one to come clean about the MC. They also shake their heads about how untrustworthy Howard is.
Amanda says that the three others in that room (McCrae, Andy, Helen) plus Judd are the only other players she actually feels loyal to, and everyone else agrees. They all discuss what to tell Elissa in order to control her (assumed) MVP nomination. They’re going to leave Helen and Elissa alone, and McCrae will join them to come clean and apologize about the MC to Elissa. They start to talk about Candice being effected by her crush on Howard, and Jeremy shows up and the party breaks up.

At some point this evening, Helen said that the show did not want them to put up Howard. I don’t know if this is Helen saying that America probably likes Howard, or production is telling her to keep him in – but given that the statement was followed by fish, I’m inclined to believe they told Helen not to put up Howard in the DR. McCrae and Amanda are still gung ho about it. It appears that Elissa is MVP again, because they’re both talking to her and telling her they will take the blame and say that they are MVP so she doesn’t get any flack for it. She doesn’t want to do it and says she’s tired of having the blood on her hands – she wants to put Spencer on the block because she doesn’t want Howard coming after her.

McCrae flat out asked her when she had to go to the DR and nominate, so I think that’s pretty much confirmation that Elissa is MVP for the third week straight. Drat. I flipped all my votes to Helen because I wanted her to have all the power.

I think it’d make far more sense, at this point, to put up Spencer. He can win veto if he wants off – and if they can’t backdoor Jeremy, they can get Aaryn. Give Howard a break for a week, they already know how much they can trust him (which isn’t much), they can get rid of him later.

McCrae just told Candace he got MVP (he didn’t, Elissa has it) – then started talking to her about the possibility of nominating Howard, as he was the only one that lied to their faces. Candice was upset about this, defending him and saying he’s the only one in the house she can count on to defend her – she went to him and told him McCrae got MVP, and Howard’s response was to say he’ll go to HOH and volunteer to be put on the block.

Not sure if he’s actually going to do it or not. If he does, man #1 – he has balls of steel, and #2 – if this doesn’t show Helen, McCrae and Amanda that he is being truthful about wanting to be loyal, absolutely nothing will.

Ohhhhhhhhh snap. Elissa came back from the DR. Has a shocked look on her face. Says she doesn’t think she got MVP. Amanda says “What, what did they do then” and Elissa says they just asked about the conversations, that’s all – Fish now

Oooooooo this might get interesting. What if they gave Howard or Candace MVP? Amanda is baffled and upset, says that right now it looks like Elissa went down and voted for somebody else. Elissa says she’s been the only one who’s told anyone ANYTHING in this game. Elissa wants to know why it makes a difference even if she doesn’t get MVP, since Jeremy is the target.

Keep in mind we have not seen a screenshot ANYWHERE of Elissa getting that MVP card.

Oooo, okay apparently Elissa WAS MVP. She’s upset because nobody talked to her or said anything about it. Finally fessed up, said she put up Spencer. Says she was upset because nobody came to her and talked to her about it – Helen didn’t even talk to her about the nominations SHE made.

  • #269136

Amanda is absolutely flabbergasted about this, pointing out that everyone on this alliance risked themselves to keep her, and Howard was the ONLY VOTE IN THEIR ALLIANCE against her. She doesn’t understand why Elissa didn’t nominate the one guy who voted against her. Now they’re trying to figure out how to explain it because McCrae’s already said he’s MVP and he’s putting up Howard, and Spencer’s actually the one who is going to be nominated.

Apparently they are getting up early tomorrow. This is interesting, what are they going to be doing? They did the HoH/nominations already.

Elissa is crying and upset, Helen and Judd are comforting her, she’s upset because now Amanda and McCrae are mad at her. Helen says “don’t let them bully you” and Elissa says they weren’t bullying her, they had a right to be mad, but she didn’t want to make them mad, and maybe she should just go home. Helen’s telling her not to worry about it. Is explaining the argument Amanda and Howard had earlier – Howard basically accused Amanda of starting a rumor about a ‘minority alliance,’ Amanda is livid because she’s been the only one to go to Aaryn and yell at her about the racist comments.

Elissa says she just wants to go home, she doesn’t want anyone angry at her, Helen is comforting her and telling her it’s okay, says Jeremy is the target, it’ll all be fine.

Amanda and McCrae went to go talk to Howard. Probably going to tell him they’ve changed their minds and they’re going to put up Spencer instead.

Elissa is really upset because everyone is making decisions about her and her MVP power and they aren’t consulting her or telling her anything that is going on. Helen’s trying to explain to her that she didn’t get any time to talk to anyone.

McCrae is attempting to make amends with Howard – if he plays his cards right, he’ll be able to change his story without too much trouble.

OOOOOOOO and Aaryn just went to Amanda in the kitchen, said she could hear what was going on upstairs and something about “racist” and then the cameras cut elsewhere

I think they should keep Howard around. For one, the reason Howard voted for Nick is because he’s loyal — a good trait. Two: he voted for Nick because he was out of the loop and didn’t realize his alliance had already gone down in flames. In other words, as nice as he is, he isn’t the brightest bulb in the bunch. So it’s better to keep him over Spencer (shifty shit) and Jeremey (asshat who wins too many comps). And Three: Keeping Howie keeps Candice happy, and she’s a good ally — she’s smart, after all. She was the first to figure out the whole MC thing.

I sincerely hope they get rid of Jeremy though. He’s the worst. Aaryn may be a complete idiot, but she’s only 5’3″ — it’s just words with her. What Jeremy was doing to Jessie on the other hand…that was scary as hell.

There is a part of me that hopes the reason they want to keep him around is that he’s had such a shitty couple of days defending Candice and production really, really, REALLY wants to get either Jeremy or Aaryn out of there – preferably Aaryn, I am guessing. They want her gone. She’s causing too much trouble, and they want to get her out of there without just ejecting her from the house.

Itchy, Howard knew full well the votes were against Nick and has since admitted (even to Helen) that the reason he voted to evict Elissa was not out of loyalty to Nick but that he was hoping to point the finger at Amanda and cast suspicion on her. I think Spencer may have helped him with that plan – not entirely sure.
Either way, it’s way too complicated a plan to have worked. He should have known better.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Spencer came up with the idea and talked Howard into voting the other way so that he could out him later and throw the heat off him. Itchy, I think you are right about the reasons to keep Howard. On the other hand, I’m also glad that Helen decided to follow through with putting him up, even with production in her ear trying to influence the game. She’s definitely a strong and independent player. Hopefully it won’t end up working against it.

As for Elissa, I’m not sure why is she so surprised that people are deciding what to do with her vote without talking to her. The entire house has been doing this from the start. I think I’m starting to see hints of Rachel with her. She’s beginning to whine like her. At least, that’s not as annoying as the gloating.

I’m the first one to bitch when production sticks it’s nose into the houseguests business, especially when it’s something seriously like nominations, BUT I have to go along with them this time. It’s just stupid to put Howard on the block right now and not because he’s the “token” black guy. I can see way CBS doesn’t want him going home. right now he’s at the center of their storyline and that would seriously fuck up their storyline, so that I do object to, but Helen’s reason is just as bad as Aaryn’s for putting up Elissa.

Helen has gone from the poor little thing that spent 2 weeks in the have-not room starving to death and being bullied by Jeremy to QUEEN Helen, sitting in that big HOH bed, declaring “off with his head” to the one who dared to vote against her! It’s fucking BIG BROTHER! You are SUPPOSE to lie! And you don’t have to tell ANYONE that you did. It’s part of the game. WTF… has Helen forgotten how awful the last two weeks have been? That Jeremy and Co. have bullied and terrorized her friends at every turn, especially Elissa, her “golden goose” and Candice, both who helped her get to her position of power. She has the balls to tell everyone they will be safe next week, cutting deals with them, because she has Elissa, and she controls her and the MVP vote. Well HA! Guess that didn’t work out so well for Queen Helen now did it! Seems Elissa ISN’T controlled by Helen. She’s controlled by the PRODUCERS!

Why isn’t the MVP kept totally anonymous? I thought it was in the original rules that the MVP couldn’t reveal themself to the other HGs, just make his/her nom privately. Like America’s Player. It would be more fun that way. The way it is now, why not just have production announce it to the whole house. It would be better that if the MVP reveals themself to anyone, they forfeit the power.

BB made the cast members get up at 6:30am this morning. They are thinking it’s going to be an early VETO competition.

Queen Helen was up and running having meeting trying to do damage control from the overnight blow-outs from producers, I mean, Elissa’s decision to use her MVP vote on Spencer instead of Howard.

Her first meeting was with the Queen’s “Hand” Andy, so he could get his instructions for the day and gather all the vital information she would need and report back to her later.
    null
She told him about the boig blow-up between Pizza Boy and Howard last night over Elissa not putting Howard up as the MVP nom as planned. Now PB & Amanda are all paranoid that they will be the #1 targets next week, especially now that Spencer will be on the block. He HATES Amanda. It’s a total betrayal in their eyes. Helen tells Andy that his mission is to start to build trust with PB & Amanda again. Throw somebody under the bus, but make sure they don’t fuck up our game! Well, she didn’t say it that way, but that’s what she meant. Off Andy went to work his special magic!

    null
Waiting for her morning consultation was Aaryn, who the Queen just wanted to assure that she was fully protected from all harm. She and Kaitlin were only pawns and not at all in harms way. In fact, Aaryn was so far down on the radar now that she was damn near non-existent. She didn’t need to worry her pretty little head off about a thing today. Just smile and be happy!

In the Have-not room, Amanda is foaming at the mouth. she is still in a tizzy over elissa fucking up the MVP nomination. How could that girl be so fucking stupid. That sat with her for a half an hour telling her why it was so important to put Howard up and she goes and puts up Spencer. It makes no fucking sense! Andy just sits and listens to her rant and agrees that it doesn’t make much sense to him either. Judd is in the room with them. Amanda is sure that Elissa has some sort of deal with Howard and now, because of it, her and Pizza Boy, who went out of his way to break up the Moving company, are going to pay the price. That;s the thanks he gets for sticking his neck out like he did… getting it chopped off! Then that fucking whore Aaryn tells me that Queen Helen is protecting HER! Keeping HER fucking safe… her & Candice… WTF? “She just royally fucked us and she doesn’t fucking care!” *** chooch note: if it’s in quotation marks, the HG actually said the words, if not, I embellished them a tad to get the emotion and the point across. This is for those who don’t know how I recap. I listen to the convo & then I write what I heard. If it’s really important, I will write it word for word***

Thanks for the updates Chooch! I am at work trying to close out the quarter books so it’s fun to have some good reading.

I believe your right Chooch. The producers want to keep Howard on because of the storyline. I agree with Itchy too about the showmance portion also. I still think Jeremy should be the number on target because he can actually win competitions.

I wonder how Helen is going to feel when she finds out the nasty things Aaryn said about her. I think Helen’s plan is a good one because she secretly has someone on the other side of the house, but it’s not going to feel good knowing that you protected the sorry sack of shit.

Helen arrived to bail Andy out. She starts right out with an apology. She tells Amanda that she never should have let Howard talk to her that way last night. She should have thrown him out of the HOH room and she apologizes for not doing that. No one should be spoken to like that and especially not a woman. Howard was out of control ans should have been called out for it. Amanda starts in again on the whole “Elissa is a dumbass & me and Pizza Boy are gonna pay for it” whine again. Helen AGAIN apologizes for not putting Howard on the block herself, but claims she was trying to find out if Spencer was worse. she tells Amanda that we have to focus on Jeremy now. He’s been a holy terror for 3 weeks and we can still get him out. If not, then we go for Aaryn… yah… right!

Right now …. Helen is helping Aaryn work out in the storeroom, preparing for the VETO competition, doing all of these jumping jacks and aerobic moves to get her muscles ready. She tells Aaryn “If I win the veto, I’m going to say this is for all of the people who’ve been abused, mistreated. Jeremy, take a seat.”

