Hello again, TTV’ers!
We open with Unser waking up in his trailer on the T-M property instead of a mash-up of scenes with Jax’s journal-writing voiceover. Unser doesn’t look too happy about facing another morning alone.
I do appreciate his nighttime attire. Pajama pants coupled with a baggy t-shirt is pretty much the most comfortable combo in the world. Also, waking up to a breakfast of medicinal marijuana can’t be half bad. Unfortunately, before he can take a toke, three masked white guys arrive to kick his ass.
Meanwhile, at Casa Teller, Jax is also making some fantastic pajama choices.
As he’s waiting for his coffee to brew, he has an early morning visitor, and it’s not an over-zealous Mormon or the ghost of murders past. It’s Tig, alive and well! And totally clueless that Jax was going to let August kill him! Tig says that August came by the storage warehouse to see Jax last night and asked Tig to tell Jax to meet him first thing in the morning to discuss business. When Tig tells Jax the prospect never showed up to give him a ride home, Jax takes the blame, saying he forgot to tell the prospect about the errand because he’s got so much going on with club business and Tara’s impending trial.
Sheriff Roosevelt is at Diosa Norte, asking Nero about Erin, whose body they found on the side of the road, where Lee Toric surreptitiously dumped it. They show him a warrant for his truck, since the “witness” to the dumping reported that he saw a Ford truck leaving the site. Roosevelt wants Nero to come to the station for questioning voluntarily. As he’s leaving, Lyla offers to call Gemma and fill her in, and Nero tells her not to do that. Outside, Lee’s enjoying the show, leaning against his pimpmobile.
Jax meets August, and asks about Trager’s stay of execution. After August smiles at Jax’s realization that this was a loyalty test,
they discuss the conditions of Tig’s pardon: August wants first dibs on the Irish gun trade that the Sons are giving up. Jax promises to talk to Gaalan about it, and they also discuss the fact that Clay’s in deep shit with the white supremacists in prison since he shanked their leader. August warns Jax that this could blow back on the MC.
Gemma arrives at T-M and sees Unser strung up in one of the garage bays, badly beaten and cut up, but alive. She gets him down and when Chucky arrives, she tells him to get Jax. After credits, everyone’s at T-M and Jax finds out from Unser that the three guys were probably some unorganized Nazi group, judging from their tats and the messy swastika one of them carved on Unser’s torso. The third blatant clue is that Clay killed a pretty powerful white supremacist in Stockton prison yesterday.
