The Huffington post is reporting that Lisa Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd have been named in a lawsuit over the location of their future gay club, P.U.M.P. because, well to be honest, I’m still not 100% sure as to why they are being sued.
“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” couple Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd have been named in a fraud lawsuit over a business deal gone wrong.
Entrepreneurs Ryan Allen Carrillo and Andrew Gruver filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court this week, naming Vanderpump and her husband as defendants and alleging breach of fiduciary duty, constructive fraud, breach of contract, and misrepresentation and deceit, according to court documents obtained by RadarOnline.com.
Carrillo and Gruver claim the couple “unfairly snatched the West Hollywood venue” where they intended to open a gay sports bar called Bar Varsity.
So what seems to have happened is that this Ryan Carrillo and Andrew Gruver were going to open a gay bar in Hollywood, because heaven knows there’s an untapped market somebody needs to service, and supposedly the guy who owned the property where they wanted to put their bar was going to put up like a half a million dollars for it, only he didn’t, and then they are saying their other investors got cold feet because of this, so they couldn’t build their bar. Then, one day while they are minding their own business walking down the street, they see signs for Lisa V’s gay bar at their spot, and they get all like hells no brah, sue, sue, sue!
Now, if you are asking yourself, what does this have to do with Ken and Lisa, well just read below
Carrillo and Gruver allege the Vanderpumps interfered with contractual and prospective economic relations because they knew there was already deal in place but “intended to disrupt the performance of the Agreement” anyway. The plaintiffs are suing for damages in excess of $4 million and seeking a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction to stop the development of P.U.M.P. Lounge.