My feeds are sooo fucked up today. They keep jumping to Helen from last night, laying in the HOH bed, wearing her blue dress talking about how hurt and surprised she is about Howard. She’s talking to Amanda. I try to go live and it will give me about 2 seconds of live feeds and it’s right back to the same scene. If I use flashback, it’s the same thing. I tried it on Firefox and Internet Explorer… same same same… so I give up!

I can tell you this much. Jeremy knows he’s going to be back-doored. Kaitlin’s been told. she had GinaMarie in the storeroom pleading with her to not use the VETO if she wins it. If she does, then Jeremy will go on the block and go home and it will absolutely KILL her. She won’t be able to stand sitting next to him on the eviction couch. all she will do is cry. Kaitlin’s been warned, maybe by Andy, that if she wins the VETO and doesn’t save herself, then she’s definitely going home. But if she DOES save herself, then Jeremy is her replacement and she can’t do that to him, she just CAN’T!

Jeremy, in the meantime, wants to cut a deal with Helen to stop his eviction. He stopped her on the HOH stairs and asked if it was true that he was the target. She said he was one of 2 targets. It depended on who can help her the most in the next few weeks going forward and she leaves him with that to think about.

Jeremy seeks out the Queen’s Hand Andy, after thinking about what offer he could use if they’d keep him this week and he tells Andy that he’d let them pick the nominations IF he wins HOH. It would show how loyal he really was. Andy’s not sure that would be enough. Jeremy asks him to take it to the Queen, but Andy says he needs to speak to her majesty himself. Jeremy agrees, but says if he doesn’t get the chance, would Andy bend the Queen’s ear for him. Andy just nods. Off with his head!

    From JOKERS:

Aaryn: The last thing I’m gonna do is go out looking like an idiot. … I’ve bit my tongue on a lot of things.

Aaryn: I’m not going to stay her and be someone that I’m not.

Aaryn: I’m gonna say what I want to say, and do what I want to do.

Aaryn: I knew I had a target on my back because I’m blond, blue-eyed, a girl from Texas.

Jeremy: My only downfall is I came in kicking a** too soon too fast.

Jeremy: I’ll leave in a blaze of glory. I played it clean and straight up.

I really want Jeremy gone. He’s the worst of the bunch. Aaryn has been reduced to nothing at this point, she’s just a pariah, so she might as well stay and be useful (to Helen). And it’s unlikely she’ll win any competitions by herself.

I imagine Helen wanted to put Howard up just to put the fear of god in him, but the target was and should be Jeremy.

This was all last night Itchy – Amanda wanted Howard put up on the block as the MVP nominee because Howard was the only one out of their alliance to vote for Elissa to go home and then flat-out lie about it. He got caught in the lie and fessed up, but out of everyone that decided to get Nick out, Howard was the only one that voted Elissa instead – with the intent of pinning that vote on Amanda.

They had a big discussion in the HoH room when Howard came upstairs – he was under the impression that McCrae was MVP. Howard said the reason he didn’t trust Amanda was because he was protecting his original alliance – the Moving Company – and said it wasn’t anything personal, he was just loyal to who he was loyal to, and now that the Moving Company was gone, he was loyal to Helen and her crew. And THEN he said “besides you were going around bringing the race thing into it and saying there was a minority alliance” – that’s what got Amanda REALLY UPSET. For good reason – the whole “minority alliance” thing was something that Aaryn made up. Aaryn assumed there had to be a “minority alliance” because Amanda came upstairs and tried to gently tell her to be mindful of all the racist shit she’s spewing. That’s the conversation we saw on TV the other night. You saw how well that went.

Instead of actually listening to what Amanda was saying, Aaryn assumed that Amanda was trying to warn her that some “minority alliance” was out there that was gunning for her. And then she told Jeremy. Who told someone else, who told someone else, you know the game of telephone – eventually that got back to Howard, and he believed it and thought Amanda was trying to throw him under the bus. Amanda was livid about this because seriously, she’s been the only person to go up to Aaryn and confront her about the things she’s said, tell her that they are wrong and she shouldn’t be saying them. She’s been the ONLY PERSON to stand up to Aaryn and defend Howard, Candice and Helen. THE ONLY ONE.

Plus there was something thrown in there about McCrae being part of the Moving Company pretty much because he won HoH, otherwise they would have ignored him, hell they ignored him most of the time anyway – Amanda said that I think. Howard said it should be understandable to Amanda, because she wouldn’t be with McCrae if he weren’t HoH the first week – implying the only reason she slept with him upstairs was because he happened to be the first HoH. Amanda’s pissed about that too, because she honestly likes PB and she said if she was only sticking with him because he was HoH why the hell was she still with him now, and Howard said ‘well feelings grow’ and Amanda said it wasn’t like that and Howard said yeah, but he assumed that was the case, same as Amanda assumed McCrae was only in MC because of HoH, and Amanda was sitting there going look that is not the same thing, one of these things is gameplay and the other is very personal and I don’t appreciate that implication.

Amanda is basically really upset with Howard because he lied flat-out to everyone’s faces, implied she was trying to start some sort of race war (which uh…yeah he’s going to look at the tapes when he’s out and I think he’s going to be kicking himself about that), and implied she only slept with McCrae because he was HoH and she wanted to whore herself out, essentially.

She wanted Elissa to put Howard up to scare the everloving shit out of him, but also to teach him a lesson, because – and this makes logical sense – he was literally the only person in their alliance that did NOT vote to keep Elissa. Elissa didn’t want to do it. She felt really uncomfortable about doing it, so she nominated Spencer instead. Meanwhile PB already told Howard that HE was MVP and he was going to nominate Howard, to try and take the flak off of Elissa for it, because Elissa was worried about potential backlash from Howard. So Elissa nominated Spencer, PB had to go to Spencer and invent a fake reason why he decided to put Spencer up instead, and now he and Amanda are really really pissed at Elissa because they think they’re going to be in the line of fire next week.

It’s basically a bunch of misunderstandings. Helen is trying (valiantly) to remind people that Jeremy is the real target here so honestly they shouldn’t even be worried about Howard or Spencer right now. Doesn’t matter, Jeremy will be going home.

Yep, Jeremy’s got to go. Without him, Aryan won’t have the support system to say all the crap she has been saying (hopefully) and will become irrelevant.

The only thing that worries me a little is that if she sticks around much longer than next week and regains some of her confidence, that she will start pushing Candice or Howard’s buttons again and that they might lose the self-restraint battle and end up hurting their chances in the game. I don’t think that is too likely, though. GM is too weak and Kaitlin is already looking for some distance.

  • #269243

    Whatwhat

Oh, and Elissa is really upset too, because everyone was talking about who to nominate and they decided to leave nominating Howard up to her without even consulting her about it or asking her about it. Helen nominated Aaryn and Kaitlin without even talking to Elissa first. Basically Elissa’s been honest and truthful with everyone and told them everything she’s been doing, and nobody has bothered to give her the time of day or bring her in for any of these discussions they’re having, and she’s feeling really hurt about that, because she likes everyone and she’s feeling like she’s nothing more than a tool to them, like the only reason anyone ever talks to her is to tell her what to do and that’s it. Technically she’s right – I don’t think any of them plans on keeping her long enough for her to go to jury.

You know, idly and as an offhand comment here – everyone talks about that comment the Chenbot made at the beginning of the season where she quoted Rachel and said “Floaters grab a life vest,” assuming that meant this season was supposed to be one where floaters would be kicked the heck out of there. Aaryn/Kaitlin/GM were complaining about it I think, talking about how it’s been anything but that. But I think maybe that message from Julie was a little more clever than anyone had previously assumed — Elissa is the life vest. Floaters need to grab her and use her and the MVP if they want to survive. And that’s what’s happening.

Obnoxious houseguests aside, this is actually shaping up to be a pretty interesting season just from an analytical standpoint – it’s interesting seeing how each player has decided to handle the MVP twist, whether they sit there and gripe about it and talk about how it’s just a guarantee that Elissa is going to get it every week and how unfair that is, or recognize the fact that they know with certainty WHO is going to get it is something they can use to their advantage.

I think that Helen might be gunning for MVP for next week. It would be a good way staying safe after her HOH. If she gets a good edit (which is likely if she keeps doing what she is doing and gets Jeremy out), I think she has a good shot.

We loves you Chooch. It looks like they’re playing for PoV now. Rumor is swirling among the houseguests that all these competitions are happening way too fast and that it might mean a double eviction this week – I’m inclined to think that they’re right. They’re getting all of this stuff out of the way FAR too quickly. We’ve already had HoH on Thursday, HN comp on Friday, and now it’s Saturday and they’ve already done noms and they’re doing PoV? The show airs tomorrow, and presumably it’s going to show HN comp and noms, that’s usually the case. Why would they record the PoV comp this early, when logistically it’s not going to air until Wednesday? Why did they do the nominations so quickly? And why did they get the houseguests up so early to do the PoV comp today?

Personally, I think they’re going to do a double eviction, and production is gunning to get Jeremy and Aaryn out of the house at the same time. I think. They’ve both done far too much damage, and there’s only so long they can show this whole race thing before it starts looking like they’re running this house as some sort of bizzarro torture-chamber constructed specially just to torment Candice, Howard and Helen for ratings.

I’d be okay with that. Once they get the hell out of the house, maybe people will settle down and start playing the game without the shadow of the racist commentary hanging over the house. It’s starting to really influence people’s game play and thinking, and that should never, ever, ever have been an element in this game. Ever.

I clicked on the “help” link on the live feed webpage and it led me to an FAQ that had a bright yellow and red scrolling banner at the top that said CBS is aware of the current issues with the live feeds, and is working to resolve them as quickly as possible. So there’s that.

  • #269257

I hope you’re right, WW, but I’m not going to hold my breath. I’m not sure production is planning that far ahead – they probably want to see what happens with veto first, and maybe it’s this early so that they can have more time to plan things out and influence the game. If someone like Helen gets veto, I’ll be more inclined to think that they’re going to do what you described.
But meanwhile, the race thing HAS had way too much of an influence. Once you’ve got Howard, an otherwise honest man, lying to get the house against Amanda bc he was told she was spreading the minority alliance rumor, when in actuality, she was trying to stop the racist talk that was making him uncomfortable, we have a problem.

Whatwhat, this is always the way BB has done these competitions. It is the normal procedure. This is so the TV show people have plenty of time to put the show together and edit their storyline. There is nothing rushed. If there were to be a double eviction this week, Julie would have told the viewers on Thursday’s show.

…and YES, it IS all about ME! I have been very good this season and because of all the tension and disrespect in the BB house, I’ve found that I’ve been censoring my own remarks about these cast members. This is so unlike me. I’m far from politically correct when it comes to BB and this has “tied my fingers” so to speak. I am usually much more outspoken. You ladies are more to the point and give our forum readers more factual dialogue, that is for sure and you are doing a wonderful job. As for the Double Evictions, in the past they never happened this early in the game. Last season the 1st one came on Day#48 and another on Day#62. It was the first time they ever had two dbl. evictions in one season. Season-13 it was Day#55 and Season-12 was also Day#55. Season-11 was different because of Chima self-evicting herself on Day#42, right after Jessie’s eviction, so that was considered their Dbl. eviction. Season-10 had theirs on Day#52. Now Season-9, which has as many housemates as this season, with 16, had Neil Garcia walk out on Day#7 for personal reasons. Another thing about Season-9 is that for the 1st three weeks, the houseguests played as couples, were nominated as couples and were evicted as couples. So TWO people went home for the 2nd and 3rd week, so there were no “Double evictions”. In Season-8, the Dbl. eviction didn’t come until almost the end of the season, on Day#69.

The one difference this year is that BB has added two extra weeks to the season, so they may have a double eviction sooner rather than later. I also expect them to have two of them, like they did in Season-14. You have to remember. CBS and the BB producers hardly ever sway away from their format… do they Itchy.

Dashley…I agree on most of your analysis, except the rumor about the possibility of a minority alliance. I don’t see that as being any difference as any other lie, or the possibility of any other alliance. It is in the same category as banding together over gender (which is done all the time.)

