Bit tardy, I’m struggling under having to write up two more chapters for my exam this week. And I watched the second ep of ‘Atlantis’ yesterday, which after a slow start is beginning to look good. But back to the world of young children being over-praised for their achievements.
They’re still breaking through! Where are those Destroyers?
One little chap, our friend who got intense with the knives last week, wants to own a restaurant. Or be a wrestler. I bet in twenty years time he’s an accountant.
The prize is a hundred thousand dollars. The kids all say what they’d do with the money, probably nothing is the answer as Mom and Dad fly off to Bermuda for the winter. Or more boringly, it might offset their debts from college a little.
The first mystery box of the season!
If there’s anything alive in here, it’ll eat me
She’s already standing on tiptoes there. Maybe they should try having some smaller benches for the less tall mini-minis. Micros?
There’s an ingredient in the box never used before – a tablet. They’re going to be allowed to skype a friend or family member to get 3 minutes of help. Whaaat? So they’re essentially going to be told what to do. Most of the skill in the Mystery box is working out exactly what to do, how to combine the flavors and so on. Bleh.
Anyway they’ve got a broad range of ingredients from steak to berries, with shrimp and pastry on the way. Its a pretty generous set of ingredients and yet they still get to phone home. I say no, let them do it on their own. I don’t care if that means they turn out far less complex dishes, they’re kids it’s what I’d expect.