That, I think, is one of the biggest mistakes players make…the insistance of attempting to create a bond/alliance IMMEDIATELY in the game. Because it can saddle you with a major liability like Germy, Aryan, or a Hantz, and allow you to overlook a smart player like Helen. Or leave you in a bind because you have an alliance with a group like the MC and you now have an important friendship with someone else (like Amanda.)

I have been properly schooled, thank you Chooch! This is only my second season really watching the show and the feeds – it just seemed like things moved FAR MORE SLOWLY last week, that’s why I was kind of confused – although that likely had something to do with the wonky scheduling. That, and even the HG’s were commenting on it, which…well, they don’t usually talk about that kind of thing that I’ve noticed! XD

Normally I’d be a bit more snark, but this season has me kind of uncomfortable doing that. I’m sure once we get later into the season and the assholes get weeded out, we’ll be able to take a closer, snarkier look at the HGs. My only regret is that Nick is gone, and the legacy of Tuxedo Mask’s brief appearance on BB has gone with him. SO SAD.

Well, damn Chooch, you can at least let us DREAM of a double eviction. I want nothing more than to have both Asshat and Klan Barbie out of that house. I’m worried Helen might be keeping Klan Barbie around as a “Hantz”, because yeah, she’d be perfect to take to the end, no one in their right mind would vote for her.

And my initial impressions of Howard are pretty much confirmed. Too bad for CBS! No doubt they’re dreaming of him winning the season right now, but that’s going to be difficult since the guy is not very bright and not at all nice. If they really want a person of color to win, they should be backing Candice or Helen. Both of them are way smarter.

The whole MVP is revealing itself to be exactly what we expected — it’s just a(nother) way for the producers to manipulate the results, nothing more than that.

And I agree, the MVP should have been required to keep that secret. That would have made it a far more interesting device.

I’d be more willing to like Elissa if she didn’t act like such an idiot everytime she receives the MVP.

its quite smart on helen’s part to keep aaryn. she knows what a racist bitch shes been and in the end if per chance they make it to final two helen would totally win. we would also get to see more of aaryn being horrible and that would increase the chances that her life outside the house will be worse. aaryn is not going to stop with her racist comments because he has no self awareness. this has been one of the most complex, intriguing, heartbreaking seasons of big brother ive ever seen. no matter what the outcome, there will be fallout for a good majority of these people. but i think production would make sure that the “good” side wins. i never really realized or thought about how much production gets involved. its been eye opening to say the least.

I heard sometime early yesterday Helen talking about wanting to get Aaryn out this week. She was upset that people were pushing her to Jeremy. This was the morning after Aaryn flipped the bed. She was willing to give Aaryn another chance “until last night and what she did”.
She stated, “McCrae or Andy can get blood on their hands and Get Jeremy out…”.

Not that it maters now, but I feel Amanda and PB because of proximity, have the true belief they should have a right to choose who the MVP puts on the block. I am sure Amanda would do freaking backflips to get the power in her hands alone. She was not the HOH but played like she was, She is not the MVP but plays like she is….. I really don’t like her too very much.

I am confused. Candice did win… something.. but Kaitlin… is is being said she will not take her self off the block.. and Helen is very worried that she will not take herself off the block…. So maybe different gifts.

The comp had to do with pictures and two different faces… very hard to understand.
Something about ducks… different pictures… having to jump up…. mona lisa… crickets.. order… duplicates,.,……. Candice did it about 8 minutes, Helen 8:46 ish….

Jump on a trampoline, see what to replicate, get down, run around and put up the phots you saw. Jeremy played too, he must have been a pick from the bag. Kaitlin layed her pictures all out on the ‘carpet’ so if she made a mistake she could just look over them and not have to sort through them… when the game talk got too envoloved we went to fish.

She’s going to tell Helen to put Howard up on the block and not Jeremy. Ahahahha. No, Kaitlin honey, I don’t think you realize that if you use it, Jeremy’s got the boot period. I mean things could change in a week but I don’t see them using it on Howard over Jeremy. Yes, Howard lied – but he hasn’t sat there and yelled at people. He hasn’t bullied people. He hasn’t threatened people. And, to my knowledge, he’s never used the term “meat wallet” when referring to a girl.

Bright side, if Kaitlin decides NOT to use it they can either give her or Aaryn the boot. Aaryn leaving the house would be delicious. DELICIOUS

I’m sort of curious why a comp like that would take so long. Sounds like it was a timed comp – Kait’s time was like, 7 minutes.

And I am still laughing about Kaitlin. Really, she thinks that Helen is going to keep the most dangerous dude in the house, the one that has been threatening people since the third week, over two dudes who have pretty much done nothing but lie? They know what Howard and Spencer are going to do now. They’re going to lie. They aren’t going to bully anyone and they aren’t going to threaten anyone. It’s not their style. If Helen doesn’t put Jeremy up, she’s a total idiot.

too back track a bit guys: i purchased the live feed so i no longer need to watch After Dark, but while waiting for the feeds to come back from POV comp i decided to watch last nights After Dark. I wanted to see what they chose to show from last nights drama. So…long story short, they showed Jessie arguing with Jeremy and Kaitlin over the bed BUT they completely skipped the fight with Candace and Aaryn. One second Candace is asking who flipped her bed and then next shes in the Have Not being consoled by Howie. I am curious guys why do YOU think CBS chose to edit it out? To save it for primetime? To pretend it never happened? The clips are already out there. I just don’t get it.

I’m guessing they may save it to show on air, neurotic – Aaryn’s behavior is now a story, one that she remains firmly oblivious to. She’s uttered WAY TOO MANY classic lines in the past couple of days “they nominated me because I’m pretty,” etc, to waste that footage on BBAD.

Giff, Jeremy did NOT play. It was Helen, Aaryn, Kaitlin & Spencer. Candice & Gina Marie were picked from the bag to play.

Jeremy is sure that he can either get Helen to put up Howard OR he’ll go on the block and convince everyone to vote out Aaryn instead of him. He still thinks he has “Bro” power. What he’s not realizing is 3 of his side is on the block.

    null
Mutt & Jeff re-grouped in the storeroom to figure out their next plan of attack and see how bad they can fuck things up this time around. They are trying to figure out who they can still suck up to. They think they are still good with Judd and probably Andy. One of them needs to talk to Helen to see where her head’s at. Howard tells Spencer that their showmance probably isn’t going to go anywhere now. he tells Spencer that they aren’t even an alliance. Now that he’s been proven to be a liar, liar pants on fire! He shouldn’t have sworn on that Bible. Why he did that, I’ll never know. I thought God would strike you with lightning for that shit. Anyhow, Spencer wants the chance to stand up and do some shout-outs to his buddies and family. He wants to thank his bosses at work for giving him the time off to come here and play BB. Hmmmm…. will he be so thankful when they have termination papers waiting for him? Well, he can file a grievance with his union and fight that one. They need probable and just cause to terminate him and it better be a damn good one. That’s my opinion. He just wants to stay long enough to make the jury. Spencer asks Howard to give him a heads up if he hears he;s the one going home. Howard tells him that since everyone knows we’re bun buddies, they probably won’t tell me. “If I go, I just want to know in advance.”

That’s tough to watch Howard’s struggle. His game play seems to be poor and I’m not necessarily team Howard outside of eye candy but his level of restraint has to be respected. Ok so Aaryn is dense as shit cuz she had a talk with Spencer about the racist accusations made against her and she STILL doesnt get it. She thinks it was one thing that people are calling her out on, and that one thing in her mind wasnt racist. She thinks that when she leaves the house people will think shes a monster because the other people are trying to portray her as one.

I truly think when she leaves and receives her backlash shell be convinced that its Elissa and Candace’s fault. #lostcause

Converastion between Aaryn and Spencer about her saying Shaniqua and why Aaryn thinks this was used against her to portray her as a racist.

    Saturday 7:40 PM (CAM 2)

Aaryn: I’m not shocked that being Southern, being blonde, having blue eyes, being who I am, Im not shocked that that’s the label they wanted to give me coming in here. At all. They were going to say something. Of course thats what it is, because I fit the stereotype of someone who would act that way.

    Spencer: Sure.

Aaryn: And one of the reasons I say that, is cuz I have so many friends, and that, friends of that…

(they stop because Howard comes in to see if they want spaghetti, then after he leaves they resume)

Aaryn: I have so many friends of that race, that if they were to hear someone say that about me, it would break my heart. And i dont have any, i have things against people who do things like that, not because of their race, because of the type of person they are.

Spencer: I would say this, you know Martin Luther King said “you dont judge people by the color of their skin, you judge them by the content of their character”

    Aaryn: right. i agree.

spencer: and thats kind of where you’re at. so, im sure you got friends that are black, african-american, whatever you want to call them outside the house that love you death and know that this stuff is just bullshit. ok, like i said, i hear it, im not one to be insensitive to that, that being said, but when i heard it, to me i thought you were just being goofy, but…

aaryn: Especially the type of shit i say all the time.

spencer: thats true. you say tons of stupid shit.

aaryn,: yeah, well i do. But its not meant to be taken like that. And I think that was maliciously done on purpose.

spencer: well…i dont know. i dont know. I know thats…We dont have to deal with anything like that on a daily basis, or you know, or ever. shit, Im fat and ugly, two thing you aren’t. you know what im saying, so, its like you have less in some ways and also more is some ways of things you have to overcome perception-wise. you know what i mean? and like i said, i doubt thats its gotten outside the house. thats just shit in here. i cant imagine that they would show that kind of stuff. Maybe there might be stuff on live-feed, but that’s live-feed people, you know which, you would hope that that would be understood through all the other conversations. they didn’t just see that and get things out there. They’ve seen this conversation. They’ve seen other words you might have had about this, or any apologies that you’ve made, and know the sincerity of your heart. you know just, so, i know its hard, i know its aggravating, and i know its unfortunate, but just hold your head up, just move forward, you know your heart, you know what you meant, and thats all you can do. really. and its a situation where theres probably not going to be as many pieces to pick up outside of here as you think. you know, well hell, youll get out of here and youll never hear a word about it. and thats what i hope for you. you know, so.

I don’t believe Helen hates anyone. She seems way too smart for that. It’s possible she’s playing up the emotion for others, just to manipulate them. It’s her job, after all.

That is so funny what Spencer was saying to Aaryn because it’s so opposite of the reality of what she’s facing when she gets out.

For me, Aaryn and the repercussions of her actions have become a distraction and I really hope if she’s not out this week, then she’s out next week. Although I do understand that the smartest thing to do for the players is to take her as far as possible because she can’t win. If not just for being a poor player, TPTB wouldn’t allow it. I’m sure if she made it to the end the jury would be shown some, if not all, of the infamous footage.

So last night all the guys (minus Jeremy) gathered round the “campfire” for some Dude Talk and misogyny ensued. Spencer continually talked about a lot of the girls sexually and it clearly made Judd uncomfortable but he didn’t say anything. Spencer actually said “I bet her pussy tastes like butterscotch” & “You better get a finger bang out of her while shes here” about Jessie in front of all the guys (including Judd).

    Dude, Spencer,
maybe you should wait a bit to see where you allies are before talking like a filthy pig. I hope this shines a good light on Howard. Several more nights of these conversations should seal Spencer’s fate.

It’s just too bad she’s never going to make it to the end…. not with the strategy that she’s playing with, which is “trust”. If she can’t trust someone, then she wants them gone and this is BB, it doesn’t work that way and she’s going to get eaten alive. She should know better. For god’s sakes, her occupation is in politics! Mark my words, Helen will go down and it will be by the hand of someone she really trusts. My bet is on ANDY!

I’m not sure if Helen is going with a trust strategy. I think that “trust” is the buzz word that she is using to keep everyone in line, making her look like a weaker player than she is. Otherwise, why is she interviewing everyone (including Jeremy) and asking them what is it that they can offer her to get further in the game? For now, I’m also team Helen.

I can tell you JimmyT. TVGasm was owned by Bunim-Murray Co. They bought the site from B-Side and J-Unit way back when…. anyhow, they decided the 1st of June to end the site. It wasn’t worth the effort to keep it running any longer. RonnieK (Flipit) who was the managing editor tried to buy the site from them, but they declined his offer, wanting to just be done with it altogether. They allowed the site to remain open until the end of the month so RonnieK could begin to build this new site and recruit as many writers and recappers as he could, who would be willing to follow him here, to this new site. As you can see, many of them did just that. Bunim-Murray officially closed down TVGasm on July 1st. So here we are!

    @chooch, OMG! I just loved that moment on the live show . . . heh . . .

For my money, GM is worse than Aaryn . . . simply because A is stupid, and just doesn’t get it. GM was “junk-yard dog” mean when she confronted Candice . . nasty and angry and ugly . . . and some of her quotes from before have been just as ugly . . .

That guy talk, being gay, I don’t have to participate in many conversations of that kind, but it’s likely more common than we think . . . guys are pigs, we know that, right?

Howard and Spencer are so stupid if they think they still have any kind of power . . . a duh, dudes.

Anyway, on AD the other day, it seemed the consensus was to get rid of them, A, J, K, GM, and then start over and play a calm game. This was when Howard and Spense were pouring their hearts out to everyone.

Andy was crying, rather hard, hearing about these betrayals. Spence seemed to really be trying to make it better for him. I’ve still seen multiple little DL moments with those two . . . it’s body language candy to me, I can’t stop eating it. Even if I’m nuts, it keeps me entertained.

I’m also pretty sure CBS finds all this controversy like candy too! I’m pretty sure we have more to come . . . and if A goes, they’ll focus in on the next one.
It would be nice if one of them “got it” while in the house . . . but I doubt it.

And ain’t it ironic that Judd is one of the more, most decent people in the house, and I’m named Juddfan . . . I have to admit, when he talks, all I hear is that character from King of the Hill, who mumbles-I’m not even sure it’s words in the case of the show . . .Seriously though, he’s a nice, nice guy, and his reactions feel a lot like mine would be-tho I know I’d be in people’s faces and offended all the time . . .

OH MY GOD I love that last picture of Judd with the folded towels and the huge grin on his face. I think I’m starting to get a crush on him, and I’m not entirely comfortable with that.

I’m with JimmyT and Itchy on the Helen analysis. She’s just using the “I need to surround myself with honest people” thing to pump more and more information out of people, and it’s working. She cries and cries and tells them that America’s listening and they’re going to be held accountable, and then the second they leave the room, McManda laugh with her about the amount of info she got out of the person.

And McManda FTW!! I just love them. I’m sorry. I know there are people here that hate Amanda, but I identify with her, and she and McCrae are such a great team.

After the Zimmerman verdict, I couldn’t deal with watching the racist HGs on the live feeds, so I watched BBCanada instead, and now there are only 7 left in the house. I just wish I didn’t already know who won. Know what? They’re SO nice to each other in comparison to our BB, and it’s refreshing. And I love the little challenges they have to do individually sometimes. Freaking Canada, man. They’re like our annoying little sister who is always perfect in everything she does and everyone loves her.

I started watching it last night for much the same reasons, Dashley – I think Marcia the Moose is my favorite houseguest ever now. Man I hope they incorporate some of the neat tricks and mission challenges they did in Canada into the next US season, they make the show incredibly fun to watch.

I checked the feeds real quick (I’ve got unexpected company right now) Candice and Howard are discussing the dirty towels piled up by the washer and Howard makes the comment that they smell like a vagina. Candice wants to know what vaginas he’s been smelling….

@JuddFan: I wouldn’t give Spencer and the rest a pass for just engaging in “guy talk”. I guess you could argue that of hormone-filled teenagers who don’t know any better, but I don’t buy the biology excuse. This is learned behavior. Besides, these idiots are adults and they should have figured it out by now.

This totally anecdotal, but growing up I always felt very uncomfortable with that kind of talk. I always associated it with people who were jerks and bullies (or wannabe bullies) who in general did not think much of others (not just women, it is usually the same types that spew all the homophobic stuff). In fact, many of them were learning it from their fathers who would often show off in front of their kids and their friends by talking the same way.

Well, it all depends on who I’m with (well, I should say past tense). I have one buddy who loves to make crude jokes/comments like this with me. I’m pretty sure he only does it with me, because it’s just an old joke between us.

I think it’s mostly that Spencer is extremely sexually frustrated. There’s no way he’s slept with as many women as he claims to have — I’d wager his sexual experience is pretty limited, and most of it involves closing the bar barely unable to stand and ending up with the last gal there. And we all know what she looks like. And yeah, any guy who goes this far out of his way to be demeaning to women is probably desperately trying to repress his homosexual urges.

@Jimmy T, I know, I know . . . and I get it. I don’t like that talk either, if I were a girl, I would stay far away from a guy like that, fer sure! Even as a gay man I wouldn’t want to be with someone so dismissive and trash talking (hey, this is trash talk, heh)

My brother once told me about a partner he had to drive around with all day, and he had more disgusting terms than M**t W*****t for women! They are words that just will never leave my mind, and I wasn’t even there!

It is sad that a lot of this behavior seems to be a result of some bad parenting, or bad environments anyway. Racial stuff, and gay issues, and forever, women’s rights are always in turmoil . . . I can’t even read the comments on any articles about the Zimmerman case . .. so much ignorance is still so rampant. What’s worse is the way they strive to defend it. They all mentions h**key and the way rappers use the n word as a defense. They just don’t get it, and if nothing else, this season is giving America a good chance to see that it’s not ok.

I’m glad to be here, with people of sound minds, and yeah, we can sling some smack with the best of ‘em, but it’s usually with a fun spirit and not hateful.

Also, I do employ a little denial sometimes. I’m trying as hard as I can not to hate people, no matter how ignorant, coz then they’re just dead to me and I check out . . . I’d rather just watch and listen and discuss here. I do NOT want to hear what was said in that discussion, as it could make me start hating. I want to be content with “I can’t stand” and hope for people to redeem themselves.

GM has been dead to me since her insurance comment, again, I find her more hateful, and seeing that she’s in an environment with a like minded bigot, or bigots, she’s letting her inner ugly shine!

Growing up in NY, she’s been around all kinds of people, and yet, she’s still spouting hate in awful, awful ways. I’m not giving the rest of them a pass or anything, Aaryn just doesn’t get what she’s doing is wrong and ignorant . . . I think GM knows better . . . and yes, I could be wrong.

I seriously wanted to like everyone, tho Jeremy made a bad impression from go, but I’m so sad kaitlyn has been so disappointing, I thought she would be buds with Andy and more like a Janelle . . . I liked GM at first too, then ew . . . Spencer I just want to look at more, and study, like a case study. I’m forever interested in what makes people tick, and it’s a result of my neglectful childhood. I’m super hyper-vigilant, which is basically always watching every subtle move and tone to avoid getting hurt. Happens a lot in unstable homes, and if you add sexual abuse to that, you find yourself in a constant struggle to stay safe and not be taken advantage of, and yes, I was abused – I think i’ve said that before.

anyway, hearing all the struggles my GF’s go through, there are a lot of dogs out there . . . Spencer is definitely one. (his comment about abuse was particularly awful to me personally) Howard, still not sure, but “control your woman” is not a sentiment I share. Judd and PB seem decent, and I still like Andy. I’m really hoping Jeremy is toast!

Juddfan, you’re right, GM is worse than Aaryn in a lot of ways. And she DOES know better, as evidenced by the fact that when she throws the n-word around, she leans in to someone, whispers it, then giggles and says “I shouldn’t have said that!” She’s not just ignorant, she’s just plain stupid, which makes her a lost cause.

Anyone know where I can get BBCanada Episode 22? It’s a double eviction and I can’t get it anywhere and I need my fix! I need it now!

    @Amber: What’s on her page? I’m afraid to look . . .

For the record, I have said I think Aaryn was raised by the KKK . . . it’s gotta be something with and anagram of aryan for a first name.

On AD, Candice and Elissa are chatting in the HOH room. Candice said she likes to get to know a guy as a friend first, she doesn’t get people who go 0-to love, like “Kaitlin did with Jeremy, and she didn’t even know he was a douchebag”

She went on to say kaitlin was her first friend in the house, they used to cuddle in bed, and she likes her. She says she’s had a lot of personal tragedy that she hasn’t shared with the house.

They are also saying, if they had won the veto, it would have been really hard to take Spencer off the block. They’re going on to talk about how shady he is.

    What’s with Elissa’s eye lashes . . . are they extentions? They’re so singular and thick and long . . .

Wow Dashley, I went to my BB-Canada archives and they have been “terminated” due to multiply third party notifications of copyright infringements. I can’t help you. I tried Ep.#23 & 24 and got the same thing all the way up to the finale…. could it be because everyone has suddenly become so interested in BB-Canada and how wonderful it was?

Thanks for trying, Chooch. :-( I can get episode 23 & 24 on youtube (haven’t searched beyond those eps), but for some strange reason, episode 22 specifically is just… missing. From the entire internet. Which leaves me with a dilemma… I know the ULTIMATE outcome anyway, so do I just skip that episode? But it’s about the journey, not the destination, and that ep is a double eviction, so it’s a huge part of the journey to skip in case, I don’t know, that episode pops up somewhere tomorrow. I’m overthinking this. I have some cleaning to do anyway.

Neurotical – Andy has a thick skin, and you’re probably right – he will use ANYTHING he hears as ammunition, and somehow, he’s everywhere at the same time, all the time. I think with Judd though, that kind of stuff really does upset him on a personal level, and Spencer does erode personal trust with that kind of talk. And I think he’s especially protective of Jessie in particular.

As most of you know, I owned a bar for 25 years and I’ve heard talk from guys like Spencer many, many times. I don’t know if I excuse it or go along with it. It always depended on the time of day, who was in there and how far it went… AND how much money they were spending. I started working there when I was young and my father-in-law was in control of the place, but I learned a lot from him. He taught me when was the right time to step in and take control of a situation. He said you win more battles with your intelligence than with your strength. Words are your weapon. With someone like Spencer, you hit them where it hurts, their ego, you find that spot and shame them in front of those people they are trying so hard to impress with their filthy talk. It works every time. I think Amanda is that type of person. i think she can bring Spencer down.

When I was a kid, my parents listened to The Chad Mitchell Trio…a group known for skewering people about social issues, and also know for being liberal. They have a song that takes on white supremacists. On behalf of Aryan, here are the lyriics to a song (her family probably inspired.)

Your Friendly Liberal Neighborhood Ku Klux Klan

Is there a klavern in your town? (In your town)
If not, then why not have us down? (Have us down)

You’ll never recognize us, there’s a smile upon our face
We’re changin’ all our dirty sheets and a cleanin’ up the place
Yep, since we got a lawyer and a public relations man
We’re your friendly, liberal, neighborhood Ku Klux Klan

Yes, we’re your friendly, liberal, neighborhood Ku Klux Klan
Ever since we got that lawyer and that public relations man
‘Cause we did shoot one reporter, but he was just obscene
And you can’t call us no filthy names – What does Anglo-Saxon mean?

Allemande left, allemande right, the Ladies’ Auxiliary is meetin’ tonight
‘Cause the Klan’s collected so much cash that now, by gum, we’re rich white trash!

Now, we’ve heard it said our leadership’s not qualified to lead
Well I’m tellin’ you that just ain’t true – Why three of them can read
Take our Grand Exalted Dragon, now some folks think he’s bad
Well, you should meet his sweet old mother, and her brother, who’s his dad

Yes, they’re your friendly, liberal, neighborhood Ku Klux Klan
And he’s gonna run for governor soon as he’s out of the can
We’re all from fine old families, the pride of all these hills
Yes, seven generations at the same old illegal stills

Had a little rally the other night, shot up town in a fury
Luke’s arrested, Pa’s on trial, and the rest of us are on the jury

Now, we’ve heard them call us deadbeats, and we’d like to say we’re not
We’ll all stand on our record, and that’s one thing we’ve all got
And we only have that arsenal so that you won’t raise no fuss
And if you don’t like that, then call the cops, ’cause the chances are, they’re us

Yes we’re your friendly, liberal, neighborhood Ku Klux Klan
But somehow we went from the fire to the fryin’ pan
We never learned to hold a job, and we never learned to write
But boy, we sure have learned the ropes, ’cause we use them every night

Now, when Congress calls you, don’t get stuck, just start confessin’ and pass the buck
The Kludd blames the Klaxon, the Klaxon blames the Kleagle, the Kleagle blames the Grand Imperial Eagle
The Eagle blames the Wizard, the Wizard blames the Dragon, the Dragon takes the blame, but he’s just braggin’

Now, we’re out to show the Congress that we’re all so nice and meek
Why we never even take the Fifth, ’cause we drank that all last week
And you’ll never hear us shootin’ or hangin’ people high
‘Cause we’re learnin’ to respect the law and to have an alibi

    Oh, come, come, come, come
Come to the church in the wildwood
Come to the church in the vale

And, those dirty, lyin’ witnesses, Lord, forgive them what they speak
We would go to church and pray for them… ‘cept we blew it up last week

Yes, we’re your friendly, liberal, neighborhood Ku Klux Klan
And we sure do thank that lawyer and that public relations man
So we’re sorry that we hung them, but they did have quite a tan
And it sure confused your friendly, liberal, misunderstood

Your friendly neighborhood Klan who says,
    “What’s wrong with a hood?”
Your friendly, liberal, neighborhood Ku Klux
Grab your Cadillac and head for the hills

(Hearing this sung is much funnier.)

Maybe there might be stuff on live-feed, but that’s live-feed people, you know which, you would hope that that would be understood through all the other conversations. they didn’t just see that and get things out there. They’ve seen this conversation. They’ve seen other words you might have had about this, or any apologies that you’ve made, and know the sincerity of your heart. you know just, so, i know its hard, i know its aggravating, and i know its unfortunate, but just hold your head up, just move forward, you know your heart, you know what you meant, and thats all you can do. really. and its a situation where theres probably not going to be as many pieces to pick up outside of here as you think. you know, well hell, youll get out of here and youll never hear a word about it. and thats what i hope for you. you know, so.”

Well, for once the broadcast edit more or less resembled what went down the other night. Aryan’s apology was so insincere, during a part of her DR about the apology you even get a tiny flash of her suppressing a smirk.

I like that they gave some context to the bed fight by showing GM, Aryan and Kaitlin getting all riled up before the comp. and also the initial convo with Jessie where she called them out on their crap. Amanda’s call out was pretty good too. And, they are now expanding beyond Aryan and started to focus on GM’s actions (although they should have used subtitles when she said that thing about Candice’s “black coming out”) and showing Jeremy for the narcissistic douche that he is. They were pretty fair with Howard’s edit also, showing both his noble and weasely sides.

They need to take on Spencer and dig deep with Jeremy.

I’m not sure how I feel about the disclaimer. On the one hand, it acknowledge some of the stuff that has been going on. On the other, it seems like a pretty cynical attempt by CBS/BB to wash their hands from the situation (even though they cast these idiots) while at the same time drumming up more ratings by adding the “Viewer Discretion is Adviced” tag line.

I hate to keep harping on the racial stuff (I cant help it because: 1) they keep saying more stuff 2) im a black woman and continually offended) but today something ELSE happened:

    4:49 PM (CAM 4)
Andy, Spencer, Aaryn, Howie, Jeremy, Kaitlin, and Jessie are all sitting on the couch talking about tv shows and whatnot. A fly keeps buzzing around Jeremy because he’s eating (or because flies are attracted to SHIT). Out of nowhere Jeremy says “I’m African. We’re used to it.” he quickly tries to cover that up with “you know those tribes in africa that have flies walking all over their faces..” and keeps digging a grave for himself. Andy immediately gets up and leaves. followed soon by howard. andy goes to HOH to be alone. spencer tries to steer the conversation away from flies and starving africans but decides, fuck this and bails too. eventually spencer goes to find howard cuz he knows that pissed him off but hes “sleeping” (i.e. FUMING) in a bed with candace. spencer then goes to HOH and him and andy talk about the whole thing. if anyone was in doubt about jeremy leaving, i hope this was his final nail in the coffin.

but for reals, jeremy said “IM AFRICAN. WE’RE USED TO IT”.

Thanks Chooch for the warning about BB starting late. Sadly, I didn’t see it.:-(

I missed the last 20 minutes (from the start of the Have Not competition to the end). Hopefully – I’ll get caught up with the recap. I laughed out loud at the disclaimer!

Aayrn’s comment about the “bad” strategy of getting out all strong players so that the weak ones win was hilarious. How strong could they be if they keep going out the door! Also – that’s the game – get other player out! Getting rid of the strongest competition is GOOD play.

I hope we say goodbye to Jeremy on Thursday. Aaryn should stick around a bit a suffer.

Holy shit guys, how GLORIOUS was it to see Howard attempt to throw that have/have not comp and throw sour milk OVER AND OVER all over Aryan? I think that was my favorite thing about that episode.

I also loved GinaMarie hollering in the kitchen, sounding like a total idiot, and the sane, likable people in the house snickering in the chair bedroom. Sorry GM, no sympathy for you. Even if you weren’t a racist piece of shit I’d still roll my eyes about how much you blubbered over Nick’s eviction. You DO realize you’re on national television three nights a week making a fool of yourself, right?

The TV edit of the post-HoH bedroom fight was a pretty accurate depiction of it. I teared up about it all over again because of the DR narration and the sad music, etc. It’s just rough to watch, man.

Let’s hope that they show some of the stuff that Jeremy’s been saying in the buildup to his eviction. That guy’s crap has been going under the radar too much and CBS/BB needs to do the right thing and out him, rather than leaving Aryan as the single bad apple.

    Observations:

    1) Andy needs to sit down and shut up sometimes. He is building a web of lies and hes going to get caught. I think hes going to be Helen’s downfall.
    2) Team Howard and Candace! at least this week.
    3) I think Germy (totally accurate name) might have contaminated some face cream/lotion/ointment with his ringworm because Production has warned Amanda not to use it on her face and to stop touching her face. Yikes.

Finally finished BB Canada. Fantastic! Even “evil” Tom was smart enough to acknowledge his mistakes and apologize. The only thing wrong was the very not-rehearsed announcing of the winner. The host did it completely wrong. Otherwise I loved her. And BB called them out for any infractions. I highly recommend you marathon it and get NO sleep, like I did.

Jeremy gave Amanda ringworm on her FACE? That is the most disgusting thing I’ve ever heard, how on earth can Kaitlin share a bed with that walking disease of a human being? Ewwww! Neurotical, when did this information come out? I think I need to go back and see it on the feeds. As soon as I come back from puking my brains out.

Neurotical, you’re my freaking hero today – is that twice you’ve given in to my bratty demands?

So I’m folding laundry and tuning in right now to the feeds… and Aryan and GM are having a HILARIOUS discussion. Aryan is just trying her damndest to convince GM that Nick wasn’t the paragon of virtue that GM is convinced he was, because she has HEARD things that he said about GM that were less-than-flattering. GM is having the hardest time accepting it, because Nick would NEVER lie. Aryan’s like… um… that’s the whole point of this game. Tries to convince GM that he needed her vote, and GM is like, no, he could have gotten that somewhere else! (LOL- she DOES realize he was evicted in a vote that wasn’t even close, right?) To Aryan’s credit (I know, I know, I hate her too) she is actually trying to be a good friend to GM. She’s being stern but compassionate. But it’s all for naught bc GM is indisputably the most dense HG this season. In case you doubted it, you should rewind to around 12:45 AM.

BONUS: Kaitlin admits to Amanda that Production was crying over Kaitlin’s “situation” and they discuss how Howard is USING RACE to sway Helen and Candace.

Ohhhhhhhh snap. You know what they’re trying to do, right? Production I mean? They’re trying to make her feel terrible enough or sad enough to keep herself on the block.

Not to get rid of her, to get rid of Aaryn. Production wants Kaitlin to stay where she is so the house will be forced to choose between Kaitlin or Aaryn – and you can bet your ass production will be trying to talk them into booting Aaryn to the curb. She’s not entertainment anymore, she’s a liability.

In other news, Jeremy keeps telling the girls that they are the real winners, that’s why the losers want to get them out. I am so confused by this. Look, if you aren’t, you know, winning, that means you’re on the losing side. The losers aren’t getting you out, they won. You lost. You’re gone. They’re the winners. You’re the losers.

I don’t think Jeremy understands higher concepts like that super hard “what words mean” very well.

See how easy it is? Just stand there, fold your arms, smile at the evil bitches and DON’T FILL YOUR GODDAMNED BUCKET.

Sure, I understand the temptation of throwing sour milk in Aryan/Aaryn’s face. So, do that a few times. But otherwise? DON’T FILL YOUR GODDAMNED BUCKET.

@ Dashely, youre welcome for the ringworm stuff. happy to do it. I was going to write about the conversation with Aaryn and GM but you beat me to it! This will be my ONLY compliment to Aaryn but GM needed a talking to and THANKS Aaryn. Too bad it probably didn’t work.

@Whatwhat, thats a good guess about Production. You don’t think its actually to to create drama by having Jeremy stay in the house with Aaryn? Just another theory…

@itchy, Howard let me down in the HAVE NOT. i dont think he realizes that he could have just stood there. A lot of these HGs have never seen the show and dont know this stuff. Yesterday someone had to explain what backdooring was to Howard. Im pretty sure I saw someone explain a VETO. but re-watching Howard’s breakdown was hard. I cry every time i see it. I just wish Helen, Elissa, and Judd were there to see it. I want to root for McManda but seeing her tell people how Howard is USING RACE to sway Candace (WTF!?) and Helen is such a huge offense to me. Amanda is on my shitlist.

@neurotical: all this stuff with Amanda blaming Howard for “using the race card” is why I can’t quite root for her. If anything they guy has trying to do the opposite and not get sucked into that. You’d think that she be smart enough to realize that she’s buying into Aryan’s delusions.

@WhatWhat: Along those lines, I wonder to what degree is Kaitlin is doing the same thing when talking about production and heard what she wanted to hear.

@Itchy: Having Howard just stand there or mover really slowly to throw the comp would have been awesome, but the guy is too worried about putting a target on his back to do that.

@itchy, that screenshot of Jeremy and Kaitlin above was even grosser to watch on the feeds. He was reaching up in her shorts and she kept pushing her ass against his crotch. They went to “bed” soon after that.

@Noody, or anyone who cares. I looked at Nick’s twitter also and hes been watching the show with Betsey Johnson (VERY famous fashion designer) and her daughter. If he hangs out with the likes of them, he definitely comes from money. He prob did drop out yale, cuz only a rich little bitch like Nick would squander an education at one of the most prestigious and expensive schools in the country.

From last night’s conversations, I would say it would be everyone’s best interest to put up howard and aaryn and backdoor amanda. BIGGEST THREAT in house. Team Minority Alliance!!! (thanks for the name aaryn)

Amanda was definitely making racist and a homophobic comments before everyone started focusing on Aryan. I agree with Neurotical that it was part of her attempt at being funny and being in the with the Cool Kids, although that should not be an excuse.

I think that she basically went to Aryan when she realized that Aryan’s comments were going to make it to the show, which meant that there was a risk that she could get lumped in with everyone else. Thinking back on the clip of her talking to Aryan and on last night’s clip where she calls out the other, it is clear that she was in part doing it for the cameras and those watching so that she could distance herself from all of it.

Now she is realizing that pretty much everyone in the house is rallying behind Helen and she is smart enough to realize that, after they clean house (with bio-hazard suits and plenty of disinfectant is sounds like), Helen is going to start cleaving off other strong players from her alliance and targeting them, using the weak players to keep her numbers up. Amanda knows that she is going to be one of those targets and is now trying to make Howard a better target by trying to convince Helen that Howard is a dangerous liar who has been working against her and has been invoking the idea that they are both minorities (what she’s been calling playing the race card) to create a false sense of trust.

This is clearly a smart and well thought-out strategy in Amanda’s part, but it still doesn’t sit well with me. This is probably why, even though I do like the quirkiness of McCranda, I can’t just get myself to root for her/them. Even if you agree with her idea that Howard has tried to play what she calls the race card, it seems a little hyprocritical (not to mention insensitive) to imply that Howard is taking advantage of all the racial tension in the house to advance himself in the game. She actually did exactly the same thing when she gave that talk to Arayn and later when she spoke with such outrage to the Aryan Nation, even though a week earlier she had been sitting with them making similar (although admittedly not as vile and thorough) comments as them.

so whoever pointed out that production might have stepped in because Aaryn is a liability might be right. Remember the petition to get Aaryn out on Change.org. I just received a new email from Ed King:

I can’t believe that we have reached 21000 signatures!!!!!

I wanted to send an email out to say thank you to all of you. You all are very important and you have done an awesome job so far!

I have a feeling that some of you have lost hope on this petition to be effective. Please don’t. As anything in life support means everything. We are working very hard to get Aaryn evicted. There were talks to CBS and there is so much pressure on them that they may do it at any time.

Unfortunately, the issues of racism are escalating on Big Brother 15 despite the call for certain contestants to be removed. CBS news has actually asked viewers to let them know how the situation should be handled. We need to take them up on this offer. Below, please find the direct number to call to complain to CBS programming about the way this situation is being exploited but not rectified. In order to get a live person, you must call between the hours listed below. I urge all of us to flood CBS with calls on Monday through Wednesday. In addition, let’s continue to reach out and also flood the lines of corporate sponsors McDonalds & Macy’s on the same days. We will only have an effect if we all call and complain. Let’s mobilize beginning Monday and call numerous times to let CBS and it’s BB15 sponsors know that we cannot accept these houseguests remaining on the show and potentially winning $500,000 in spite of such blatant bigotry.

I know it will take you some time but wouldn’t be rewarding if they finally give up and remove Aaryn on Thursday during the live show? WE CAN DO IT!

CBS programming: Call 212-975-3247 between 10am-11:30am & 2pm-3:30pm (Eastern Standard Time)

    Call Corporate Sponsors:
    McDonald’s: 1-800-244-6227 from 8am-8pm (Eastern Standard Time)
    Macy’s: 1-888-622-9793 from 9am-5pm (Eastern Standard Time)

Remember that we are doing this from Monday to Wednesday as many times as we can. If we all do this I’m sure we will win this battle and Thursday will be our day :)

I can see Amanda trying to stir up shit with Kaitlin et al by implying there’s a “minority alliance.” Even though, technically speaking, Amanda’s part of the biggest minority of them all (in the BB house certainly), so I’m not sure what that means.

But whatever, I’m on team Helen. They’ve finally got a really smart woman in there, who’s easy on the eyes and an actual woman, not some young kid who only started menstruating last week (even though, damn, she looks like she’s 20).

I like Judd too. I think he’s going to be really interesting as the season moves on.

Helen told Jessie that she wants to get rid of everyone from the Moving Company. Jessie is all paranoid about being the next to go home and Helen is telling her that if she has any control at all with her alliance, then Jessie has nothing to worry about. She also doesn’t want Kaitlin to leave either. She thinks that once Jeremy is gone, she will be much better to deal with. Jessie tells Helen that Kaitlin told her that she was playin’ 5 guys before she came into the house, so she thinks she’s just doing the same to Jeremy right now, that he doesn’t mean as much to him as she let’s on. Ahhh, now we know why she spread her legs the first chance she got!…. and she was soooo worried about what Daddy would think…HA! Well Helen doesn’t care if she’s a slut, she’s a girl and that’s enough for her. Howard and Spencer are big fat liars and she hates liars more than racists, so they have to go first. She’s going to keep Andy cuz she trusts him more than anyone else in the house and he’s a HUGE squealer. As for Pizza Boy, right now, she can’t pin anything on him and he’s not a liar or a anything bad that she can see…YET… so he can stay. Tonight she throwing a nail polish party in the HOH room just for the girls… and Andy!

You guys are making such a big deal over this ringworm thing… god almighty… LOL, it’s not the clap! My kid got ringworm somehow on the side of his face and he’s an extremely clean person… anyhow, he bought some fungal cream to get rid of it and it did the job in a matter of a week. My daughter developed a patch of dry skin between her breasts and used the fungal cream to see if it would help get rid of this brownish dry patch. After about a week, SHE noticed this circle-type thing in that spot. She went to the Dr. and it was ringworm. She got it from the tube that her brother used for his ringworm.

My point? If Jeremy is using the same cream that Amanda is using on his ringworm and double dipping, then he’s infecting her. BB needs to give Jeremy the right cream before everyone has it!

Re: Amanda. She’s toeing a line, but it doesn’t seem to me like she has crossed it yet. When she suggested that Howard was playing the race card, it felt like she was pushing Kaitlin into a spiral because Kaitlin was already all worked up on her own about Howard playing a religion card, and the conversation was just between the two of them.

As for the comments this morning, on the 9:15 one, she stated that she has a cousin who is black, so she doesn’t feel like she can be racist – everyone laughed at her and told her that it sounded like she was using the “but I have a black friend!” excuse, and she just kind of accepted that and conversation moved on to trashing Aryan’s racism, because she ACTUALLY used the “but I have a black friend” excuse.

Joker’s claims that at 9:40 Amanda talked about how Asians break out into a rash when they drink, but I listened to that time period a few times, and I heard nothing even close to that – around the same time, Aryan was in the bathroom talking about how Jeremy looks Asian when he’s wearing her glasses, so maybe that was it? I really don’t know.

Her impression of GM is AMAZING btw.

So for the ringworm thing, Jeremy had it and Nick had prescription-strength hydrocortisone cream that he leant to him. Amanda and Jeremy at some point accidentally used the same towel, so that’s how SHE got it. Then yesterday, Jeremy offered to her the hydrocortisone cream that Nick left behind, and that’s when BB intervened and told her she couldn’t use it.

And I know ringworm isn’t that big of a deal… it’s just that it’s a fungus, and this particular group of houseguests seem especially unworried about transferring communicable nastiness between each other. I have yet to see one of them wash their hands with soap.

Here’s a nice chat in the backyard just a bit ago with Amanda, Andy and Jeremy. They got to talking about the things they’ve been saying in the house. Amanda is wondering why she hasn’t gotten any penalty nomination points because she can’t seem to stop saying “retarded”. she says it all the time. Andy says he does too. They both agree that they are the worst offenders. Jeremy tells her that SHE”S retarded if she thinks that’s the worst thing ever said on BB. This brings up the topic of racism and Aaryn.
    null
Amanda says she tries to stop her, but the girl just can’t help herself. They were sitting on the hammock last night and she said something about the people working on her plantation. She just doesn’t get that people don’t take that as a joke. Jeremy says he told her that the people at home know that you are joking and that’s what matters. They all think that Aaryn doesn’t MEAN to be that way, it’s not intentional. Amanda tells him that it’s not the people at home she needs to worry about. Jeremy thinks the people “in there” are blowing it up! “We can’t tell how we are being portrayed?” Amanda tells him that she can by the way they question her in there and it’s in multiple sessions about Aaryn. BB chimes in “You are not allowed to talk about the DR”.
    null
Amanda said she made a “Mexican shower” comment today and she’ll probably get called out for that one, so she’s got a lot to talk about. Andy says it’s hard to realize what your saying before you say it. He sees a plane in the sky and asks if it looks pink. “It is PINK!… or is that racist?”

We have a brand NEW alliance! It’s the “Goof Troop” and consists of Amanda, Pizza Boy, Judd & Andy. These 3 just decided on the name after throwing a few around, including “Knock-Outs” from the Nintendo game with Mike Tyson.

@Dashley, the thing that Amanda was talking about is a real thing. It’s called Asian Flush and it comes from Asian cultures breaking down alcohols differently in their digestive systems (unlike Caucasian cultures, who drank beer and alcohol for centuries and evolved the ability). Talking about it is no more racist than saying that african americans are more susceptible to heart disease or jews have a higher chance of getting Crohn’s Disease. I have to believe the Aaryn comment is what triggered the racism response team.

I do agree with glitterous; my best friend is Korean and she and all her family members turn quite red when they drink, except her brother, but he is 25 and drinks quite a bit, so we think he has just built up a tolerance.

Thanks Glitterous- I never thought it was racist at all, I just saw that someone called that out on Joker’s around the time Amanda was supposedly saying something racist, and I didn’t even hear her say that when I listened a few times, so I’m just confused. It’s also possible that the feeds were screwing it up – you could go back to a specific time stamp, and the clock on the bottom was showing a completely different time, because it has just been buggy lately.

I have a friend from college who is from Hong Kong and he could only have two drinks before he got alcohol poisoning. He would try and try to be fun drunk with the rest of us, but it never worked out for him. Ten years later, I haven’t seen him drink an alcoholic beverage since before we graduated, but I still remember how sick he would get.

Would anyone else tune into a special where they kicked Aaryn off? Like, a Tuesday evening special? It could start with her being called into the diary room, then brought into the studio, complete with full audience. Julie sits her down, shows the full 15 minutes of clips of prejudice things she has been saying. She gives her an opportunity to say her piece, then says, “Well, just so you know, you have been fired from your agency and America is livid.” Aaryn leaves the studio without any fanfare, just the disapproving stares of the audience. Then Julie herself goes into the house (just to show how serious she is), explains that Aaryn has just left and calls out Spencer, Gina Marie and Jeremy for their comments. They’re given a warning and that’s the end of the special.

I fully believe all four should be punished for their comments, but obviously CBS isn’t going to do that. I feel like this is the only situation that would fully express CBS’ seriousness about the situation and get the racism in the house to stop.

It was CANDICE vs JEREMY at HIGH NOON!

Earlier today during pool time, Jeremy happened to be discussing the demise of the Moving Company. Candice was sunbathing on the sidelines. Things really didn’t get heated until Jeremy brought up those damn votes! Jeremy said: “If I go out, I’m going out in a blaze of glory cuz that’s just the way it is and I’m just who I am. I’m happy with it.” Candice spoke up and said the MC just used her for a vote. Jeremy said he didn’t say anything to her and she comes back with “Spencer did.” He tells her he voted for David still and she says “oh no you did not.”
    null
He tells her that when she gets home, would she call him and apologize when she sees that she’s wrong. He DID vote for David. She says there is no way that he did. That would mean that GM didn’t and we know that she did. He tells her that Nick didn’t. She tries to count the votes again. he tells her it was him, Gina, Kaitlin, Aaryn and her…. that’s 5. So she wants to know why would Spencer tell her that HE voted for David. Jeremy say cuz Spencer will try to get you to believe anything he says.
    null
Amanda, who’s been sitting on the sidelines, pipes in to start to ask Candice if she’s the one who told Jeremy that it was Amanda’s idea to backdoor David… but Candice jumps right up and immediately says “NO!” which causes Jeremy to call her a liar! You just don’t call Candice a liar and get away with it!
    null
“Look me in my eye and lie on me one more time Jeremy!” Candice holler across to Aaryn , who’s on a lounge chair at the other side of the pool: “Did I say that in the room?” She gets back in Jeremy’s face. “Look me in my eye! The One thing I did NOT say was..” Jeremy is circling her, taunting her, calling her a liar… “No, no no….”
    null
Moving past Jeremy, Candice goes to the other side of the pool towards Aaryn to plead her case, “When I came up to the room, who did I say ya all should put up… on the block…? Ya all were in the room… and ya all questioned me… what did I say about Amanda & McCrea?”
    null
Jeremy joins her at the side of the pool and chimes in, “We’re not talkin’ about the time in the HOH room…” Candice looks at him like he’s an idiot, “That’s the only time I talked to all of you together!”
    http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/1889/1ft2.jpg
Aaryn: “Who did you say to put up?”
Candice: “Who did I say to put up…. the one person I said to put up…. Did I throw Amanda & McCrae under the bus?”
    Aaryn: “No.”
    Candice: “No.. Thank you!”
    null
Candice continues now that she proved her point, “I said that I owed Amanda & McCrae because they took me off the block and I said should put up NICK! She points her finger for dramatic effect! The reason I said you should put up Nick was because I wanted you to know that Jeremy was not to be trusted, but I couldn’t come right out and say it because you were sleeping with the enemy. But I was trying to tell you they were in a boy’s alliance!…. remember when I came over and I was like ‘Somebody on side’s like not really on your side’…”
    Aaryn: “yeh….”
Candice: “….and that’s what I said and I did NOT say anything about Amanda. If I’m anything, I’m a loyal person!” Candice finally swims back to the other side of the pool. Aaryn tells Jeremy she doesn’t remember any of these conversations and Jeremy tells her it’s okay and not to get upset, then he starts back over to Candice….
    null
Candice is talking out loud, “Don’t lie on me! I’m not a scared of you. I’m not a scaredy bitch, but you’re not going to lie on me, that’s for sure!”
Jeremy swirls around back and forth by her, “I’m not lying…”
Candice: “Why would I throw somebody under the bus when they just took me off the block!”
She lays back down and drips water on herself.
    null
Jeremy: “You totally threw her under the bus!”
    null
Candice is up like she was shot! Jeremy tells her, “I’m not the one gettin’ all upset like you are.”
Candice: “That’s because I don’t like it when people lie on me.”
Jeremy: “You’re upset cuz you got called out and you know it!”
    Candice: “Called out…. about WHAT?”
    Jeremy: “Called out about…”
Candice pointing to Aaryn: “She JUST said I didn’t throw Amanda under the bus! Did I have some secret conversation with you? The only conversation you can have is how big your DICK is!”
    http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/1166/60c4.jpg
Jeremy: “It wasn’t a secret and I never said how big my dick is.”
Candice: “We’ll wait and see it on TV then.
Jeremy: “Yes, we will, won’t we.”
Candice: “If nothing else, we’ll see how loyal I am. that’s why you’re walking out the door!”
Jeremy: “.. and you’ll be right behind me.”
    null
Jeremy: “Wanna talk about how big my DICK is?”

Amanda’s been busy with her secret alliances. She’s just trying to find somebody to put Candice or Howard on the block next and get them evicted without her or Pizza Boy being involved or having “blood on the their hands”. She’s brought on the suggestion to Jessie, Aaryn, who would love to see Candice gone and Kaitlin. Her Goof Troop aren’t pleased with Elissa. They think she’s an ungrateful bitch and if it wasn’t for them, she’d be sitting on her couch at home watching BB, not here with them. As for Helen & Elissa, they can’t stop dancing over the fact that Jeremy is leaving. It’s a constant “Happy Dance” for them.

I’m watching BBAD. Helen and Jessie are in the backyard talking. Now Andy has joined them.

If they were in my public speaking class, they would be failing…because I made my students start over anytime they threw in an extraneous “like.” Some students were cured of the awful habit very quickly. One girl, however, was very frustrated. It took her weeks to learn to speak without throwing in “like” every third word. These guys? Holy crap. STOP SAYING “LIKE”!!!!!!!!!

@glitterous: I don’t want anyone to be punished for saying stupid things. They should simply face the consequences for the things they say. That’s good enough.

Of course, what I’d like to see is that when Jeremy, Aaryn and GM are evicted, they walk out to an empty room, with no one but a PA to show them the way to the door. That’d be great! And it’s not really a punishment — it’s the result of them being so odious, no one would want to be in the same room with them.

I’m still hoping Kaitlin will redeem herself. Who’s she going to get with next in the house? I bet it’s Howard.

@Dashley regarding the times 9:15 for Amanda (racist comment) I was referring to her talk about Puerto Rican showers comment, not her saying she had a black cousin. She kept talk about Puerto Rican showers and thought she was being really funny but McCrae told her she was being racist and she tried cover it up by saying shes had sex with a Puerto Rican. Like i said, shes no chris rock. she needs to chill out. as for her having a black cousin, maybe she does, maybe she doesnt but it is something will do or say (black friend/relative) to try and give themselves a racism pass. its unacceptable to me. sometimes i really like amanda but i cant excuse some of her behavior. i keep trying to imagine who i would be friends with if i was in that house. i personally think id probably hang out with judd and candace, maybe even spencer. although as soon as the ladies leave the room spencer says some sexually DISGUSTING shit about them. he cant stop talking about Jessie’s body and said if he slept next to her shed wake up with a boner in her back. oh and they were talking about her being on her period and spencer said hed chew on her tampon.

So last night at around 1am Amada took all of Nick’s random crap (blue hat(actually mccraes), sunglasses, chapstick, hair gel, granola box, and a very dirty coffee cup) that he left behind that GM has been hoarding (her Nick “shrine”) and hid it around the cockpit. McCrae, Judd, Andy, and Aaryn were all in on it. Finally at 2:30am GM announces shes going to bed and quickly realizes Nick’s stuff is missing. She immediately starts sobbing hysterically like the crazy bitch that I have NOT grown to love. As soon as Amanda realizes that GM is crying she fills her in on the prank and gives her back the stuff but not before blaming everyone else in the house. Eventually GM starts laughing about it too but I guess we’ll see if GM will harbor any resentment for this. When GM finally does go to sleep, Candace and Howard announce to her they are going to have a memorial for Nick today and that GM HAS TO put all of Nick’s stuff in a box and they are going to put it away. They told GM that she is “scaring the shit out of them”. Haha. She keeps asking if she can still sleep with hat, or take his stuff to the meetings. They flat out say “NO”. Candace says they are going to wear black, GM is going to wear a veil, and Howard will be the minister at the memorial for the “Shady Fuck known as Nick” lol Candace is hilarious. Candace says GM can one last cry for Nick and thats it. GM seems on board with this idea so we’ll see. I think the bitch is bi-polar or something cuz shes KRAY KRAY.

@chick110, GM’s clothes and makeup were confiscated at the beginning of the season for reasons that were not explained. The best guess we’ve come up with is that everything had a big ol’ logo on it and so she couldn’t bring it in. Her mother sent her a bunch of clothes, but they didn’t expose enough of her lady bits, so she’s been borrowing clothes from other people in the house.

I flash-backed to see how Helen’s “nail polish” party went last night. God, she must be a Girl Scout leader back home or something. She had to give this little speech before everyone could start doing their nails … about it being a night of fun just for the girls because they are “special”, no game talk, just a night to get to know each other better and to share each others lives… blah blah blah… so they can become closer and sing Kumbaya!
    null

Of course it didn’t last long because Jeremy and Andy crash the party… Andy had an official invite, so he was allowed to be there, but Jeremy just didn’t care. He hadn’t had his tongue in Kaitlin’s mouth in almost an hour. He kisses Kaitlin with a mouth full of sandwich while Andy picks a nail color and asks who’s going to volunteer to do his toes. Jeremy then goes around looking at all the girls art work, even stopping to admire Elissa’s and asking if she has the Canadian leaf on her nail. She says yes. He moves on and kisses Kaitlin again and Elissa asks if he’ll go down and ask BB if they’ll give them some nail clipper. He says sure and leaves. No DRAMA! damn….

Actually there was a little drama. The girls were talking about their first kisses and when it was Jessie’s turn she said her first kiss was in the boys bathroom. Andy jokingly called her a ho. Then Kaitlin started laughing hysterically for an extended period of time. According to Jessie she “mean mugged” Kaitlin and quickly left the nail party. Helen not wanting to draw attention to herself waited about 10 minutes and left the party to “see if the storage room had wine”. She then went out to he BY to see if Elissa was ok.shee told Jessie she would of come out sooner but she didn’t want to turn it into a thing and have them talk about it, which was a lie beacause about an hour later she sat up in HOH with GM Kaitlin Jeremy and Aaron talking about it.

Of course, the nail polish party was happening at the same time as Spencer had his conversation with Judd about whether he was having a showmance with Jessie.
Spencer: “You got a little showmance going with Jessie yet?”
    Judd: “nah.”
    Spencer: “a little kiss yet?”
    Judd: “nope.”
    Spencer: “titties yet?”
    Judd: “nope… nuthin'”
Spencer: “damn…. you EVER rub her titties or finger her, I want you to run to me as fast as you can when it’s over and let me smell your fingers or let me touch your hands.”
    Judd: “ha ha ha…”
Spencer: “If she was sleeping with me she would have a big boner in her back.”
Judd (clearly not comfortable with this convo anymore): “I know but…”
Spencer: “She’s fine dude… the shorts she wears… and you can always see her nipples… she doesn’t wear a bra.”
    Judd: “yeh.”
Spencer: “I’d love to see her butt naked.”
    Judd: “me too.”
Spencer: “How long you been sleepin’ with her?”
Judd: “Two nights, but the one night we were up all night.”
Spencer: “Oh yah, that sucked. I don’t even flirt with her… or anyone because of Marilyn.”
Judd: “Do you think she’s watchin’ the feeds?”
Spencer: “If she’s missin’ me she is… and my family too maybe…”

Yes it IS a prank from last night that Judd, Aaryn and Kaitlin pulled after they found all of these crazy sex protection items in the storeroom including a “dam”? that women use. This one sent the girls into fits of giggles and they had to show it to Judd who didn’t have a clue what it was either. I think Andy ended up involved in the whole thing too. They thought they’d use some cottage cheese as filler in the condoms…ewww! But instead they wiped BBQ sauce on it so it looked like some one was on their period. Aaryn was in hysterics the whole time. The “dam” went in Amanda’s bed, still in it’s package.
    null
The “dam” and condoms are found and the prank is hatched.

Neurotical, you’re right, there are some uncomfortable racial things Amanda says, and she actually seems to know better, which makes it worse. At least she doesn’t seem mean-spirited about it, so she’s got that going for her…?

Spencer’s not gay. He’s just a douchenozzle. You guys heard that his mom talked to TMZ and defended him, saying that he’s not really misogyinistic, it’s just the persona he’s putting on for his game? I’m actually starting to believe that, because I see him be warm and caring toward the ladies when they’re around, and he seems genuine, but as soon as they’re out of the room, he says the grossest thing possible. It’s possible he’s putting on the misogyny, not realizing that it’s the absolute stupidest thing he could do.

I’m with Itchy on the Spencer’s gay wagon. He seems to grossly exaggerate his guy talk to either what he thinks guys would say, or what guys around him previously would say. Like many things for him, he overdoes it and tries way too hard!

I’m cool if we don’t all agree on this, it’s just my opinion . . .

I’m being generous when I say that he’s a repressed homosexual. Because if he isn’t, he really is a vile piece of shit.

And I don’t think Helen does anything ‘just for fun.’ It’s all carefully calculated. It’d be very cool if she can orchestrate and all-female final. Even cooler if she pull off an all-female final 6.

For those wondering, Amanda found the prank just a little while ago – her reaction was nowhere near as entertaining as GM’s when she discovered Nick’s things were missing. They’re going to have a “funeral” for Nick – they were supposed to have it tonight but GM wanted it moved to Friday because she is not done “mourning” yet.

…seriously. Seriously? It’s been almost a week GET OVER IT ALREADY.

Spencer is gross even by fratboy standards, not to mention that the fixation with Jessie is kind of creepy (stalker, restraining order kind of creepy, that is). I’m starting to like her a little, if anything because she is starting to steer clear from all the other crap. She’s going to completely freak out when she sees all the stuff that he says about her.

I’m not sure if the gross guy is the “character” that he is playing. The sweet, nice guy is probably the real act. Glitterous is right, if he were a bit better looking and had more confidence he would be the douche that eventually gets dumped for the underdog in the romantic comedy. Is the more bitter, guy-with-no-game version of that guy….actually isn’t that the usual serial killer type?

Having done blue collar work in the Midwest years ago, Spencer is acting just like a whole lot of guys I once worked with. That type of behavior was the norm, being the gentleman to a female and then discussing what they wanted to do with the female as soon as the female got out of earshot. I’ve heard everything he’s said numerous times and worse. I think he is acting just like he would on the railroad. Just my humble opinion.

So let’s catch up on today’s events!

Judd and Jessie had a heart-to-heart, and admitted to each other that the house sees them as floaters. Judd believes that in spite of that, with their pivotal votes, they have made some of the biggest moves in the game and they’re flying under the radar. They solidify an alliance, and decide that their primary targets are Spencer and Kaitlin, and they’d like to work on forming a team with McManda.
Introducing… Tenexas! (Bc they’re from Tennessee and Texas, get it? No, but really, that’s what they named their alliance.)

GinaMarie was whining more about Nick, and crying and hugging Jeremy to tell him how much she’s going to miss him, and then pulls her tongue ring out of her pocket and pops it right in to her tongue. So so gross.

Over the last couple of days, McManda have been short with each other. They have tiny little tiffs, and then they quickly get over them. It might have more to do with the fact that they’re both have-nots than anything else. Also, I think Amanda has her period?

Aaryn has been campaigning half-heartedly to save Jeremy, and McManda are trying to tell her that she’s just making herself a bigger target by doing that. On his own behalf, Jeremy is trying to convince people that he has enough votes, but he’s counting Judd, McCrae, and Amanda, so I don’t know what drug he’s on if he really believes that. He even went asshat-in-hand to Elissa to try to convince her, right in front of Helen and Andy, but Elissa wasn’t having it, calling him out on all the stupid shit he’s done.

Pizza Boy has been growing a beard! What do you guys think of it?

Candice and Howard are getting a little more comfortable with PDA- he’s giving her a foot massage, that by Candice’s report, isn’t a very good foot massage.

At the same time of Candice’s foot massage, McManda are having a discussion of how they are perceived in the house. They’re pretty sure no one knows that they are actually affectionate toward each other beyond the occasional cuddle. (There ARE rumors, but they’re right, no one else knows for sure.) They decide they’re smart to continue to keep it under wraps.
Someone needs to make a chart showing all the showmance and alliance connections in this house. It’s starting to get really hard to keep track of. Maybe if I get bored one of these days…

What, did you think Jeremy was going to be sent home before saying more racist stuff? PFFT! (12:44 AM)

Kaitlin is fuming to Jeremy (while smoking one of Jessie’s cigarettes that she didn’t ask if she could have) that Howard is throwing every competition. She specifically refers to the first have-not comp.
Kaitlin: Don’t tell me that Howard with that build can’t paddle backwards.
Jeremy (whispering): Not to sound racist, but black people can’t swim!
Kaitlin: Don’t say that on national television.
    Jeremy: I didn’t! I didn’t say that… I just whispered it.

Which brings me to… Kaitlin always seems bothered about the bad behavior of the people she hangs with, but she always seems much more upset that it’s happening on TV – I don’t think she would care if any of them were being racist if there were no cameras or microphones.

There’s a group hanging out in HoH, and GM was talking about how much she wants Julie Chen’s job (maybe you should drop the racism and the terrible New Yahk accent first, GM) and Helen was saying that’s her dream job, too! They hatch a plan for a daily talk show in the style of the Talk:
Helen will be the main anchor and interviewer
Andy will do a daily weather report
Elissa will do health and exercise tips
Candice will have a “Keepin’ it Real with Candice” segment
    Howard will do sports

They’re going to sit in the living room and each have a coffee mug… I really hope they do this. It’s either going to be straight-up funny or BAD funny.

Conversation in HoH turns to showmances… and they suddenly realize that this is the most showmantic season ever! (How did they not figure this out before?)
Jeremy & Kaitlin, Aaryn & David, McCrae & Amanda, Jessie & Judd, Howard & Candice (it should be noted that both H & C are in the room, and they don’t deny it), GM & Nick. GM says Nick never wanted to kiss or anything, so they didn’t have a showmance, and Candice says “Yes you did. You cried over him for 60 hours.” LOL! And just to make everything even, they decide that Helen & Spencer are in a Nomance and Elissa & Andy are in a competitionmance, because they seem to always be on the same team in competitions. So everyone is in a ‘mance!

As we approach week #4 the mood, at least on the BB sites and in this forum, has shifted about Aaryn and the others as well. It seems the more they are observed, the more defined their personality becomes, except for Elissa. IMO, she has yet to do ANYTHING to deserve a single one of the MVP votes that “America” has bestowed on her. I am quite sure that the producers had a big hand in these changes in personalities. Every time they are in that diary room, they are asked questions or told things that make them mindful that they are on national TV. It wasn’t noticeable at first, but more and more, they let it slip that they have to watch what they say. Now it’s Jessie who worries about what she is saying, censoring herself at times. Others, like Spencer, don’t find the things they say offensive at all.

As for Aaryn, it’s taken countless conversations with Amanda, who seems to be the most savvy to what the DR is preaching, and also convos with Helen, to realize she needs to tone it down. BUT she doesn’t like it. She had a conversation with Judd yesterday saying that she was trying very hard to “hold her tongue” and pretend to be someone she’s not, just to stay in the house. He told he noticed and that she was doing a great job and to just keep it up. She said she was trying really hard, but it was killing her to be so fake, that’s not who she is. She said that at least Candice and Elissa now talk to her. Judd said that was a start. She doesn’t like doing all that stupid shit either, like the nail party and a list of other things. She is definitely not happy pretending to be nice.

And Jeremy… I’m not expecting CBS to air any of his derogatory statements about women. For one thing, I don’t think they’ll put “meat wallet” out over the airwaves and most of what he said were things of that natures and un-airable. The things he and Spencer say are just not repeatable and don’t work into the “storyline”. They are just men being pigs to women and that can just be bleeped out. You can just forget CBS calling them out on it, it’s not going to happen unless there is a HUGE fight in the house over it.

Howard, on the other hand, could be different, because he is hiding behind his Bible and that could be a storyline, if he uses it to scheme with and then claims it was just strategy, which at times, is just what he’s doing. It will be the reason he is gone way before his time.

Everyone has finally gotten comfortable with these cast members and folks are not so outraged with them as they were on week #1. Just go back and read the 1st week thread and see how everybody felt then and now and you will agree that things have changed.

Even Itchy has started to have feeling for Aaryn…..

    Glitterous, that chart was perfect!!

Itchy, I think you’re partly right. Aryan THINKS she’s being funny, and that’s why she says the things she does. But when you drill down to her motivations and subsequent behaviors – she aligned from the start with Jeremy, Kaitlin, and David bc they were the “prettiest people in the house.” She constantly complains about how people expect the worst out of her because she’s blonde and blue-eyed, without recognizing the irony. When she’s angry (for any reason,) the first person she’ll pick on is Candice, and not too far down that list are Helen and Andy.

Racist language is shitty. Racist behaviors are worse – Aryan has both.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I still think she’s a complete twit. And obviously she’s a racist. But there are different types of racists — I don’t think she’d join the Klan for example. And I believe her when she claims to have black friends (well, probably not anymore). Although, yes, I caught that she takes out her anger on Candice first of all (no doubt partly because Candice is prettier than she is). I think her stupid statements might have more to do with her Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

And she’s just not worth my anger anymore. Maybe it’s just that.

On the other hand, I bet Chooch is right, and I’m just letting the show manipulate me into forgetting about the nastiness of the first couple of weeks. I’m not sure how I feel about that yet. Hmm.

At 4:30 in the morning, McManda had what SEEMS to be a dry-humping session in the cockpit…
Afterwards, they talked game for a little bit because McCrae is ALWAYS on edge and never lets it go, and Amanda wanted him to relax for a minute. And then they had some cute moments:
Amanda: I don’t want to like you, I don’t want to love you. You give me goosebumps.
They made out for a while, and it was really, really slurpy.
They joke about how they both REALLY, REALLY want to go to Sea World, and this is just a guess, but I’m pretty sure it’s a euphemism. I don’t think either of them much cares about Shamu.
And then Amanda compliments him on his… size. (Note: I believe her, because earlier there was discussion about how sometimes his dick touches the toilet water if he’s not careful when he sits on the toilet.) Then she talks dirty to him by mouthing the words, and you just just barely hear what she’s saying- McCrae giggles nervously, telling her that everyone can hear what she’s saying. She doesn’t think we can, but she’s wrong. It goes back to PG:

    Amanda: Do you love me?
    PB: Hmm?
    Amanda: Do you love me?
    PB: Mm-hmm.
    Amanda: You do?
    PB: Mm-hmm.
    Amanda: You swear?

So just yesterday Candice was trying to convince people that she and Howard aren’t in a showmance, they just cuddle in bed at night, because “in the BB house you need someone to hold on to,” but no one was buying it, and even she didn’t sound so sure. Well, these two are getting more affectionate and they’re really varying the hours of the day for their affection, too. This is happening right now.
Candice harnesses this for her game, too. She tells Howard all the people she’s afraid are going to put her on the block if they win HoH- and she’s pretty much right about all of them (Aaryn, GM, etc.) She thinks she has enough sway w/ McManda, Elissa, and Helen to keep Howard off the block if they’re HoH, but she’s pretty much wrong there. Neither of them have any idea how big a target Howard has become.

I guess GM misses talking on the phone? So they pretend…

And then Judd hangs up on GM because he’s “going through the drive-thru…” but really, he didn’t feel like talking.

Just when I thought Jeremy couldn’t get worse, on tonight’s episode he calls himself a “Cherokee Chief” in the DR. If the Cherokees can kick out former slaves they recognized for over one hundred years as members, they should give old Germy the Boot! What an insult on top of all the other Native American stupid stuff he has spouted. How disrespectful!

The position of Chief is earned…respected. Two things Germy knows NOTHING about.

I knew it! Helen’s crying was fake. She is totally manipulating people with the sad/emotional card.

Also, I thought it is pretty impressive how she is able to get others to do the actual talking/proposing of moves while she appears to stay out of it. Rather than telling Elissa to put up Howard, she told McCranda to do it. Then, when Elissa didn’t want to do it and wanted to put up Spencer, she told her to talk to McCranda about it.

She gets to look supportive to both Elissa and McCranda while they get begin to butt heads with each other, leaving Helen out of it. I’m definitely team Helen.

Meanwhile, poor Howard is the worse liar ever. His back-pedaling to Helen was so sad.

Production did quite a bit of viewer manipulation in this last episode – FIRST of all, Big Brother actually specifically stated that Jeremy was the first to tell Helen about the Moving Company when in fact in was McCrae, and SECOND, they made it look like the Elissa/Amanda fight over Spencer’s nomination happened before Elissa made her choice, when it really happened afterwards.

    Not impressed.

Has anyone gone to CBS.com and done any of the “Royalty Votes”? I guess the results will have a tie-in to the HOH competition tomorrow night. won’t all the house guests be disappointed when they realize it’s not going to be an endurance comp. That’s what they’re all expecting.

    Here’s the questions:

Who would be crowned the Earl of Egotism because they are most likely to want their face added to Mount Rushmore?
Who would be crowned the Duke of Dork because they are most likely to stand in line for ten hours to buy a Zingbot action figure?
Who would be crowned the Sultan of Sexy because they are most likely to be featured on the cover of Hot Highnesses Weekly?
Who would be crowned the King of Klutz because they are most likely to trip over their own words?
Who would be crowned the Mean Queen because they are most likely to laugh while stealing candy from a baby?
Who would be crowned the Lord of Laziness because they are most likely to go straight from living in the Big Brother house to living in their parents’ basement?
Who would be crowned the Squire of Sugar because they are most likely to go on an ice cream binge and gain 100 pounds this summer?
Who would be crowned the Friar of Frowns because they are most likely to whine when the house runs out of wine?
Who would be crowned the Heir to Hair because it looks like they go to a barber who uses a weed whacker?
Who would be crowned the Duchess of Dress because it looks like they buy their wardrobe from the bargain bin?
Who would be crowned the Count of Cute because they are more adorable than a litter of puppies?
Who would be crowned the Maiden of Mischief because they are most likely to egg the Big Brother house on Halloween?
Who would be crowned the Prince of Pecs because they are most likely to wrestle a bear and win?
Who would be crowned the Knight of Naughtiness because they are most likely to strut around town in their underwear?
Who would be crowned the Baron of Boneheads because they are most likely to skydive and forget to wear a parachute?
